Little Angels Day Nursery has been operating as a childcare nursery for 20 years and is widely recognised as providing excellent childcare in Huddersfield.

Shine are always looking at ways to incorporate the latest developments in early years learning and development and as such, the highly trained team continually focus on meeting children's specific needs, interests and abilities – socially, physically and emotionally.

Shine base their curriculum around the needs and interests of each child in order to motivate and inspire their learning whilst developing their independence.

Interaction between the staff and the children are seen as paramount to support the development of communication and language – an important pre-requisite for reading and writing.

Furthermore, challenging activities encourage the children to engage in deep level thinking – supporting conceptual development in areas such as maths, science and nature. Through projects, themes and stories, Shine support children’s cultural awareness and knowledge of the world around them.

Little Angels are proud to ensure that children are more than ready when it is time to move onto school and recognise the importance of this significant time and use transition sessions to help them to be fully prepared.

The nursery has also made strong links with many local schools to facilitate this process. Many of the children stay with the nursery, taking advantage of the out of school and holiday club which also helps to ease this transitional period.

Managers and senior staff are available to arrange visits and show rounds and are happy to answer any questions.

  • From £58.00 per day (full time) We also have full day sessions and half day sessions available, morning or afternoon. In addition provide funded sessions for 2, 3 and 4 year old children. We also have a before and after school and holiday club option.

Our daughter started in September 2020 in the middle of the pandemic, after only being cared for by us. So we were slightly nervous about her joining the baby room but we did not need to worry. The staff have been extremely kind and welcoming, helping us as new parents. Our daughter had settled really
well and enjoyed her days with three of the staff members. Her confidence has grown and she loves playing with everyone.

My son started with Little Angles Day Nursery and Out of School Club when he was three months old and now he is almost four years. Throughout this period, he has been in different rooms of the nursery which are for different age groups. He has enjoyed his stays in all different rooms and as parents
we are extremely happy! The staff are very professional, friendly and most importantly they take really good care of children. They do many activities for kids and my son comes home after learning many new things. The facilities of the nursery is also good, I must say that nursery is following excellent hygienic practices. I would recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a day nursery from the baby room to the preschool.

Little Angels is a wonderful, friendly and welcoming place. My child has been attending since he was a baby and is about to go to secondary school this year. This means that we have experienced him growing up with the care provided by Little Angels, which has been a blessing. They have contributed to
his development over the years and he genuinely loves going there. I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

I'm just happy with management support. A few months ago my son's behaviour at nursery wasn't great, but I just want to say thanks to the management for the support that they gave me during this period. His behaviour is way much better than before. It's all because of the help I got from the nursery.

My daughter has been going to Little Angels since she was 3 years old and she is now 8 and goes to out of school club. I can not recommend this nursery and out of school club enough. The staff are all caring, friendly and easy to talk to should anything need to be discussed. They have handled the current
Covid pandemic with the best positive attitude and really tried to help children and parents where they can and have put every safety measure in place that is possible. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery and after school club to anyone and really feel my child is safe and looked after here.

Little Angels is a lovely nursery. The nursery manager is wonderful, polite and accommodating. Any problems I have had, I know I am able to talk to the manager and she will sort it out professionally and effectively. My child's key child is so caring and always meets my child's needs. They have handled
the covid-19 situation in a good manner, by having signs and sending emails with updates on the matter.

Ok start with 2020. I am very impressed with how the nursery handled Covid-19 situation. I feel really confident to send my daughter in and she absolutely loves it. I struggled with potty training during the lockdown period, and after a couple of weeks back in nursery, with the help of the nursery
staff, my daughter is fully potty trained. My daughter loves all the activities, she is learning singing, colouring. I can't praise this nursery enough. I do have experience with other nurseries as I have an older son, and I am sorry that I didn't know Little Angels Nurser earlier.

Both my children have attended Little Angels from being 6-months-old. Both love attending daily or in my eldest case out of school club. The staff are brilliant and knew the children in and out. Work well with parents to help solve any issues before they become a major problem. I could not imagine sending
my children elsewhere. The manager has been brilliant over the years, and when I have had issues with work shifts, has been very accommodating. I can't speak highly enough of the staff. They are friendly and polite. Also, the food in the words of my kids is amazing and lovely. The out of school clubs appears second to none as well. My eldest begs me to book them in during the holidays; it is worth the money. I would highly recommend the nursery.

My son has been attending Little Angels now for a few months, and I couldn’t be happier with the setup and staff. They have been kind, caring and really helped him settle into the environment; when he found it so overwhelming. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting and loves being there!

Little Angels Huddersfield is a fantastic nursery that I would highly recommend to anyone. I have my son in after school club and my daughter attending here a couple days a week. My son has been with Little Angels since he was 11 months old and is now 6 years old. He looks forward to after school club
and gets along with the staff very well. My daughter who is 19 months is enjoying her time at nursery also. And with no doubt, I know she will be attending Little Angels for a long time.

I have used Little Angels breakfast/after school and holiday club for the last couple of years and I cannot fault the care my daughter has received. The staff are welcoming and the manager is very organised and flexible. I don't think there has been a time where they haven't been able to meet my requests.

My girls have attended Little Angels in one form or another for the past six years. They have attended the Over twos and preschool section and then the out of school club. The nursery has been so flexible to my working patterns and childcare needs over the years. All the staff from the managers right
through to the nursery nurses are lovely, kind and caring. They have gone over and above expectations for my children over the years and I never had to worry about my children. My circumstances have now changed, so we have sadly had to leave them but we will miss the team.

My son started at Little Angels when he was a year old, and is now leaving as he heads to high school in September.
He has had ten fantastic years there, the staff are and have always been wonderful and make every measure to ensure all children are happy.
Over the years they have bent over backwards
to help me out, especially if there is ever an emergency and I can not thank them enough for all they have done.
I would recommend them to anyone... your child couldn’t go to a better nursery.
It is with a heavy heart that my son is leaving.

I am a foster carer and my first placement attended for nearly six months and settled in really well. When I got my second placement I didn’t hesitate for them to attend this nursery.
All the staff are friendly and approachable. The manager was very accommodating and flexible to my specific needs.
I would highly recommend this nursery without hesitation.

My son has been at Little Angles since he was eleven months old, he loves it! The staff I cannot recommend enough - each and every one of them are brilliant with him.
Seeing how my son has grown in confidence and how well, educational wise, he is as well is all down to the staff who teach him.
The
food is brilliant with different choices each day, they always let you know if your child is feeling unwell, also the nursery is very accommodating.
Wouldn't choose any other nursery!

Cannot give this nursery enough recommendation. All members of the staff are so friendly and professional. Our experience so far; has been nothing short of fantastic. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds and settled in so quickly here, and I think that's due to the staff being so welcoming. They
are always happy and smiling, even now during tougher times because of Covid-19.

Thank you to you all! You all work really hard and are very professional. We just know we can trust you with our children’s well-being and learning. I love this nursery! My son has been attending here since 2015, starting at very short notice. The staff are fantastic, truly caring about your child and treat him like their own. At drop off and handover, there is always a friendly face who updates you on events of the day, and it is clear to see the
bond they have with my son.
I never worry about leaving him as I know he is in the best possible hands, and he has grown in confidence and gained so much social skill.
He now attends out of school and holiday club, and I could never imagine sending him anywhere else.
Communication from the top down is fantastic. I also like the social media page, where I can see what he has been getting up to. The manager and her staff are fabulous and always approachable. If they can help, they will.
Best thing I ever did was send him here.

My daughter has attended right through Little Angels starting in the baby room at 8 months old. She has recently started school and is still attending the Before and After School club. I honestly cannot fault the level of care she has received these last years. All the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable
