Fixbees Day Care has been an established early years setting since 1993. It offers a warm and homely environment and caters for children from birth to five years old.

Fixbees prides itself on offering a high standard of care where staff are both passionate and knowledgeable in early years care.

Staff ensure they work in very close partnership with parents and carers and their practices are kept to an optimum level in regard to care, quality and health and safety. Staff engage with families well and they support them in all their home learning, social events and outings.

Fixbees Day Care has 2-year-old 15 hours of free childcare available for eligible families, government funding for 3 & 4-year-olds and also 30 hours funding for working parents.

Children are given lots of opportunity to get creative in the outdoors, with woodwork, loose parts play and caring for the fruit and vegetables which are grown every year.

Adopting the curiosity approach, the team encourage children's natural curiosity by promoting engagement with everyday items rather than modern toys and technology.

Menus are planned in house and children, parents and staff are actively involved in this process. Good quality, fresh, wholesome ingredients are used to prepare meals. The nursery supports local suppliers where reasonably practical and cater for a variety of special diets.

    Under 3's: Full time (Monday - Friday) £300 / Full Day £63 / Half Day £37,
    Over 3's: Full time (Monday - Friday) £295 / Full Day £62 / Half Day £36,
    Hourly Rate £8.

  • Morning session - 7:30am - 12:30pm / Afternoon session - 1:00pm - 6:00pm. They offer 15 Hours funding for two and three year olds and 30 hours funding for 3-4 year olds.
    Fully Funded 30 hours places are subject to a sundries charge of £1.50 per hour
    For example 23 hours £34.50 10 hours £15.

Brilliant nursery. Staff is very friendly and helpful with everything. My daughter start when she was 15 months old and she settled really well in baby room. All the staff and management are very supportive. My daughter grown so much in confidence since she start Fixbees Nursery.They have lots of activities
during day to challenge children. I highly recommend Fixbees Nursery.

Like to take this time out to say hats off to all the staff that has supported me and my son, they have been amazing with everything, lovely polite respectful staff and I love the feedback I get at the end of the day, my son has come on leaps since attending Fixbees Nursery, we both grateful for everything
they do for us, there learning journey is amazing and set ups are great very inviting, the whole team including management are amazing.

Visited several places before this nursery and felt it was the right one almost immediately. The staff have been very friendly and supportive throughout our child's time at Fixbees. Plenty of opportunities to be creative and developed this will be a positive step before reception we feel our child will
be prepared for this next chapter thanks to the team. An excellent nursery would be easily recommended.

Outstanding nursery. My son has been here for 18 months he has lived every moment of it. The staff are brilliant everything they do is amazing. Thank you for being fantastic. My son has just come to the end of his time at Fixbees and we've had a brilliant experience. He settled in quickly and has always been happy to go in every morning. The children do a huge range of activities and learn lots of different skills. The staff evidently care very much about the kids and form
great attachments. We are so sad to be leaving Fixbees behind but we feel confident sending our son to school knowing he's had the best start in preschool.

Very happy with Fixbees - all the staff are lovely and very hands-on and caring.
Management is super supportive and always available for feedback and a general listening ear.
My daughter has come on leaps and bounds with her development, and when I drop her off in the morning, I feel content knowing

I am a father of twins and really struggled with finding a nursery, through speaking to and visiting many, Fixbees stood out by a mile, a lot of nurseries had a minimum threshold in terms of sessions and gave the sense of being all business-orientated whereas with Fixbees it felt like family from the
moment we came to visit to every day we drop our little ones off. I do not have enough nice words, all the staff are amazing from the staff that look after our little ones to the cook. I could not recommend this nursery enough and would not look elsewhere. They made a daunting experience into a pleasurable one. Their facilities are amazing with ample outdoor space and in brighter months they offer to take children outside of the nursery grounds. They respect all parent's wishes and accommodate as best as they can, they are truly all about the children which is exactly what we were after. They also have an amazing menu for breakfast, lunch, snacks etc and offer halal which was a huge positive.

My son has been attending Fixbees for the last 2 years and we have been very happy with the care given to him. The staff are very friendly and my son enjoys his time in nursery. They were supportive during his toilet training as well. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been going to Fixbees since he was eight months old and it's safe to say he loves it here! The team are outstanding and really takes the time to get to know your child. My son is always smiling when he arrives and leaves and that's because of the nurturing environment Fixbees provides. We
visited a few other nurseries before deciding on Fixbees in 2022 and chose to go with Fixbees after seeing how happy the children already there were.


My son is now a toddler and still attends Fixbees, it's amazing to watch his personality and confidence grow, he has come on leaps and bounds with his speech and skills thanks to the play and learning activities provided by Fixbees. It's lovely to see what he has been up to via the parent portal and we always receive a full debrief of his day when we pick him up.


I would highly recommend Fixbees Nursery.

Honestly the best nursery I ever decided to send my child to. My child started here at 1 year old and worked his way up to Tweenies room and pre-school now. I have seen such a difference in my child's speech and he honestly wakes up every day saying he wants to go to nursery. One happy child, one happy
mother.


The staff are amazing and so helpful in any question I have. I always get a review of my child's day, toilet trips and dinner. Thank you Fixbees nursery. Highly recommend.

Andrea has been based in our sister nursery as a Deputy Manager since 2012, she has recently moved to Fixbees taking on the Manager role here.

Andrea loves helping out in all rooms with different-aged children. She is a kind and caring person always ensuring everyone's best interest.


Andrea has a degree with Honours in Early Years Education as well as qualifications in leadership and management. Also Level 3 Early Years SENCO.

Sarah Bent

Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager

Joined: 2008

Sarah is a bright, enthusiastic and caring individual who has a wealth of experience working with early years children of all ages from babies to our Preschool children. Sarah started first at Birkbees Day Care and in 2010 moved to Fixbees and took on the role of Deputy Manager, a role for which she is highly respected. Since joining the nursery Sarah has started her own family and is a proud mum to two lovely little boys.
