Such a friendly, caring and welcoming nursery. The staff are excellent, skilled, professional and caring and will go the extra mile to help the child and family when a crisis occurs. The food is excellent and always enjoyed by my grandson, he will miss this when he goes to school. He has been here since
he was a baby and has been through all the rooms, made many friends and at each stage staff have helped him learn age-appropriate skills. I am confident that when he leaves he will be ready for school.

The nursery is friendly, kind, caring and patient to my baby.
The teachers in the baby room are very responsible and professional. Overall, the environment is brilliant and the food is great as my son always eats a lot at nursery.

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. The staff are amazing and so welcoming. It is like leaving your child with family. My child has grown so much during the time he has been attending. He goes in and comes out with a huge, happy smile. The whole team go beyond expectation to deliver such
high standards. My son has extra care needs and requires a lot more input than other children his age. This has never been an issue, the room, activities and even the meals are all adapted for him when required and he is included throughout. The team genuinely just want to do what's best for the child and do so in a caring and professional manner. Only wish we had found this nursery sooner!

My child has been at Shieldfield Community Nursery for almost 2 years and I have always been impressed by ALL members of staff - they are very friendly which makes both children and family feel comfortable in the environment, the management and key workers are also very professional and pass on all
relevant information and spend time to discuss the child enabling a chance for 'dual' caring to ensure rules/boundaries/education can be replicated in the home.
