My children have both attended the nursery since a young age, it has been a wonderful experience for them and for us as parents. They have supportive, helpful and understanding. The kids have come on leaps and bounds. I could not recommend this nursery enough.

Westerhope village Nursery is absolutely amazing, my son started in January 2019 and settled in very quickly, he loves attending nursery. The staff are so friendly and welcoming to both parents and children. They offer lots of different activities for the children and also for parents to get involved
with sessions. They have a great menu with lots of options for meal times and even have days where children can get involved, making their own lunch. I honestly could not recommend enough.

I love Westerhope Village Nursery. Both of my children have been/are extremely happy here (my son is now at school, but my daughter is still there). The staff are all amazing and I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly.

My son has been in Westerhope Nursery since January. He is absolutely loving it and coming on so well and this is all thanks to the girls at nursery. They are so welcoming and really help him develop and they are really attentive. They keep us updated on his day and what he has been getting up too,
which gives us peace of mind that he is ok.
Would massively recommend this nursery, quality of care, facilities and development is outstanding.

Our son has been coming here nearly nine months and he is nearly two and a half. His development since attending nursery has been amazing. Staff always take time to hand over and talk about his development.
Having access to tapestry is amazing. We can see where he is excelling and which skills need
work on. We get to see photos of him having fun with his little friends as well which always puts a smile on our faces.
He did used to cry when we left him to start with, but the staff have been and still are amazing with him. As soon as he arrives, he likes to hold their hand or grab a cuddle and I have had nothing but a pleasant experience with all of the staff.

The staff are lovely and so attentive to every child. Always have time to speak to you and keep to your wishes. My child seems to love going to nursery and has developed more skills whilst being there. All of which makes me feel so at ease when dropping my child off at nursery.

My son has been attending the nursery since June 2016. The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to help. Can’t fault them at all. They hold regular parents evening to update you. Nothing is a bother to them. I would recommend this nursery to anyone. The manageress and the girls are always very
polite and very approachable.

My toddler was very clingy towards myself and cried for me when not with me. Although my older boy attended a private nursery when he was a baby, I still felt uneasy about sending my little girl just for how she was.
Knowing what I know now it’s best thing I’ve done. The staff were supportive and
reassuring and I was able to contact them by telephone at any time to see how she was. My little one has come on so much since being there and she loves it.

We have sent all three of our children to this Nursery. Our eldest is profoundly disabled and nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff who cared for her. Staff are so pleasant when you enter the nursery and it gives you a lovely sense that the children are very well cared for and puts us parents
at ease. We viewed this Nursery on recommendation years ago and never looked back. Management is fabulous too. We highly recommend this Nursery.

All staff have been great with my daughter. I enrolled her just before her 2nd birthday because she was extremely shy and wouldn't interact with other children. She’s been going 5 months now and she’s like a different child, she’s very outgoing and learning so much too. I couldn’t recommend a better
nursery.

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was 14 months old, and as this is my first experience with a nursery so I was unsure what to expect. The carefully planned taster sessions introduced us both sensitively to what was a big change to our lives and now a year on my little one is positively
excited to attend, she even gets excited when we drive past on non-nursery days!
She benefits from the wide range of activities available at the nursery and is able to develop friendships with the staff and fellow children alike. I would not hesitate to recommend.

One particular nurse from Westerhope Village is amazing, my eldest son used to attend. I felt very settled with her and my son really liked her. Now my youngest son attends and again, I feel settled when she is looking after him.

My daughter went to this nursery from October 2015 to July 2016, she has downs syndrome and the nursery has made an amazing impact on her. Within the 4 weeks she could sit at the table and eat her lunch without throwing it on the floor, she had a superb routine and relationship with all the staff who
worked with her.
I can't thank them enough and I have recommended it to all friends and colleagues who have been looking for a placement for their children!!! My daughter has come a long way with her early years learning care and consideration by staff, management were friendly and always approachable. So top marks to them for everything.

As soon as my son started the staff were very helpful. They were willing to follow my way of doing things which made me feel more comfortable. They now know his ways and he has settled in well. They are always willing to answer any questions I have and he seems to do a lot of different things in the
time he is there which I am informed about when I collect him. Every time I have rung with any queries the staff make sure my questions are answered.

Lisa Hutchinson

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Lisa Hutchinson is the nursery manager at Westerhope.
She began at Kids Planet Westerhope as a nursery nurse before moving onto the Senior role and then Deputy Manager. Lisa loves being involved with childcare and being part of the first stages of a child’s life in helping them develop and grow, ensuring they receive the best care to allow them the best possible start in life.
