Little Angels Day Nursery has been operating as a childcare nursery for 20 years and is widely recognised as providing excellent childcare in Huddersfield.

Shine are always looking at ways to incorporate the latest developments in early years learning and development and as such, the highly trained team continually focus on meeting children's specific needs, interests and abilities – socially, physically and emotionally.

Shine base their curriculum around the needs and interests of each child in order to motivate and inspire their learning whilst developing their independence.

Interaction between the staff and the children are seen as paramount to support the development of communication and language – an important pre-requisite for reading and writing.

Furthermore, challenging activities encourage the children to engage in deep level thinking – supporting conceptual development in areas such as maths, science and nature. Through projects, themes and stories, Shine support children’s cultural awareness and knowledge of the world around them.

Little Angels are proud to ensure that children are more than ready when it is time to move onto school and recognise the importance of this significant time and use transition sessions to help them to be fully prepared.

The nursery has also made strong links with many local schools to facilitate this process. Many of the children stay with the nursery, taking advantage of the out of school and holiday club which also helps to ease this transitional period.

Managers and senior staff are available to arrange visits and show rounds and are happy to answer any questions.

  • From £58.00 per day (full time) We also have full day sessions and half day sessions available, morning or afternoon. In addition provide funded sessions for 2, 3 and 4 year old children. We also have a before and after school and holiday club option.

This nursery is a great place to take your kids, they are kind, caring and accommodate yours and your child's needs, the staff are amazing and really polite and caring if I were to recommend a nursery to anyone Little Angels Day Nursery is the one I would recommend.

I can’t recommend Little Angels Day Nursery highly enough. My son has been at this placement since he was 1 year old and is soon to be going to school. He has enjoyed every minute at nursery and will miss it and the staff dearly. He has made so many friends and his confidence has grown and grown. My
son enjoys telling me about all the fun things he has done and the lovely meals he has eaten. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is always lots going on and the children enjoy both indoor and outdoor play.

My daughter has been going to Little Angels Day Nursery for about 2 years now, they are absolutely amazing with her and her needs, they have been a massive help to me when I couldn't get any help from anywhere else, I would recommend them to anyone they are brill, the staff are lovely and my daughter

Absolutely amazing! I have been using Little Angels Day Nursery and Out of School Club for almost two years now for my and 8 year old boys. All of the staff are absolutely wonderful, friendly and kind. My two little boys are always coming home telling me what they’ve been up to and how much fun they’ve
had and they always look forward to going every day! Every single staff member at Little Angels is wonderful and I can’t thank them enough for everything they do! My little ones and me are extremely happy here

All the staff are very friendly, very welcoming! Always happy to help with any questions or queries you have. My children came when they received 2 year funding and now I’ve put them back in as I’ve recently started working! Wouldn’t put them anywhere else.

I cannot speak highly enough of Little Angels; the staff and facilities are brilliant, and clearly the best we came across in Huddersfield.
The staff are attentive, and clearly build personal relationships with the children, whilst the facilities stimulate the children and aids in development.
My
daughter has been attending for some months now, and her talking and social skills have come on leaps and bounds; something that we were previously worried about being impacted due to covid, but they really have brought my daughter out of her shell.
All I can say is that from my experience and from talking with other parents we know with children at Little Angels, if you can get your child/children in at Little Angels then don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it, and your little ones will thank you for it!

This nursery is absolutely wonderful. I wouldn’t send my children anywhere else! My daughter has never lacked for anything and has always bonded with all the workers. She has food allergies and it’s never been an issue at all as they always make sure she has everything she needs or could want to ensure
she’s included. Hand overs are always so informative and encouraging. Any time I’ve had a query it’s been answered or dealt with asap. Well done to the Manager you have a wonderful team!

My little girl has been going to Little Angels Day Nursery since 11 months old, since starting there she has developed in so many ways. All the staff are friendly and very good at what they do! The Manager is always around and very approachable if you have any issues or concerns. My daughter has a dairy
intolerance and the nursery have adapted to her needs when it comes to her meals. The key person who works in the Baby room is so welcoming and my little girl gets so excited to see her every morning. Love this nursery and would highly recommend it.

My daughter has been attending Little Angels since April this year. She enjoys it so much and its wonderful to hear what fun and educational activities shes been doing each day. The staff are excellent, my daughter adores the team, especially her key worker and its so lovely seeing her face light up
when she spots her through the door.
I would recommend Little Angels to anyone.

Great nursery, great staff. My child has progressed great amounts in 9 months of being at this nursery, I would recommend this nursery to anyone. The communication between parent and staff is also very good. Very happy with my choice of nursery.

My husband and I are very satisfied with the care provided to our daughter (age 3) whilst at Little Angels. Our eldest daughter came here too and we didn’t think twice about using the same nursery again. The staff provide good updates on her day (play, friendships, meals) and are responsive to any requests
we have. I can ring any time to check she’s ok (incase off colour or if an issue comes up). The staff and manager go above and beyond to ensure she is happy, safe and progressing against developmental milestones. It really is the little things that make a difference, for example, the staff helped make a card when it was my husbands 40th birthday as a surprise which our daughter was so proud to give him. This week she has recited the Gingerbread Man story (it’s her favourite) and so without asking the staff invited her and a few friends into the kitchen to make gingerbread men! She has fun whilst there and is progressing really well. I am happy with the Covid secures in place.

Summer out of school club, a fabulous place that was recommended to me. Trying to find a holiday club to suit both my boys with a 5 year age difference. I felt so at ease with all my questions put towards the manager, within no time the boys were in and settled. I was at work worrying about their long
day but they came home with smiles telling me about the cinema, eating popcorn and then t-shirt painting in the afternoon and their trips to castle hill and the parks.
They look forward to going and having to try new things and new adventures.
I now don't have to worry about the holidays. To the manager and a great team a big thank you.

My daughter started nursery in January 2020. The staff are so amazing, kind and friendly. They have helped my daughter settle in pretty fast. My little girl absolutely loves going there. I will also be sending my son here when he's older. Honestly, it's the best nursery.

My little girl has attended Little Angels Day Nursery and Out of School Club from August 2020 which was in the middle of the pandemic. The initial meeting I had with the manager put me at ease with all the safety measures they had put in place. The nursery had also come highly recommended to me as
both my nephews attended so gave me confidence that this was a great nursery. All the staff have been great especially my little girls key worker. My daughter would smile when she saw her and was happy when dropping her off so I knew that my daughter was being looked after and cared for one hundred percent. They have also been really accommodating with extra days I might need so I can work extra if needed. Can't recommend enough. Big thank you to everyone at Little Angels Day Nursery and Out of School Club.

I honestly can’t speak highly enough about this nursey the whole team are amazing. My first initially meeting with the manager really put me at ease, I was so worried about leaving my little one for the first time, but she knew exactly how I was feeling and reassured me all the way. The settling in
period is a daunting time for any parent and in the first few weeks of my little one attending I rang every day to check how they were, and the staff always gave me an update and reassured me further, now my little one is settled and they absolutely love attending, they are so eager to get inside I no longer get a “bye-bye”. The staff are always helpful and friendly but most of all I can get on with my day and know my child is in safe hands.

Both of my children have attended Little Angels Day Nursery and Out of School Club and the care is second to none. My little boy is in the toddler room and my little girl attends the holiday club during the school holidays. Both absolutely love going and have developed into confident, outgoing and happy

My son started at this nursery in November. He comes home everyday saying what an amazing day he has had. His learning skills have come on leaps and bounds. All the staff are so welcoming and polite. Changing nurseries for my son was the best decision we made. The manager was really helpful with guiding
us in the right direction with all the information we needed and is always keeping us updated with the information needed. The manager is always happy to help no matter what and will always go out of her way to help and for that we are very thankful. The nursery go above and beyond for the children as well as helping and being there for us as parents.
