Located just two minutes off the junction of the A1 and A690 in Durham, Clever Clogs Belmont provides 96 nursery childcare places for 0-5 year olds and 26 out of school places, including before and after-school and holiday clubs, for schoolchildren up to the age of 11.

Both my children have been coming to Clever Cloggs for 6 years. Every time we speak to any member of staff they always take the time to update us on how the children are. I particularly like the regular updates of the rooms and the individual progress reports. Thanks again!

Since my little boy started Clever Clogs in November his confidence has grown so much. The girls in every room are welcoming on a morning and are always so happy. Feedback at the end of the day is always in-depth about what they have been up to throughout the day as well as providing daily posts and
development updates on the app. The ladies in the office are always happy to help when needed. The building itself is fully accessible, making it easier for my husband who is in a wheelchair to collect our children. My little one absolutely loves all the girls and has created strong bonds with the girls who look after him in his room. My older son attends the nursery's fun club. He started at the Christmas holidays and ever since has asked when he can go back as he loved it and said it was so much fun. I didn't expect updates with him just being in holiday club, however, they also send updates on the app of what they have been up to. He is super excited to go again for February half-term.

Belmont Clever Clogs is a lovely nursery providing excellent care and great fun for my sons. All staff are lovely, selfless and enthusiastic bringing great ideas day to day to educate all the kids. My eldest child attended the nursery and my youngest still attends. I am very happy with the service received. From the management to the room staff everything has been exceptional. They are very caring and give me peace of mind when my children are at nursery. I would recommend Clever Clogs Belmont
to other parents without any hesitation.

My daughter has only completed her taster sessions so far but she seems to be settling in lovely and I feel comfortable leaving her within the nursery's care. The staff are lovely, friendly and take the time to talk to you about what your child has been doing etc.

I cannot recommend Clever Clogs Belmont enough given how much my son has flourished over the last three years. From settling in and feeling comfortable with staff members straight away at 9 months, to him now being fully supported during potty training and early years development. Communication from
the nursery is always proactive and thorough, and my son loves attending, often running through the door. Thank you again.

My child has recently started Clever Clogs Nusery and I have see such improvement with his development of speech and interaction with others.

My grandchildren have not attended the nursery for long, after changing childcare. The staff have been excellent, couldn’t have made the transition any easier, the staff are always welcoming and smiling and you can see that they’re passionate about the roles, they allow the children to express themselves
and develop for their age. The rooms are age-appropriate and clean and lots of activities for the children. My grandchildren are always happy going in and when being picked up. I think the nursery is good value for what you pay and you can see the staff and management make the nursery a nice environment. Excellent nursery for any child to attend.

My daughter started the nursery in February 2023. From the initial visit to the nursery I was put at ease by the staff members, they really have a good understanding of child development and how you can support your children at home.
The garden is lovely and my daughter has had lots of fun playing
in the mud kitchen and the forest school outdoor area.
Nothing is ever an issue for the management or staff.
A home away from home for my daughter and the rest of the family.

My niece started the nursery in March 2023, the staff have always made the full family welcome and she goes into the nursery with a smile each day.
The management has been extremely supportive and helped with the transitional period.
The staff know her very well and help with her development.

I can’t speak highly enough of Clever Clogs Day Nursery. I have a 14 month old who has attended since he was 9 months old and I was very nervous about leaving him. He is so happy and settled and the girls are wonderful with him. I nearly decided not to go back to work but finding Clever Clogs made the
decision much easier and I’m so glad that I did. He has come on leaps and bounds.

I have just recently registered my child to Clever Clogs as her previous nursery suddenly closed. My reasons for choosing this nursery, as it is out of my area, was because of a member of staff from her old nursery who transferred over to this nursery. She is one in a million! She is amazing with children
and has fantastic relationships with parents and staff! My daughter has autism and the member of staff has excellent skills to manage her needs effectively and is totally worth the travel there and back every day! The management team have also been extremely helpful and supportive during this transition and for this I can’t thank them enough. The nursery setting is beautiful and very professionally ran. I am really happy with my choice and feel at ease knowing my little girl will be happy there! Thank you.

Clever Clogs is a brilliant nursery, that both of my children of different ages attend and they both love going to this setting. They have not been there for long but from their settling-in visits to their first full day, all of the staff team could not have been more welcoming and reassured me as a
parent that they are in safe hands. The staff always go out of their way and can not do enough for both of my children, this could be anywhere from simply giving them a cuddle when they are feeling sad to planning fun-filled learning opportunities through activities for both of my children to investigate and explore and meet their individual targets and goals. I always look forward to getting notified during the day on their main highlight and especially love to see how happy their faces look when receiving photos. I would highly recommend Clever Clogs at Belmont to anyone who is looking for an excellent nursery where the children are the main focus!
