Both my son and daughter have been going to Playdor Nursery for almost 2 years now. Previous to this they were at a nursery where they were both unhappy, making it extra difficult to leave them for the day.
From the first day of this nursery they have both absolutely loved it, establishing relationships
and connections straight away - it has a feeling of 'from home to home'.
I find it hard to put trust into strangers, but all the staff at this nursery have made me feel so at ease with putting my trust into each and every one of them, they are amazing, kind caring and compassionate! Unlike some nurseries, they will only call if necessary - and then you know something isn't right - our previous nursery would call every 2 minutes and send them home at the drop of a hat!
My children have moved from babies into toddlers and into pre-school and I can only highly recommend every room they have been in!
Thank you for caring for my children like they are your own.

My daughter had been at Playdor Nursery for almost the last two years. She absolutely loves going to nursery, the staff are fantastic and it’s just a lovely place for your child to learn and grow. My eldest daughter also went to Playdor some thirteen years ago! I would highly recommend for babies, toddlers
and preschool children and wouldn’t have wanted to send my girls anywhere else.

My son absolutely loves coming to Playdor Nursery School. He attends one day a week and he thoroughly enjoys going. The food is nutritious and healthy and I know he is cared for to the highest level as the staff are worth their weight in gold. Thank you Playdor Nursery

Can not recommend this nursery enough. My little boy started in the baby room and will soon be ready to go into the preschool room. We love every single one of the staff members. They all treat and look after my baby like their own. When he started in the baby room, he got referred and put onto the
ASD pathway and I can honestly say I don’t know what I’d do without all of their advice and answering all my questions. He has now been diagnosed with autism and I am kept very up to date with everything that’s happening, with his learning plan and advice on what I can introduce at home to help. Feel very at ease when he’s on his inhalers at nursery as I know he’s in the best place! He has come on so much since starting at Playdor Chorley. I get so many updates with what he’s up to during the day which I love! They set up so many specific activities to help my little boy get involved and he loves the food!
I would recommend Playdor Chorley to everybody! We love you!

My daughter is in the baby room and is really enjoying it. All the ladies are so good with her and are always doing different things to help her develop. My son also went to Playdor and each room were so good with him. They have the children's needs as the absolute focus of everything. We get regular
nursery-based updates and have a chance to be involved if they ask for the children to be dressed up or taking books or toys in. The chance to do payable extra activities like swimming, sports and drama is really good too.

Fantastic nursery, my little girl loves going and has progressed so much since being there. I really feel 100% happy with leaving my child in their care. The staff are friendly helpful and informative.

Excellent nursery. My daughter has settled in so fast and the staff are amazing. My daughter has an allergy and they have been so accommodating and helpful with regards to this. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

When my daughter started at 2 and she was extremely shy and clingy and I was nervous to start her at nursery. When she joined, one member of staff, in particular, was amazing with her and would soon settle her and get a smile out of her within seconds of me leaving. Her confidence started to grow and
when she moved up to preschool her confidence continued. Whoever opens the door, she now goes in happy and waving like a totally different child! I cannot thank all the girls so much for bringing my child out of her shell!
She comes home every day full of stories of what she has been up to, especially staff painting her feet to make Christmas cards and all the drawings and paintings she requests to do daily isn't a problem!
We now have the issue she gets in the car and doesn't want to come home nursery is that much fun!
They care and look after the children like their own! Couldn't pick a better nursery.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My little boy has attended since he was 9 months old and he is now 2 and a half years old. The staff are so caring and loving towards the children. The ideas and thought that go into the activities which are set up are amazing. All staff follow the children's
interests and there are clear links made from home. I love getting daily updates on the parent app and the staff respond to my updates from home too. My little boy loves going to Playdor! A big thank you to the staff from the toddler room - you guys are incredible EYFS practitioners!

My daughter absolutely loves going to Playdor, I found when I went to look around initially, this place stood out to me as it had the most family-type feel which is exactly what I wanted. All the staff go above and beyond and you can tell they really care about the children.
From baby, to toddler
room and now pre-school - my daughter has come on so much with her confidence and vocabulary and she has the most amazing imagination. I am so grateful to all of the team here. I am also really looking forward to my other daughter starting in September.
If you want to have peace of mind that your children are going to be really well looked after and are going to learn whilst having so much fun, I could not recommend Playdor more. All the staff are fantastic.

Playdor is home at nursery with home-cooked healthy meals and lovely staff who are always happy, warm and welcoming, they're always happy to listen and support with any concerns. There are small numbers of children so it's not too overwhelming. They encourage a lot of learning via play and focused on
children being children. From day one my little one was happy to go to staff and wanted to join in. The staff have really got to know my little one and they give hugs and encouragement where needed, also one-to-one with a key worker who they really build a bond with. I'm very happy and would recommend a visit.

This is a lovely nursery. It's not too big so the children aren't overwhelmed and are given enough individual attention. My son has been going here since January 2021 and has been well looked after in toddlers and is now in pre-school. He has extra needs and staff have worked tirelessly to get a plan
in for him ready for school. All the staff are amazing but his keyworker had been amazing in developing his speech and his social skills and has had endless patience with him. He loves going here and just runs in when we drop him off.
They've held stay-and-play days and also have an app so you can see what they've done in the day. I fully recommend this nursery and I know my son will be sad to leave when he starts school in September.

We can not say enough about this nursery, both my children attend and have a blast. Every member of staff is kind, caring, nurturing and attentive. My daughter's key worker knows her so well and draws on her skills to help her feel confident to learn. My son's key work spent time getting to know us
as a family prior to him starting and provides him with the space to grow.
The nursery cook is also amazing catering to my son's additional needs making sure he still has a varied diet and helping him feel included.
Both children are thriving due to the nursery and it's so reassuring they are in safe hands while we both have to work. The nursery's indoor and outdoor spaces cater for small imaginations. We love this nursery and every member of staff who work with our family.

Playdor Nursery School Chorley is an excellent nursery. All the staff are great with the children, everyone is really friendly, professional and approachable. My little boy loves going there and has progressed so well since starting there. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for

Absolutely amazing staff here at Playdor Nursery School Chorley. I was so very anxious and worried about my son starting there in September 2021 but the staff made me feel calm and explained everything to me and looked after my little boy like he was their own kid. They taught my son fantastic things
and made learning fun for him. He absolutely loved going there. They're very attentive to your child's needs and to my needs as a parent too. Many a time I've been worried about something and they would listen and chat to me like I was a friend. They made me and my son feel very safe and welcome. Would highly recommend this nursery to just about every single person I know! Just an amazing little family setting that is just fantastic. I didn't want my son to leave to go to school. I wanted him to keep going. Very good there and just so thankful for all they have done for me and my son.

The staff in the baby room are the biggest strength, they have been welcoming and responsive to my daughter's needs. There is a homely feel to the setting, this along with the secure relationships she has built with the staff has meant that my daughter has settled well and is very happy when I drop
her off and collect her each day. My daughter has made significant improvements in her eating (which has previously been a cause for concern) and overall development since starting at Playdor, each member of staff (including the chef) has gone above and beyond to help my daughter.

Playdor Nursery School is a great nursery, both of my children attended and they were so well looked after and genuinely enjoyed going there.
The nursery has a real family feel to it and my children developed lovely bonds with their key workers and other staff.
Food options were excellent as were
the daily activities and little outings.

My granddaughter attends Playdor Nursery School Chorley and is in the preschool class, she has attended the nursery since the baby class, 1-year-old. The staff are all positive influences to all the children and are so attentive to their needs, the children are so happy to be there my granddaughter
runs into nursery and is always clean and tidy when I pick her up. The staff are helping with speech and potty training. Even though I'm the grandma the staff treat me as a parent when I drop her off and pick her up, the staff ensure they have good relationships with parents/grandparents as well as the children. The staff will go out of their way to make sure the children's needs are met and happy.
