Co-op Childcare Newburn Nursery is a purpose-built nursery that has been designed to a high standard taking the needs of the children into account. There are three main rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: six weeks to 18 months, 18 months - two-years-old and two to five-year-olds.

They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values to children from encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

They are big on happy children and they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and a focus on taking care of each other and the world. They hold the Green Flag Status Award, an internationally recognised award in a programme that sees children lead the world in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

They have a ParentZone app which keeps parents/carers informed about life at nursery from photos of their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

Co-op Childcare Newburn have a sensory room which is a beautiful indoor garden that includes forest music and sensory materials that your child can use as tools for imaginative play.

Our experience with the Co-operative Nursery Newburn has been fantastic. Our daughter has developed so much confidence and we are really impressed with her emerging literacy and numeracy skills as a result of the nursery's work with her. We think the Newbury Co-operative Nursery has provided her with

Excellent nursery, our daughters loves coming here and never wants to leave. The management, to all the staff, are all so friendly, approachable, she really likes them all and they are an asset to the Co-operative group. It has been the best experience of our little one's time at this nursery, and will
be sending our new arrival when she is older. Thank you to all the amazing staff for all that they do, we really appreciate all your hard work and dedication.

Absolutely recommend this nursery, our son has been here for almost 4 years and is extremely happy. It has installed great values in him, his development has been fantastic and especially in his social skills. Sad to be leaving to go to reception.

Our daughter joined the nursery when she was one year old and she is now just about to leave pre-school. She has been well cared for by all the staff and everyone shows a genuine interest in the children. There are some fab learning activities (especially Isla bikes) and parents are updated on progress
regularly. We have loved our daughter being here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

This nursery is a fantastic place. Our daughter has come on a long way since she first started. The staff are very caring and friendly and are attentive to the children's needs. The activities are fun and educational and the outside space is superb. I'd certainly recommend this nursery, thanks!

My son has been at this nursery since he was 10 months old and has spent time in all of the areas. He absolutely loves coming to nursery and has made a lot of friends over the years. He has also built up great relationships with the staff who are all lovely and take great care of the children. His confidence
has grown so much in the time he has been here and they have prepared him well for his next step of going to school. Thank you to all the staff who have helped him through his journey.

The quality of care at this nursery is wonderful. Staff are approachable, friendly and caring. My little girl enjoys her time at nursery and speaks highly of both the staff and the exciting activities on offer. The nursery environment is organised, clean and well presented. Choosing this nursery for my daughter is one of the best decisions I have made. I was initially attracted to the nursery because of facilities including a separate garden for the babies. However the staff are what make the nursery outstanding. They are all dedicated, committed, genuinely care for the
children and communicate well with parents so I feel connected with my daughter's day. There is a real sense of community. My daughter is happy, confident and curious and the staff at the nursery have made an enormous contribution to this. I cannot thank them enough. They allow children to explore their own interests and also take them on trips. My daughter loves the food made by the chef at the nursery. I know while at nursery she will be encouraged to eat healthily and she has developed an understanding of the food she needs to grow. My daughter has made lasting friendships at this nursery - and so have I. I would happily recommend this nursery to other parents.

Very good nursery, pleasant staff. They are very flexible in accommodating any extra sessions needed to help the parents. They are like family, especially the ladies from the office who are great.

I have found this nursery and the staff to be very pleasant, there have been a few staff changes but my grandson still seems settled and it has not bothered him. The garden is not great, it is so big and the space could be used better. Management are friendly and welcoming. The nursery is secure and
safe and I have had no concerns for my grandson's safety or wellbeing.

The staff at the nursery are amazing! They are not only tentative and genuinely a huge developmental factor to the children’s lives, but they are actually interested and become extended members of everyone’s family.
