My son Oliver has attended Halton Sunbeams since October 2017, he loves every minute of being there. He loved the baby room spending lots of time with his key worker. He’s moved up to infants now and has a great time, the staff keep him entertained all day. I would recommend Sunbeams to any parent.

Since starting the staff have been very welcoming and friendly towards myself and my daughter. I have been impressed with the meals and snacks offered and the amount of time they spend outside is great.
My daughter looks forward to going.

We are really happy about Sunbeams Day Nursery (Harrogate) and this is only because our little boy has loved staying there. Staff are dedicated and responsible. There are also many activities from which we can see that our bot learnt a lot of skills, songs and words and most important of all - confidence.

My daughter has been at this nursery for over a year now and is very settled and happy. Staff have been excellent in helping her to settle in, and providing care to her. She is provided with a wide range of activities each day, which have really helped her development.
Her key worker is excellent
and I cannot praise her and the rest of the team enough. We are moving out of the area next year and I will be very upset to have to move my daughter out of the nursery.

The staff at Sunbeams Day Nursery (Harrogate) are of great help in terms of getting my two year old settled and providing good care. My boy is definitely starting to enjoy nursery life including eating and playing with other children. He has also learnt a good amount of songs and stories and numbers.
I would highly recommend this daycare nursery.

My little boy has been at Sunbeams for a year now, starting in the babies class when he was 11 months old and now in the toddlers class. Every member of staff at Sunbeams is friendly and caring and takes the time to get to know each child. It really feels like an extended family and my little boy often
comes home asking when he is going to see his nursery teachers again!
I have already recommended Sunbeams to other parents as they do such a fantastic job of caring and educating the children and above all, the staff work with the parents to do their best to make sure the children are happy and enjoy their time at nursery.

From the introductory tour, I knew that Sunbeams Day Nursery (Harrogate) was where I wanted my baby to go. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable straight away. The nursery itself is always clean and so child orientated; it's the perfect environment for kids. My little boy's
key worker is superb. He loves her and she knows him inside out.

Since my children joined Sunbeams they have developed in so many ways. My daughter is more confident, learning lots of new words in English. My son starting walking and is balanced. My children look forward to going into the nursery every day.
My son and daughter love the teachers very much and the
teachers are very approachable to parents. I really highly recommend this place.

I cannot praise sunbeams enough for the hard work, love, care and dedication to the children who attend the setting. I have been using sunbeams since my eldest was 14 months old and she is now 7, and my youngest started when she was 5months old and is now 3 and a half.
The staff are wonderful and have
helped shape both of my girls into the amazing little beings that they are today. The activities are always educational and interesting and I enjoy hearing the girls mainly the youngest about the day they have had and what they have been doing or what they are going to do in the next coming days.
The cook is also exceptional making some healthy but tasty and interesting meals that the children enjoy.
Sunbeams staff are also outstanding when it comes to supporting the parents/children, I do believe that a close relationship with the parents is just as vital to sustaining and maintaining a relationship with the children.

Sunbeams is the most friendly place, they keep my son entertained and happy all the time. The people who work with him, have even gone out of their way to make a reward chart in their own time for us to use at home, also they keep me very up to date and listen to any problems I think I may be having.

My son has been in Sunbeams since he was 10.5 months old up until him starting school this coming Monday. We absolutely adore this nursery. The staff are very caring and friendly, they helped my son settle in, learn, develop and have fun doing it. He is always happy to go in and most days doesn’t want
to leave. Fun activities like arts and crafts, baking, gardening or hatching butterflies to name a few have really enriched his experience in Sunbeams. I am also very fond of the outdoor facilities, if rain or shine, kids love spending time outside playing, looking for bugs, gardening or in a gazebo. Sunbeams have definitely helped shape my little sunshine into a confident, lively, polite and charming boy that he is. Thank you!

Sunbeans are fantastic. They work closely with EYFS practitioners at all levels to ensure pupil/child development. The girls are well cared for and enjoy the activities they do. Overall, wholly brilliant nursery.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have been in childcare for 25 years. I started my training at Harrogate College and completed a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies. Over that time I have worked in a number of nurseries, as well as being a nanny, and looked after children aged from birth to teenagers.

I have completed a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children and Young People’s Services, a Level 3 in Leadership and Management and SENCo Level 3. I am also the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
