Teesdale Childrens Day Nursery are very proud to have an 'Outstanding' Ofsted report from January 2017.

The staff team are focused on providing quality childcare and education for the children who attend their setting. Their aim is to give every child the best possible start in life.

The nursery staff use tapestry, an online learning journey to keep parents informed about their child's progress in nursery and parents have access as well so they can see how their children are developing.

The nursery is part of Nunthorpe Nurseries Group and they have an excellent reputation in the North East

A wonderful and nurturing setting for babies and children. I am very pleased with the staff and management. A very fun and supportive space. I have seen so much development in my child thanks to Teesdale. We were always told what was eaten, sometimes told what activities they had been up to. Outdoor
space is great for them to explore.

I have not had a single issue with this nursery in the entire time my son has been here. They’ve been very kind and courteous. They’ve always addressed if there has ever been an issue and have worked together to fix that. I definitely recommend this nursery to anyone. I will definitely miss it and the

Fantastic nursery! My little girl is reaching the end of her time at nursery now and I cannot fault the manager and the team. The nursery is a good one, my son loves to attend. The staff are lovely, they welcome me and my son as well. I was happy and felt glad my son is happy compared to his previous nursery. I will always recommend them.

I was really worried about sending my little boy to a nursery with him only being six months old at the time, but as soon as he came to Teesdale nursery, I had nothing but reassurance! I have created a strong relationship with the staff, and so has my little boy, as every time he leaves, it's with a
smile on his face. They are amazing at telling you everything that has gone on during the day. The staff that work there couldn't do enough for you; they are so friendly and have such a good atmosphere! I am amazed by how much he has come in since coming here. Can't recommend this nursery enough. They are all amazing.

I picked this nursery for my son 13 years ago, and now again for my 1-year-old - fantastic nursery, great staff, always helpful.
Great variety of healthy meals, breakfast, lunch and then snacks available.
Would be even better if a meal instead of a snack was offered later in the day.
Staff are always
welcoming on arrival and always give a handover at the end of the day.
Always helpful and flexible around arranging shifts with work.
Would recommend this nursery to others.

In regards to the snack we offer in the afternoon this is a light bite due to the children enjoying a healthy two-course meal at lunchtime. Beautiful baby room. I've noticed a significant difference in my child's development since she began attending Teesdale Childrens Day Nursery, and the staff members are quite polite. My daughter has attended this nursery school since she was six months old. Even now, at twenty months old, the joy on
her face when I drop her off at school never ceases to astonish me and exposes a great deal, which makes me quite delighted

Lovely nursery and lovely staff. My little boy is 21 months and has been going around once a week since he was 7 months old. I work shifts so he attends different days every week and they are always really flexible to what we need.

My son started at Teesdale Childrens Day Nursery when he was 8 months old. The girls were fab with helping us both adjust and settle in and have always gone that extra mile when needed. He's now 4 years old and at school but still wants to go back to Teesdale in the school holidays to see his little

I have been using this nursery for both of my children since 2018. Absolutely amazing girls - always there to help and the children love them all. Clean and tidy nursery and great food for the kids! Highly recommended!

Hello, I'm Michelle.
I have a level 4 in Early years childhood studies and have worked in childcare for 22 years here at Teesdale Children's Day Nursery. I started out as an Early year's educator, working my way up to deputy manager and I'm now proud to be manager. I take pride in having very good organisational skills and use them when managing the nursery, staff, and children. I love to meet new families, welcoming them into our setting and ensuring that they feel comfortable. We work as a team to ensure all rooms provide fun, stimulating, and safe environments. I believe having a strong team helps children achieve their individual learning goals by working together and working alongside parents and families collectively. I look forward to welcoming you to our nursery.
