Partou Little People Day Nursery & Pre-school provides high-quality childcare in Burnley for children aged nought to five-years-old.

The nursery provides children with a safe and supportive environment where they are can learn, play and grow in a nursery that’s full of fun. The nursery has a fun and secure outdoor area, where children are encouraged to play every day, whatever the weather.

The Little People team are highly qualified, experienced and have first aid training so families know their children are in competent, caring hands.

Nursery staff have undergone enhanced DBS checks and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The nursery chef freshly prepares all of the nursery’s nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day. The seasonal menu can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

My daughter started in September 2017 she has learnt how to communicate with children her age but even more with other people. When she first started she was a shy and quiet she has come out of her shell her speech has come on a lot and she has learnt so much from being there and the staff are lovely.
She is going to miss everyone when she leaves in July

In the last 12 months, I’ve watched my son flourish here. He’s fit and well not only with the other children but with staff too.


I tell my family and mummy friends of everything he does and how much the staff do for him.


He has become a polite yet funny character that the staff can’t wait to

help him all the more.

I have sent two children to this nursery and I can not praise the staff enough for the care they provide. All of the staff are so approachable, friendly and at all times professional. My daughter is a very shy girl however she thrives at nursery and loves going. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Deciding on your nursery is a very personal process. You have to be truly comfortable and confident with your choice. For myself and my husband, choosing the Little People Private Day Nursery Burnley on Piccadilly Road, was a very easy choice to make.
When we went to visit (without warning as was the
suggestion from many fellow mothers when visiting any nursery, we found the staff members attentive, the children happy and the building clean. Security measures were implemented as soon as we entered the building. Before we were allowed into the nursery area itself, this was a huge positive for us. We were given a tour of the facilities and found everything to be how we hoped, open, learning opportunities everywhere and staff on hand when needed.
To this day, I am confident with the choice we made and was glad when I didn’t need to move my children’s nursery through a job change. I couldn’t imagine them going to any other nursery now, they adore all the staff and I’m pretty bowled over by them too.

I had 3 nurseries to decide between and 1 is directly across from where I live. However, I'd chosen Little People’s, Burnley, the reason for that is simple. The staff are excellent, some have been there since my younger brother went, and they still remember him to this day. This is a good example which
shows the passion and attentiveness of the staff. My son has come on leaps and loves going to nursery, it may not be the biggest or the fanciest but for me, it’s not that which matters for your child, it’s the staff. The meals are healthy and sound delicious, my son eats nearly everything on offer and if not they will make him something he does like. The staff take time to talk and engage with parents and let them know what their child's day has been filled with, rather than just a simple sign and goodbye. They make you feel welcome and reassured and most of all they make my son happy and content.

This nursery is absolutely amazing. They help all the children that attend in many different aspects of learning and will go the extra mile to help a child/ren who are struggling a bit more than others. My son has been going to this nursery for over 2 years now and I must say he loves going there. The staff are really kind and very caring and always have a smile on there faces. They always keep you up to date with activities he has been doing. I would highly recommend this nursery for your pre school

Since my two daughters have started at the nursery they have loved it, made lots of new friends and fitted in perfectly well. As we've just done a big move from our hometown to Burnley, it can be quite daunting but thanks to the staff who are brilliant and extremely friendly. You'll have lots of fun
when my little boy starts in September. Brilliant nursery, brilliant staff!

Since my child has started here could not be more happier. All children's safety is No1 recently decorated, clean and tidy and friendly staff. Up to date reviews on child progression. Any concern's all staff on hand to help. Would highly recommend either for working parents or even just as a nursery

Little People Private Day Nursery is an amazing nursery, my little girl has been going to this nursery since 2015 and has grown up so much and this nursery has helped her to become her own little person as well as teaching her numbers, letters, colours and she has started talking early. This is not
a nursery where kids come to play but is educational as well. My little girl is smart and I have Little People Private Day Nursery to thank for that. Best nursery in my eye.

I am very happy to send my little one to this nursery. My daughter enjoys herself and I know she is well looked after and enjoys eating at nursery.
She can be fussy with her food but at nursery, she is known to eat 3 portions of her lunch!
Whenever I need to talk about my daughter to the staff they
are always very approachable and happy to help.
My two elder children attended this nursery also - they loved it too.
