Partou Tiny Teapots Day Nursery & Pre-school is an outstanding nursery in Harrogate for children from birth to five-years-old. The nursery provides excellent care and learning opportunities for children, covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The nursery’s kind, caring staff provide children with exciting learning activities planned around their individual needs and interests, making sure that learning is always lots of fun. Children are provided with a supportive and positive environment where they can play in a fun outdoor area every day.

The Tiny Teapots team are experienced and highly qualified, with the majority holding a Level 3 or above in childcare, a paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding training. All staff have enhanced DBS checks, ensuring that families know their children are in safe hands.

Children at the nursery eat delicious, healthy meals and snacks that have been freshly prepared in the nursery kitchen each day. Meals are prepared using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and the menu can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

This is a lovely nursery with lovely caring and helpful staff. I have been amazed by the rapid development of language and skills since my child started there. Her key worker is lovely and my daughter starts to say her name when it’s time to leave the house and seems very excited to be on her way to
the nursery to see her.


Would recommend to anyone. 5 stars.

They are a brilliant nursery, both my children go there and one has been going for 3 and a half years. they are part of the family. so supportive and always there if you need to speak to them or have any concerns they always listen. My children feel at ease and love going. It really is a great nursery.

Both my boys have been nurtured by all the staff to the highest standards. They do so many various tasks and his skills in all areas of the EYFS have improved.
They have been cared for and treated as individuals.

I can highly recommend this nursery, as a fantastic place for my daughter, where I know she is safe and looked after! The staff treat her like she is a part of the family.
Staff is always friendly and very helpful! I know I can go to the nursery manager anytime with any problem or question and she
would always have time to speak to me.

The staff are so lovely. They cannot do enough for you and they always have fun activities planned which my little one loves and clearly inspires her. I can not thank them enough for the support they are giving her and myself with a very fussy eater. Thank you to all the Teapots team

The nursery has a good range of freshly cooked meals and a range of activities each day. There is a good amount of indoor space and toys for the children. The nursery is flexible when we have needed this and have granted all requests we have made. We have had no major concerns and will be sending our
second child here next year.

My little boy loves nursery. He has learnt so much since being there and made lots of friends. He eats really well there and talks about what he has been doing when I pick him up. Fantastic nursery with great staff, fun activities, excellent safeguarding, fresh food and newly refurbished. The only extra thing I could ask for is an option for school hours as well as half and full days.

My child has just finished their first month at Tiny Teapots and it has been such a positive experience from the start, all staff are great and so accommodating. They can't do enough and make such an effort and truly care. My little boy looks forward to going to nursery all week.

First, we only considered childminders which didn't seem to work for my little one so went on to find a nursery for him. Tiny Teapots was the first and the last one, we didn't look any further. We're always welcome whenever we dropped by to have a look, they always try to accommodate all the changes
I'm requesting because of my work. They do loads of activities with the children and take good care of them. Can't even think of any niggle. I'm very grateful to the staff there, they've always ensured me my child was in safe hands, etc. We love Tiny Teapots!

Amazing nursery! My son loves his days at Tiny Teapots Private Day Nursery and has made some really good friends. He is always busy and tells me about the different experiments they do and all the songs they sing. He knows how to spell his name and is can recognize the letters. Very pleased!

Cannot recommend enough my little boy absolutely loves going to Tiny Teapots Day Nursery all the staff are amazing and so friendly and welcoming. They take such pride in all the children and my little lad always comes home happy the choices of food are great and they do different activities daily.
They have a fantastic outdoor area and always go that extra mile. I found out about this nursery through a friend of mine and I am so happy I did I feel my little boys personal development has come on leaps and bound. Again cannot recommend enough!!

My daughter has been going to Tiny teapots now for about a year and a half now and loves every minute of it! The staff are lovely and know they look after her which is the most important thing to me.
She always tells me what she’s done for the day and there are always so many activities and good food!
I
am so happy I can leave her in the capable hands of all the wonderful staff and I don’t have to worry while I’m at work.

I am extremley happy with the level of care and learning opportunities my son is provided with at Tiny Teapots.
The children’s happiness is what is most important and come home time, my son doesn’t want to leave.
The staff are like family, they take the time to really get to know you and your child.
I recently had the opportunity to attend a stay and play session and the range of activities going on was fantastic.
I have recommended this nursery to lots of friends in the past (as my daughter started in 2014 and my son started 2017) and most recently to my sister for her little boy.

My little girl started at Tiny Teapots in January 2018. She had had a rough start at a previous nursery which we were not happy with at all and really changed her and her attitude at home and with other people.
Tiny Teapots has changed all that. She loves going to nursery now and seeing her little
face so happy and smiley when picking her up is so satisfying.
Management is above and beyond exceptional and the staff are all brilliant and friendly.
Couldn't ask for a better place or people to look after my little girl.

Tiny Teapots has been a second home to both of my little girls. The refurbished rooms and outside space are welcoming and fresh with lots of learning potential. I love hearing about the educational and fun activities that they have done through the day and wish I could stay for lunch myself!

love the team so much and nothing is too much trouble for the management team who have a “can do attitude” (always helpful when trying to juggle kids and work!)

My little girl has been attending this nursery since she was 1. Over the 2 years that she's been there, she's always been looked after in a safe and stimulating environment. The people who work there are always supportive and caring, the facilities have been updated recently and provide a safe and stimulating
environment for all the children.
The nursery manager is always helpful in any matter.
The food, which is cooked in-house, is always nutritionally balanced and healthy.

ABOUT ME:
Greetings, I am Claire, and I am the manager of Tiny Teapots. My journey in the field of childcare and education spans an extensive 25 years, and in my ongoing pursuit of knowledge and professional growth, I am currently enrolled in a Level 5 Leadership in Early Years degree.


WHY CHILDCARE?
My passion for working with children began with childminding and subsequently assisting with the running of a church toddler group. These foundational experiences instilled in me the significance of creating a secure and nurturing environment for young children to blossom.


As my career advanced, I ventured into school settings, providing specialized support for teaching and learning. I find great fulfilment in shaping the future of our youngest learners.


In my role as a nursery manager, I am unwavering in my commitment to providing the highest quality care for all children. Each day is a fresh opportunity to establish a safe, stimulating, and nurturing setting where children can explore, play, and cultivate vital life skills. I look forward to the future as I continue to support their growth and development, armed with the knowledge and inspiration derived from my ongoing educational journey.


INTERESTS & HOBBIES:
Beyond my professional life, my personal life revolves around my family. I am a proud mum of three grown-up children who continue to inspire me every day. Additionally, I am a grandparent to a delightful grandson who is two. Watching him grow and learn is a priceless experience that keeps me connected to the endless wonder and inquisitiveness of childhood.
