Partou Play Away Day Nursery & Pre-school offers all-inclusive daycare making life easier for busy parents.

There is outdoor fun, with natural, stimulating and varied play areas as well as home cooked wholesome food. Their early years staff are professional and experienced.

This lovely nursery setting is located just off the Skipton Road (A59), close to Harrogate Hospital and within easy reach of Harrogate Town Centre. This convenient location means they’re able to get out and enjoy lots of sunny days exploring The Stray, as well as being perfectly located for parents working in and around the town centre! The staff team prides itself on a warm and happy nursery, which is staffed by the nicest people who love children and are highly motivated and qualified.

The highly-qualified team is completely dedicated to giving the little ones the very best start to their education. They undergo regular training and work hard to provide inspirational learning activities every day.

My sons have been in PlayAway Day Nursery for the last five years and I have always been really happy with their care and how happy they’ve both been there. All the staff have been fantastic and both boys have always loved all of their networks. A special mention to one member of staff who is an actual

I would like to thank you for your hard work. My daughter loves to be at the nursery. Due to Covid-19 we are not able to attend the nursery to see what children are doing but thankfully we are able to see a pictures which is because of you. I’m really happy to see my daughter's smile when she is passing

I’m very happy about this nursery. My son always comes back with a smile on his face, especially when his keyworker is working on that day. The staff are brilliant. I can recommend this place for all parents who are still struggling to find a nursery for their child.

My little girl started at PlayAway when she just turned 8 months, she is now nearly two and a half. Firstly in the baby room and now in the toddler room. The ladies who have looked after her in both rooms have been nothing but amazing. My little girl adores them all and in turn, they make it very clear
they equally adore her and her little pals too. They have been key players in her education, she has developed into an independent, kind and hilarious little lady, and they have been key players in this and I can't thank them enough. It makes mine and my husband's life's easier knowing we are dropping her off every morning to spend her day having loads of fun. If you're looking for a place where your little one would be looked after as well as they would be at home, I definitely recommend PlayAway!

My son has attended Playaway since the age of 1 and is now a 4 year old in the preschool room. I have always been extremely happy with the care provided by the nursery during this time. There has been a change in owners and management during this time but this was well handled and the current management
do a great job. The staff in preschool are amazing and the bonds they have with the children are evident. The children spend a lot of time playing outside which I really appreciate. I have nothing bad to say.

PlayAway nursery is a fantastic place, newly refurbished, a great environment for all ages before school. The staff are lovely and my daughter smiles every time she gets to the door. I don't worry about my daughter at all when she’s at nursery, she’s in the best hands. The food is also amazing, she

I’ve sent both my children to Playaway nursery, it’s always been a fantastic nursery with very friendly staff. Recently, I’ve had to send my son in for an extra day a week at very short notice to which they were very flexible and accommodating.

Really, really happy with the care my son has received whilst being in the toddler room, the ladies are amazing and always so patient when he was less than willing to go in. The whole team are friendly and welcoming and the nursery itself has fantastic rooms to learn and play in, as well as a beautiful

Ever since first looking around the nursery I have been satisfied that our 18month old boy will be safe and well looked after. Just a couple of months after enrolling him we noticed promising changes in his development from a baby into a toddler. This includes his speech/social interaction and even
remembering nursery rhymes! He also is more independent with eating especially with a spoon/fork.


The manager and her staff clearly enjoy their jobs and I have been very impressed with the level of detail that goes into caring for our son. He definitely enjoys his day (7.30-5) and the staff always take time to inform me what his day has involved.


We would definitely recommend PlayAway to any friends or family and we look forward to seeing more of our child’s development!

Brilliant nursery with fantastic staff looking after each group of children. The food menu is great and is always a good variety each week. Nice, clean and safe environment for the children with lots of activities for them to do. Will be sad to say goodbye next year. 5* would definitely recommend.

Our little boy has attended the PlayAway baby unit for a number of months now. He is very happy at nursery! We had to start nursery at the start of lockdown and we were incredibly nervous about placing our baby in a nursery. However, the PlayAway staff during lockdown put me at ease. The key person
made a great effort with our baby and he now smiles and gets very excited when he sees her. Since coming out of national lockdown, another has taken over as key person and has put a lot of effort into his paper profile which we can look at whenever we want. Our baby is always full when he comes home and hearing all of the food he has eaten each day makes us laugh! We are very happy with PlayAway and will recommend to our friends and family.

We have been so pleased by the care our 12-month-old daughter is receiving from PlayAway. They immediately made our family feel welcome and took the time to get to know us through a home visit and settling in sessions. Our daughter is very happy and has settled in well, thanks to the kind and competent
staff - they truly put the care of the children in their charge at the top of their priorities.
The daily updates we get are lovely to hear and this has been further reinforced by a recent parents evening.
We are really pleased we chose PlayAway to look after our daughter.
