Kids Planet Wetherby strives to give children the best start to life by giving them the confidence to play and learn about the world around them. The focus is on learning through play where children are nurtured and encouraged to take part in a wide variety of activities to boost their imagination and social skills.

Parents are kept up-to-date with their child's development and are invited in for regular parent partnership meetings. A monthly newsletter, themed stay and play sessions and fun family events mean parents will soon become part of the Kids Planet family.

This nursery provides really good care for my child, he loves coming here on a regular basis. The staff are really friendly and caring. They provide lovely activities every day according to the children's interests.

Fab, fab, fab! My son has been in the ‘Baby Stars’ room for a few months now and he settled really quickly and absolutely loves it! The staff are absolutely fantastic and I can’t praise them enough. They are really friendly and develop excellent relationships with the children. My son has come on in
leaps and bounds. They have also been especially accommodating in relation to some food allergies that he has.

My child enjoys going to this nursery. I think the range of activities and the progress she has shown in her learning are excellent.
The staff are attentive and caring and clearly experienced.

The care in this nursery varies dramatically from room to room. More thought needs to go into the parent and child's needs as opposed to how the staff want to care for your child on a day to day basis. The staff are young and with very few of them actually being mothers themselves. I don’t feel they
fully understand basic requirements sometimes.

My son enjoys going to nursery, they always make him feel welcome they have good structure so he knows what to do when he gets there. I think is really important as they get older and become more independent before school.
Staff always friendly and welcoming. Good feedback at the end of the day, so
no complaints.

My daughter loves it here. The staff are friendly, highly professional and really care about the children. They have encouraged her development and make every day varied and interesting through an array of activities. She reaches for her keyworker on arrival which demonstrates the bond between them
and I leave for work feeling happy and assured she is in such capable hands.
I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for childcare providers.

The nursery is very welcoming.
Every member of the team is friendly and make you feel at ease.
I'm surprised how quickly my daughter has taken to coming to nursery. I am never concerned when I leave her and have full trust in the team I leave her with. The staff in the baby star room are so informative,
they always make sure you know exactly what's happened in my daughter's day.
The capture early years system that the nursery uses is a great idea.

My eldest (2.5) has been at Twinkles since May 2014, and my youngest (9 months) is about to start. I feel a lot more confident returning to work after my 2nd maternity leave because I know my baby will be in safe hands. She's attended several settling in sessions already and seems comfortable in her
surroundings, enjoying lots of new toys, sights & sounds. I'm also really happy that my eldest enjoys his days, has varied activities, learns lots and is a sociable, happy little boy. The staff are all very friendly and personable and take the time to get to know the children individually.

I have used Twinkles Wetherby for both my children, my youngest is still there, my oldest is now in school, but still attends the holiday club run by Twinkles and the breakfast and after school club.
Both children thrived at Twinkles and formed great relationships with the staff.
Having used the
nursery since 2011 it is lovely that there is still a number of staff that are still working there today.
The activities that the kids do, both planned and on the spur of the moment, are great with plenty of walks out into the local community as well. Food always sounds great with a very varied menu.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Twinkles Wetherby.

My child attends Twinkles Wetherby and they are fantastic with her needs. My child recently broke her leg and all staff members made sure that she could join in with every activity for that day. She is learning everything super quick and it's all thanks to the nursery. I would always recommend Twinkles
Wetherby.

Great nursery, lovely staff. My daughter has learnt so much since going at 14 months (now nearly 3). The variety of food on the menu is excellent. My daughter loves going to nursery, especially when soccer tots come into teach football! The staff are so lovely, friendly and genuinely care.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I am a proud mother of two independent, thriving boys who have pursued their unique interests with encouragement and determination. Supporting them on their journeys has been one of my greatest joys.


Coming from a family of carers—including my mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who were all in the medical field—I have always been inspired by a love for nurturing and supporting others. This led me to a fulfilling career in childcare, where I managed a nursery for over 12 years, from 2008 to 2020.


Having travelled and lived across the globe, I deeply value diversity and inclusion. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of different cultures and ways of life, which I aim to incorporate into our nursery to help children embrace the world’s diversity as they grow and learn.


My focus will always be on providing the best possible care and opportunities for our children to thrive, whatever their individual abilities may be.
