A wonderful nursery which my little boy loves attending. Plenty of fun activities to do and lots of yummy food to eat. The food has always been a highlight for him!
All the staff are welcoming and it’s nice to see that workers in other rooms interact and know the other children’s names who are not
typically in their room. Only negative is staff do tend to move rooms or leave but I think it’s the same in any nursery. Sometimes it feels as though your child just gets used to a key worker and then they leave or move rooms. Luckily all the other staff do make up for this as like I say all staff know all the children.
We love that they join in with charity days allowing the children to dress up etc. We also love that they let children take a lead with their own interests. E.g a love of dinosaurs so they create a whole section on dinosaurs. Overall a wonderful nursery with polite, friendly and welcoming staff, food is amazing and I always feel my son is safe and happy whilst being there.

My little boy has been attending for about 8 months now, he absolutely loves it and it is very clear to see why!! The place is clean and inviting, the staff are nurturing and friendly, the menus are varied and delicious (even for fussy eaters!) and the activities and experiences offered are stimulating
and fun! My little boy has developed so much since attending so for that, I thank you all! Knowing my little boy is happy makes nursery drop-offs less traumatic for mummy.

My four-year-old is in blue room and my 20-month-old is in pink room and they are both extremely happy at Kaleidoscope. The staff are so lovely and caring, as well as very professional in what they do. The activities that they get involved in are just wonderful and allow the children to really get creative,
without bringing any of the associated mess home! My fussy (at home) four year old not only manages to eat everything that he is given at Kaleidoscope but also regularly ask for seconds.
My nearly two-year-old has been undeniably in love with his key worker from day one and it’s very reassuring to know that he is with is cared for by someone he feels completely at home with.
For environmental reasons, I choose to use cloth nappies rather than disposables and all the staff have completely supported me in this which has meant a lot to me. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to others.

This is my second child at this nursery! I knew straight away that I wanted my daughter to come to the same nursery as her big brother. My daughter has been going since she turned one and she has settled in so well. Everyone made her feel so welcome and looked after. I can’t thank the staff enough for
their loving care towards her. She absolutely loves going to nursery and it is evident from the smiles we get when we pick her up! Keep up the fabulous work Gildersome Kaleidoscope Nursery and thank you!

My eldest son attended here for nearly 3 years before moving to primary school and now my youngest son has been here over a year. It’s a fab nursery by far the best in the area the staff are so nice and always go above and beyond for your children.

My son has been going to Kaleidoscope in Gildersome for 9 months and he loves it, the girls spend so much time with the children and my son has come on leaps and bounds, he's always so excited to go which makes it much easier leaving him all day whilst I go to work. The girls are really good at keeping
me and his dad up to date, sharing what he's been up to on the parent app which is great to see. My son can be a handful (typical boisterous boy) and the girls are so good with him and do a fab job! Would recommend Kaleidoscope Gildersome to everyone.

I wouldn't take my boys to any other nursery but this one, the staff are amazing they are friendly and welcoming and very nurturing towards to the children, the food smells and looks amazing every day, they ensure the children are happy and content. I love this nursery and will be sad when my son leaves
in September to go to full-time school.

My daughter has been attending Kaleidoscope Nursey from the age of 10 months and she has had a great time since day 1! All the staff really care about the children, the nursery is quite small but has a family atmosphere and everyone who works there knows each individual child. The facilities and activities
are great and really help the children develop in academic and artistic skills. The outdoor area is also great and the children play outside most days. The nursery uses an app to track a child development and upload pictures so you can see what your child has been up to each day. The nursey has activities that parents can get involved in and plenty of charity days throughout the year where children can dress up and get involved.
The location is fantastic and convenient and opening hours work for full or part day children.
Would highly recommend!

My child started at Kaleidoscope just after he turned one. It has been amazing to watch him grow and blossom in confidence and create strong bonds with both staff and the other children.
The nursery itself is fairly small in size, therefore, everyone that works in the nursery knows all of the children’s
name. It has a homely feel and very welcoming.
The activities and toys are to an excellent standard. Play is very child orientated and organic, they follow the children’s interests. It was so lovely to see on the online journal photographs of a big box from a delivery turn into imaginative play and creativity from children and staff in the pink room.
I can’t thank everyone at Kaleidoscope enough for making my child's first year and a bit at nursery a wonderful one, it is so clear the staff really care and love the children.

I cannot fault a thing. Staff warm, welcoming, helpful and pleasant.
I would love my kids to go more but it's not possible.

The nursery provides a consistent staff team. Our son is always happy to be there. Communication with the nursery is very good and we have a good relationship with the staff. They always provide lots of new and interesting activities including trips to new places. There is lots of outdoor play and walks

We have used Kaleidoscope, Gildersome for the past 4 and a half years and have found it to be an amazing nursery. Both my girls have been in the nursery since about 10 months old. The eldest was there until she was nearly 4, it set her up so well for the move up onto pre-school and I can see the same
happening for my youngest who will soon go to pre-school after just turning 3, but I know she will be fine as the efforts put in by the nursery to help her development have been outstanding. I find all the staff very friendly, hardworking and conscientious. The nursery is always clean, well equipped and the displays are always to a high standard. A great nursery!!
