It has a well qualified professional team that have built up an excellent reputation for their standard of childcare.

Funding & Fees Guide for Cavendish Lodge Day Nursery

  • Sessions: 8am to 1pm & 1pm to 6pm are charged at £38/session.
    8am to 6pm is charged at £66/session.
    Early starts can be arranged from 7:30am, please call to discuss your requirements.

  • Free Hours/Places for children 2-4 years (Subject to criteria), we also offer a Before and After School Care to Local Primary School and Holiday Club in School Holidays.
    Please contact us for the latest prices.
    We have a number of Sessions available to meet/match our parent's requirements.
    We do not charge for Bank Holidays or any defined days that we are closed (Normally around Christmas).

My daughter was nervous about starting at Cavendish Lodge and I was too but they have really made my daughter settle in well. She has now got loads of confidence and is thriving in her learning. She sing counts and her talking has come on lots since she started here. All the staff are lovely and I would
recommend this nursery to everyone with children.

I have two children who attend this nursery daily from the minute they stepped through the door they have done nothing but thrive in this setting. Their social and language skills have improved immensely. They absolutely adore all the staff who always greet them with a big smile every day. The nursery
itself is visually stimulating even from the main entrance. Anyone who ever asks me for recommendations for a nursery will always be told Cavendish Lodge Day Nursery/ 1st Safari.

My child loves the staff there. They are always welcoming when dropping off my child.


The inside is extremely visually simulating, the moment walking through the gates you can tell the nursery is very well looked after.


The staff at Cavendish Lodge always seem to be working hard to keep activities

fresh. There seems to be lots of toys and resources available, he always wants to bring toys home!


The outdoor play area is the reason my child joined, the play areas are very large and are safe and secure with lots of equipment for him to play with.


When picking up my child he doesn't want to leave.

My nephew goes to Cavendish Lodge and is really happy there. When picking him up he always wants to tell me his stories for the day and show me this work of the day.


He loves the animals there and will talk about them to anyone who listens.


This is a fantastic place.

My Goddaughter has recently started here and she loves it, when I pick her up she always has a fantastic smile on her face and they provide me with great feedback about the day she had with them. Lots of great learning and development goes on here as all the time she is picking new things up from what
she has done at nursery.
The staff did a fantastic job! The nursery to be at.

Staff are friendly and I feel the nursery is excellent. I feel like my daughter has picked up a lot since starting.
The outdoor is good and she enjoys it.
All meals are good.

At first, I was worried about my child settling in but Cavendish Lodge and all the staff helped him settle into nursery really well. He loves coming into nursery each and every day.
It's hard to try and get him to come home from all the fin activities which they provide.

I have two children and both suffer with social anxiety. They both have settled extremely well and have received immense support from the staff at Cavendish Lodge, especially the two senior members of staff. Both children have gone through massive changes at home with their dad moving out of the house,
however, the staff at Cavendish have made sure this hasn't affected their education or development. The staff are great and beyond incredible.

This nursery is fantastic. My son loves it.
We were nervous of him not settling in, but this nursery has definitely taken the worry/pressure away.
He has come along leaps and bounds.

This nursery is an incredible nursery. My twin grandchildren attend and have come on really well with speech and learning numbers, colours etc.
The staff are excellent and friendly and always happy to help. They get a variety of healthy snacks and enjoy going every day too.
