Kids Planet Cleveleys provides flexible day care services for up to 48 children aged from 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is open year round, Monday - Friday from 8am - 6pm, making it ideal for working families.

Running as a forest and beach school nursery, Kids Planet really makes the most of its seaside location. Children are given ample opportunities to learn from the great outdoors, hopefully sparking a love for nature and the environment from an early age, as well as providing varied learning and play opportunities.

A team of experienced practitioners run the site and design each day to be as fun as possible, encouraging children to learn, play and explore in a place they can feel safe and secure. All activities are planned around the children's interests and stage of development, and the team recognise that there is no one approach to childcare. There is a space for everyone at the nursery, including quiet areas for the youngest visitors, and dedicated play areas for whatever children love to do that day.

On site there is a qualified chef who prepares nutritional snacks and meals using fresh ingredients each day. The kitchen team are happy to cater for any dietary requirements or general preferences, and hope to give children the opportunity to learn about food and try new things.

The best nursery ever. More like a family. My daughter loves it so much.
Even with everything going on they’ve constantly been in touch checking everything is good and sending us activities to do. She is missing nursery and all her friends so much, just hope she gets to come back before going to big
school. Anyone thinking about a nursery chose Nutkins, you won’t be disappointed.

My son has been attending Nutkins for almost three years now. He started out on the fabulous baby unit where he was cared for and nurtured by a wonderful team. He then moved down to the main nursery where he will be until he leaves for school later on in the year. Every single member of staff at the
nursery is amazing and I feel so comfortable leaving my son in their care. They have helped him become a confident and outgoing child and he absolutely loves going there. We will both be very sad when he has to leave, I can’t recommend this nursery highly enough.

My child attends this nursery 3 full days per week and I speak very highly of it and all of its staff. They do such a fabulous job and they are all so lovely.


The difference in my son since starting this nursery 6 months ago is amazing. They have really brought him out of himself and he has fitted

in fabulously. He gets really excited attending on his set days which makes me extremely happy too.


The information I receive on Tapestry is also marvellous as I love seeing my son's learning/development, even when I’m not with him.


The cleanliness of this nursery is also outstanding which is very important to myself and I feel very comfortable and at ease knowing my son is being looked after by these wonderful staff.


The additional activities the children are involved in on a weekly basis that are brought into the nursery like Drama, French etc are also a wonderful added extra.

My daughter started in April as we moved to the area. At her last nursery she would cry every day going, but since she started Nutkins, she waves goodbye without a tear and she asks every night if she’s at Nutkins again in the morning. Her confidence has grown so much, she’s met lots of friends and
her speech has come on amazingly. The staff are brilliant with her, it’s spacious and a huge garden and my daughter loves it. I recommend this place to everyone, it’s amazing.

Absolutely a fantastic nursery. Watched my son grow and develop so much since going there. Staff are brilliant. Will miss it when my son starts school in September, but the nursery have done so much to help in his development that he is ready for it. Would recommend to anyone as the best nursery in

Both my children went to this nursery, my eldest now being in reception at school. She still talks about how much she misses it a year on! The staff are amazing and my youngest says they are her best friends. Absolutely amazing nursery!

I cannot speak more highly about Nutkins Nursery. My three-year-old son was diagnosed with type one diabetes in January. The support from all at Nutkins has been amazing. the owner is massively hands on and has had training alongside her staff to help manage his diabetes when at nursery. She has listened
and showed compassion, whilst doing all she can to make sure my son is safe, happy and well looked after. In turn, this allows me to go to work, safe in the knowledge that he is being well cared for.
My son’s key worker is a joy and constantly keeps me updated via the Tapestry app with regards his progress, alongside all other members of staff.
Also, the chef at Nutkins again is fabulous, it has been a challenge as they need to count all my son's carbs but she has dealt with this head on and continues to create healthy nutritious food that he loves!
I feel very lucky that my son gets to go to such a great place.
Thank you Nutkins for being amazing!

All 3 of my children have attended Nutkins and all 3 have had the best experiences. The whole team are always smiling and friendly and are always happy to speak to you about anything. I trust the staff 100% with my children and they have all given my boys the best start to their life creating friendships,
enhancing their learning before school and showing them care and love.

2 of my 3 children have been to this nursery, my youngest still being there. The staff are incredible and my son loves going! I feel at ease knowing he is in the best hands he could be. They do so much to help develop his learning and I’d recommend to anyone.

My daughter has attended Nutkins for a year now and she has come on leaps and bounds. At a previous nursery, she would hate going and was so unsettled. But her confidence has grown and she actually looks forward to nursery now and it is down to the caring, attentive staff who work so hard to ensure
all the children thrive. As well as the amazing keyworkers and management, the chef is wonderful too. My once fussy eater has eaten so many new foods and received praise from all areas which has massively boosted her confidence with trying new things and just everything in general. I can not thank Nutkins enough for preparing my daughter for school and for just being a great nursery. 100% recommend.

Our little girl has been at Nutkins since she was a tiny baby and very soon will be going onto primary school. She has flourished and grown into a smart toddler. We will all dearly miss Nutkins and the wonderful staff that have been part of our child's life. Can only leave a review stating that this

My little girl started at Nutkins when she was 11 months old. She's grown and developed so much during her time at the nursery and I feel that the staff are an extended part of our family. Communication from staff is excellent, we are always informed of anything and everything. Our little girl loves
going to nursery which is massive to say as she wouldn't leave my side! They've supported her development massively and I couldn't wish for a better nursery. I only wished she never had to leave!

My son goes to this nursery and has recently transitioned downstairs. When he was in the baby unit, the staff were absolutely amazing with him. Nothing was too much trouble and you can see the care and effort they put into their work. My son built a special relationship with his key worker and I am
very thankful for every bit of time they have put into helping my son grow into the boy he is becoming. Also, staff downstairs are amazing. Always friendly and there’s always something new and exciting going on for him. Couldn’t wish for a better nursery for my son to be at.

My son went to Nutkins after previously going to an awful nursery that has since closed down. When we went to look round, the staff were very welcoming. After choosing Nutkins my son has settled in brilliantly. He still likes being with all the staff but loves playing with his friends and wants to
go to Nutkins at the weekend.
All the staff are very professional and nothing is to much trouble. I cannot recommend them enough. My son starts school in September and we're going to miss our Nutkins family.
All staff are on hand if you have worries or concerns. A massive thank you to all the staff.
The children even do french, science club and yoga.
My son always speaks about group time.

My littleness boy started at Nutkins when he was 6 months old, he's grown and developed so much during his time at the nursery and I feel that the staff are an extended part of our family. Communication from staff is excellent, we are always informed of anything and everything. Our little boy loves

Nutkins offers an amazing nursery, that goes above and beyond just looking after the children. They offer a family environment, in which each and every child is looked after individually, by staff who are caring and offer a personal and nurturing attitude. Communication is fantastic with parents and
there is always an open (and welcoming) door policy if there is anything that you would like to discuss, they cannot do enough for the children to make sure they are happy and secure. The owner and the staff don't just look after the children, they look after the families too, and I have no hesitation ever dropping my children off there. I couldn't recommend enough.
