Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school Dewsbury and their children love playing outside in their science garden, complete with a bug house, compost bins and space for growing plants and veg (don't worry, they'll clean them up before it's time for home!).

They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They also have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children, such as encouraging them to express their feelings and making a difference in the world.

They hold the Green Flag Status Award (the highest possible) in the prestigious Green Flag Eco-schools programme which is an internationally recognised award where children lead the way in making a difference to the environment.

Their ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery and includes photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

They have three bright and spacious rooms; one room for younger children up to two-years-old, one room for two to three-year-olds and a final room for more active three to five-year-olds. All rooms have direct access to the outdoors allowing children to freely move between their rooms and the garden whenever they wish.

My daughter has been attending for almost two years, full-time since she was 9-months-old, now 2. She loves all the staff and other kids, she has built up great relationships with them all.
The food is exceptional, it is varied, high quality, fresh and plenty of it. Definitely no fussy eating in our
house, I credit nursery with it all.
Her key worker has taken on so much feedback and along with the rest of the team work closely with her to develop her skills and confidence. I love the daily updates as to what her and her friends have been up to, when we see the photos it makes my day.
It is nice to have full peace of mind while we are working full-time.
My only wish would be for more outside space, we all dream of our kids running through the green fields and country side, but it is ok and they spend a good amount of time outside.
The price is on the higher side but you get what you pay for and therefore personal to every parent.

My daughter loves this nursey. She is currently in the butterfly classroom and all the children seem to be a very close-knit family. The staff from day one have been able to answer all the questions I had concerns with which put me at ease. My daughter is always happy going in and happy when I go to
collect her. Highly recommend as the staff are very dedicated and give thorough feedback of what your child has done throughout the day.

We took a long time choosing a nursery for our daughter and I am so happy that we chose this nursery! Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since going full-time in September. We love the regular updates on her development and when we get photos it makes my day. They have begun teaching phonics
and every day for the last week our daughter has repeatedly said 'I love phonics!' and insists we play schools.

My son has been going to the Co-op Childcare Day Nursery at Dewsbury for six months now. He absolutely loves it! He cannot wait to get in on a morning. He loves all the staff and his development whilst there has been amazing. Being a Covid baby he wasn't really socialised or talking before but he's
coming on leaps and bounds now. I get daily updates of his activity, food, sleep, nappies etc. and regular reviews on his development through the app. It's lovely to see how much fun he has. The nursery have been extremely accommodating changing days etc. and they have coped wonderfully throughout Covid, keeping our babies safe.

My little girl has been going since January 2020 and has built great relationships with her little friends and staff, particularly her key person who has always gone above and beyond for her. She does enjoy coming to nursery and if she ever comes in a little upset I am reassured she has settled whenever
I've phoned to check before starting my working day. If there are any niggles they are dealt with quickly and both key person and management have been so great while working with us for when we thought of a possible allergy.
Would recommend based on how staff alone have made me feel during her time there.

My daughter really enjoys going to nursery and I feel since going it has really helped with her development.
The staff are all lovely and through the app we get updates on what our child has eaten etc. and we are told about observations and next steps which is lovely as it keeps us informed on their

I have been sending my son to this daycare since the age of 4-months and this is the only daycare I would trust with my children. They are friendly, professional and organised. They keep you up to date with what’s going on through the day through their app which is amazing so I don’t need to worry.
My 19-month-old daughter has also joined the nursery and I must express she is a lockdown baby therefore she finds it very difficult to be around new faces. I don’t know how the daycare has done it but she is thoroughly enjoying her time without me there which I must stress I could not even leave my daughter at her grandparents as she would cry all day. Therefore I was very nervous about her starting daycare however they have helped her adjust very well and I can tell she enjoys her time there. I would definitely recommend this daycare to all.

My daughter has been attending nursery since 12 months of age and she is thriving. She is turning into a confident, independent little girl and I have nursery to thank for that. Her speech and understanding and general development far exceeds what she should be doing at her age and I believe nursery
allows her to have that social interaction which would be lacking at home. The staff are very attentive towards her and know how to engage her in tasks and activities. Where do they get the energy from! I love the app that gives you frequent updates on how she is doing during the day and the staff always have time to provide daily feedback. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery and they should be congratulated on providing a high level of service to the babies and children they serve. Keep up the excellent work.

My daughter really enjoys nursery. Her teachers always give us an update on what she's been up to and anything specific that they've noticed her doing. From seeing what she's eaten, she's fed well. I can tell from picking her up she's had a productive day and she looks forward to going back to nursery
the next day to play with her friends.

Amazing nursery and amazing staff, two of my children have been to this nursery; one has left now for school and I'm hoping to put my youngest one in next. I honestly couldn't ask for anywhere better. My children love/loved it, it's clean well presented the staff are lovely. Good communication between
staff and families, I don't worry when leaving my children in their hands, I know they are safe and any problems they ring me. The food is all homemade which the kids love.
After the year we have had I honestly can't thank the nursery enough they have gone above and beyond for the children and the parents.
Massive thank you.
Highly recommend.

Welcoming and warm nursery. My son has been going there since 2 years old. He absolutely loves going there and always comes back happy! Staff are professional, friendly and loving! They really care for my son and feedback is given daily either face to face or through the app.
My son and my family
will miss Co-op Childcare Dewsbury as the pre-school team have been amazing with him! Also the cook is brilliant too as the nursery provides various healthy meals.

They took my child in on short notice and have been amazing with him. He loves it there and is really thriving. The staff definitely give me the feeling that they genuinely care about him and his well-being. I really love that they tailor the curriculum to his likes. He’s definitely a more adventurous
eater there than at home, but, on days when he doesn’t take a liking to much of what’s on offer, they always make sure they give him seconds of the things that he does like. It’s overall a great environment for him and the staff are genuinely amazing.
The administration staff is also excellent. Always clear and concise communication and have no problems at all answering any queries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.

I highly recommend this nursery, the staff are amazing and go above and beyond in their profession of childcare. Since my daughter started here in December 2020 she settled into nursery instantly, made an instant connection with her key person and the other staff in the room. My daughter loves going
to nursery and this makes me and my wife feel at ease when going to work, knowing she is in great hands. The staff take the time to ask about my daughters interests at home and they then create fun activities for her to do in nursery. The nursery serve up some lovely food which my daughter really enjoys. Once again, highly recommend and I wouldn't want my daughter to go anywhere else!

My daughter has recently started preschool after being at the nursery since she was ten months old. In this time, the thing that strikes me the most is the dedication of the staff to providing a nurtured baby and toddler room environment. Now she is in the preschool there is more focus on independence
yet the support is still very dedicated. The environment is inviting and safety has been at the top of the agenda during the pandemic. It's amazing what variety of food my daughter will eat at nursery from curry to pies, their cook must work magic as she won't eat them for me. Of course all of these things are of upmost importance but there is also a very experienced management team whom are always happy to help. I already recommended a friend and wouldn't hesitate in doing so again.

A wonderful nursery with dedicated staff. Both my children have attended here and both have flourished. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond; they are always available to help and support. This nursery has it all; brilliant staff, a great indoor and outdoor setting, age-appropriate activities
and a fantastic, varied food menu. I highly recommend.

My eldest child attended this nursery, and my youngest is still there; it is lovely. The staff are amazing, and they are still mostly the same as when my now 8-year-old went there. Very welcoming, and both boys love going. Food is amazing by the smell lol. Really great place.
