Excellent nursery. Communication is great from the staff. My son has been there for nearly 2 years and loves his time there. Timings are also excellent especially for parents who are doctors as early drop-off is possible.

I am very happy with Schoolhouse Day Nursery at Princess of Wales. I know my child is happy there, the staff take excellent care of her and always seem so happy. They are kind with her and she is always doing crafts or playing outdoors. She's always happy to go in and warmly welcomed. I'm a pediatrician
and I am happy to trust them with the care of my daughter. They catered well when she had an allergy.

Overall, we are very happy with our child's daycare experience. Some things could be improved but the positives outweigh this massively. Firstly, I don't understand their policy regarding entering the building at the end of the day to pick up my son. This was always the norm prior to Covid. There are
no longer any restrictions in place yet we are still not allowed to enter. The prices have also recently increased by about 10% with the daycare not absorbing any inflationary costs themselves but passing it almost fully over to the customer - this seems a bit unfair. Despite this, I would strongly recommend this nursery. The staff are excellent and truly care about the kids. The wooden toys and Montessori style approach is also brilliant for their development. My son loves it there and eats really well. He comes home with new words or skills all the time. We also love the app that they use!

My daughter joined when she was 9 months old, when I went to work. I can not be happier with the service and environment provided. She absolutely loves it there, every day brings something new. I see a massive change in her development weekly. She went up to other 2’s in January and her imagination
has grown either further. I would recommend the nursery to anyone as they are so great with my daughter. The staff are caring and keep me informed via the app, which is really important to me. I have a very happy little girl and that’s all I can ask for.

Very welcoming nursery, the staff are lovely and the food provided is always nutritious and varied. They will respond to any queries quickly and are always happy to help.
The hours they provide care for are great and really helpful. We love that they have natural, wooden toys for the children and that
they do fun activities such as baking cakes and giving roses to NHS staff.

We’ve had a fantastic experience of school house nursery at Princess of Wales Day Nursery hospital.
The staff are so warm and friendly and are happy to spend time reassuring us and answering any questions at drop off and pick up.
My little girl’s development has improved so much in the six weeks
since she started, she has come home clapping her hands which she has learnt through song and rhyme at nursery. She has also started feeding herself with her spoon after watching the other children eat which we are thrilled to see!
We love the regular photo updates of her activities and the staff are very quick to respond when I post a question on the app. My daughter comes out of nursery smiling and I’m confident she is in the hands of caring and motivated staff.

Great place. I don't regret for a second sending my daughter there. With the nursery's support she made a great transformation from a lockdown child who has no social skills to the fun outgoing girl that she is now. I'm grateful for this place and I feels sad that my daughter will leave for school soon.

My daughter has been going to Nursery since June 2022. I cannot thank the girls enough, nothing is ever too much trouble, I feel content and happy knowing my daughter is safe in their hands, she loves to tell me about her day on the way home, we love receiving photos of what she's been doing and key

My son started nursery around four months ago. He was born in lockdown so had little access to other children and adults. I was very apprehensive sending him to nursery but it is honestly the best choice I have made for him! He's settled so well considering he only goes one or two days maximum a week.
Due to my job, my shifts are different every week so we use the flexi route which is brilliant. I have to drop my son off at 6.45 am. The nursery provides childcare at those times which is so helpful as other nurseries I looked at started after my shift begins.
My son has really settled and the staff are so good with him! Any worries I have they are so quick to help me! The app is also brilliant, updates throughout the day, which is so lovely!

This nursery is so perfect. It took my son some time to settle in but the bond he has with the staff is so special and I am so grateful to them for the time and love that they have given him. It takes a lot of trust to leave your child in the care of someone else and I feel completely confident in all

I was reluctant to send my little girl to the school, as I was very nervous for her to be anywhere without me, I was made very comfortable and found all staff very approachable and welcoming. They're polite and happy to help in any way they can. The nursery is always clean and tidy and they always have
different activities for the kids. All the photos I receive of my little girl show how much fun she has in nursery and I'm just so pleased that we chose to put her in your school.

Our daughter loves being in the creche, she has come along leaps and bounds, she loves playing with the other children and it has made her more sociable around adults.
We would like to see a personal review about how she has developed, things she has learnt and her behaviour with activities/learning/other
children.
We use the creche for one day a week (mainly for costs) would love for her to be able to attend more frequently but we don't get free childcare.
We love the app and that we can see how she's doing throughout her day.

Our little boy has only been with the nursery a few months, but the manager and the team have gone above and beyond to make sure he is settled in and have even put in extra measures to help with his health and medication needs.
Our little boy has never eaten so much; he adores the food and has the
biggest smile on his face when we see daily pictures. This has put our minds at ease that we’ve made the best decision when we enrolled him!

Me and my children all love this nursery! They are so lovely to my children, and they all absolutely love the staff!
They have been a lifeline for me by providing the school drop off for my 4 and 6-year-olds.
They are also brilliant at providing play schemes during school holidays.
The food is always
lovely and varied, and my children enjoy eating there. The tasks that the children do are always so inventive, creative and fun. The staff are always accommodating to my 6-year-olds interests when he attends play scheme, and he loves being treated like one of the older ones with staff encouraging his reading and love of making comics.
My 2-year-old daughter attends full time and has thrived. Her speech has come on in great leaps and she is now fully potty trained, which is a testament to the commitment of staff working with her.
I also love the app and always look forward to the daily updates and photos.

My son started at nursery when he was 8 months old and the nursery helped me feel at ease with leaving him there. I feel confident he is being well looked after and is happy and safe whilst there. The nursery app is excellent, I can see how my son is doing throughout the day - what he eats, when he
naps etc. and I get a picture of him being involved in an activity that I look forward to every day. This is great peace of mind. The nursery is quick to respond to any messages I send on the app.


The variety of activities they do is so excellent. The variety of healthy foods each day is also very good. My son is very happy to be dropped off and smiles when he sees the nursery staff. He clearly enjoys his days at nursery and we are really happy with how he has settled in, which makes us feel comfortable when we are at work that he is being well looked after.

Excellent nursery. The staff are amazing with my daughter. People always comment on how advanced my daughter is and I believe I owe a lot of this to the nursery. As a full-time working mother, they put my mind at ease and I know my daughter is in great hands. They have always been very helpful with
any advice I ask. The family app is also very good. I love the updates on how my daughter is doing and the pictures. Would highly recommend this nursery.

I can’t thank the staff at this nursery enough, they have made going back to work that bit less stressful. Seeing my child want to go in and get excited when we pull up in the car is brilliant. They do different activities each day and we can see pictures as well which is a massive positive for any
proud parent. My child is so comfortable there and enjoys his time in the nursery, not even looking back going through the door. I’ve really seen my child come on leaps and bounds in the few months he’s attended. The positive influence they have had really shows. Only thing is, I’d love to just sit and watch through the window at him playing but that may be a bit strange!

Kasey and her team aim to deliver the very best of care for the families of Bridgend and beyond. She joined our nursery family in 2018, she has always aspired to work with children since leaving full-time education, She followed her dream and has now been working and supporting children's development for over ten years!


Kasey Joined as our under 2's supervisor later progressing to Deputy manager and now has taken on the Senior role of Manager.


"Working with children has always been my ambition! It's such a rewarding job, being a part of a child's first few years of life is such an honour. Every day is different and they guarantee to put a big smile on my face every day"
