The staff team are focused on providing quality childcare and education for the children who attend their setting. Their aim is to give every child the best possible start in life.

Teesdale Children's Day Nursery has been a great influence on my godson as they have settled him fantastically and take lovely photos which we can see in his online journal. He loves playing with his friends in the baby room and all the lovely staff.

This is the best nursery ever! They have brought my daughter on leaps and bounds. She is doing things I didn't think were possible. All the staff are amazing. I couldn't thank them enough for everything they do for her.

My children have attended the nursery for 4 years, the staff are fantastic, caring and compassionate. My children come home each day with a beaming smile on their faces, a story to tell, and have learnt something new. The staff go above and beyond expectations every day. I have always recommended and
will continue to do so, couldn't ask for a better group of girls.

I cannot be happier with the care, love and happiness all the staff here show the children. I was worried about using a childcare provider in the North East as my previous provider in York was so good. Teesdale / Nunthorpe nurseries have been amazing, I would recommend them to anyone. From drop off
to collection, daily activities relevant to the time of year and daily email notifications with their online journal, everything is fantastic. My daughter is very clingy at home but loves going into nursery and the way she's at ease with all the staff is testimony to the hard work the girls put in. Thank you.

All staff are extremely friendly and approachable and always let me know what my child has been doing. My child is very happy and is happy to be left and often takes fondly of staff and friends. My child is always busy at nursery and will always bring a picture home which we as parents enjoy. I would

My daughter really enjoys every day that she comes to Teesdale Children's Day Nursery and looks forward to coming. We would recommend this nursery to anyone. I have found the staff very helpful and always keep me informed of my daughter's activities and well being while here. The meals are very good
and my daughter eats it all up and never goes hungry. Her education has improved dramatically while here also. As shown by her using her skills picked up here in everyday life.

My daughter currently attends this nursery and my son did prior to her. My daughter suffers from a condition that needs daily management but it's never been too much trouble for the staff at the nursery. They have been taught how to manage it by specialist staff and do so brilliantly! I could not have
asked for a better team of people to look after her.
The staff are always friendly, polite and caring. I love the updates on Tapestry about what they have been doing through the day, lots of happy play and lots of learning too!
I have always felt 100% confident when dropping both my children off that they will be well looked after. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

My son loved this nursery for 3 years. The meals were fab as they had options and staff were great. Would definitely recommend this nursery. I just wish they did school pick up and drop off to Billingham.

My son is very happy at Teesdale nursery and loves coming every week to see his friends. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. My son has progressed so much in his development since he began attending Teesdale in regards to his speech, numbers, shapes, languages and many more. I couldn't recommend
this nursery enough.

My daughter tried three nurseries before Teesdale and wouldn't settle in any. She settled the first day in Teesdale and she is coming on a treat. Fantastic nursery and fantastic staff.

All three of my children have attended Teesdale and I would absolutely recommend it. My eldest is 12yrs and a lot of the staff are still there now caring for my son. The care they give is the best you could wish for. They feed them, entertain them, offer them new opportunities, teach them new things,
look after them when they're under the weather, let them have fun and keep them safe. The girls are so caring and I totally trust them all to look after my son whilst I'm at work. They are all so approachable and friendly and will offer advice when asked to. Great bunch of girls would recommend 100%.

Hello, I'm Michelle.
I have a level 4 in Early years childhood studies and have worked in childcare for 22 years here at Teesdale Children's Day Nursery. I started out as an Early year's educator, working my way up to deputy manager and I'm now proud to be manager. I take pride in having very good organisational skills and use them when managing the nursery, staff, and children. I love to meet new families, welcoming them into our setting and ensuring that they feel comfortable. We work as a team to ensure all rooms provide fun, stimulating, and safe environments. I believe having a strong team helps children achieve their individual learning goals by working together and working alongside parents and families collectively.
