It’s taken a while for my son to settle, but now absolutely loves it, and that’s thanks to the staff. They were also great when my daughter attended too! They’ve helped him settle in so much, and he has come on so much more since starting.

My son has just had his first settle in session, and I cannot speak highly enough of the two girls in the baby room. They were both there on Monday when I came in to complete the paperwork, and my son took to them instantly. They were immediately so engaged with him, and his play and made him so comfortable
that when I dropped him off today, he just fell into their arms without looking back. They kept me up to date via the app with pictures and feeding/nappy updates, so I knew he was enjoying himself. Every time I’ve met them, they have been so welcoming and friendly to the both of us that I don’t feel at all like I’m leaving him with people I don’t know. I cannot thank them enough for making an extremely emotional and difficult experience for me so comfortable and feel so safe.
Highly recommend this nursery.

I couldn’t be anymore happier with Sunbeams. My daughter just loves it here so much. She would go every single day if she could! Every single member of staff is so lovely. The app is fab. My daughter always tells me that she loves the food there! She has made some lovely friends, and I feel confident
that Sunbeams have made her more than ready for school!
I’m just not ready for school yet!

My child loves this setting; she has settled well and made lots of friends. The staff are lovely and well trained. The staff create a very welcoming environment, and they seem to very genuinely care about each individual child.

I cannot rate Sunbeams enough. My little one has gone there from being 8-months-old. He leaves this year to go to school, and I will be so sad not to be going there everyday. The staff are incredible, the facilities are amazing, and my son raves about the food everyday.

My son has been going to Sunbeams since August 2021, and our experience to date has been wonderful. He has loved attending ever since the first day, and I believe it's down to the lovely staff and happy environment they create there. I particularly love how much fun the nursery staff seem to have with
the children in the baby's room; they genuinely care about the kids and enjoy being there with them. I love being able to track his progress throughout the day, which was particularly useful for the first month whilst I got used to him being there. I look forward to my son growing up at Sunbeams and benefiting from the fun and loving environment that it is. We couldn't be happier with it!

Amazing nursery with amazing staff, can't fault Sunbeams, sent both of my boys here. The manager goes above and beyond to try to help the best she can to accommodate the children. Another lady is amazing with the kids also, so warm and welcoming, and also takes the time to understand each child's needs.
I would highly recommend Sunbeams to anybody who is looking for a nursery for little ones.

I couldn’t be happier with Sunbeams. Since my daughter first started, we have felt welcomed into such a positive and warm environment. The staff have taken the time to help her overcome sensory concerns with play and experience, which has really helped her gain confidence. There are lots of open-ended
play opportunities, and the equipment is fantastic. She is always very well fed, and I think having home-cooked meals on site is brilliant. The menu is varied and very well considered.
I would recommend Sunbeams to anyone with pre-school-aged children. They are fantastic. Thank you!

My son loves it at nursery. He has lots of friends, and the staff are lovely and comfort him if upset. They encourage him to try new foods as he is a fussy eater. He loves playing outside and exploring all the toys.

I moved my daughter here from another nursery setting, as she was not settling there. I honestly thought she might not settle anywhere, but she has completely flourished since starting at Sunbeams. The team are so lovely, warm and caring, and the setting is calm and relaxed but has lots to do. She is
so excited to go to nursery now, something I could never have imagined before. I can’t rate them highly enough. It’s is such a welcoming environment, and they seem to very genuinely care about each individual child. I have friends with children at the same setting and all positive reports. A gem of a nursery. My son has been attending Sunbeams Harrogate since September 2020, and I absolutely have nothing to fault them with. The management and staff are very friendly and very helpful, my son has made good friends here, and he enjoys the food and range of activities offered. Also, the nursery uses a very helpful
app that offers parents the opportunity to see the daily menu and how much of it the child has eaten, it is used for communicating information and sharing photos. As my son soon leaves for reception, he has definitely made great memories and wonderful friendships at nursery.

There is such a loving feeling from the moment you walk into the building. Everyone we have come across really cares about my son. They are never short of hugs, affection and comfort. My son can be quite shy, and no matter who comes to collect him from reception, he happily goes with them. He gets so
excited about going and literally runs in every time he goes. He has made lots of friends and his confidence has grown so much because of the nurture he has received at Sunbeams. He comes home telling me of what he has played with and done and how much fun it is, but I can also see his development. Sunbeams are really preparing for him to go to school, and because of their support, he has gone from not liking the idea of school, to now he can't wait. Sunbeams care so much about the children, and I feel cared for as well. The outside space is fantastic, and I love that the children go out whatever the weather.

The staff are excellent at Sunbeams Day Nursery (Harrogate) and have been so caring and supportive of our family. We have sent both our children here and have been really pleased with their progress. The support through Covid-19 has been great. The only negative is the app they use to communicate now.
There are no notifications and we have sometimes missed the odd message from them. Additionally most of the notifications on social media refer to other sites when I think Sunbeams Day Nursery (Harrogate) has plenty to shout about.

Our daughter has been at Sunbeams Day Nursery (Harrogate) since November and she loves it. She is always excited in the morning when we tell her it’s “nursery today” and runs for her shoes.The team are fabulous and we have noticed such an incredible improvement on her speech and her general day to day
skills. I’d recommend to anyone.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have been in childcare for 25 years. I started my training at Harrogate College and completed a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies. Over that time I have worked in a number of nurseries, as well as being a nanny, and looked after children aged from birth to teenagers.

I have completed a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children and Young People’s Services, a Level 3 in Leadership and Management and SENCo Level 3. I am also the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
