Baby Acorns in Roath near Cardiff city centre, is a bright, spacious nursery with beautiful gardens.

It has sensory equipment, toys and activities to nurture babies and toddlers and encourage them to explore new colours, shapes and activities.

When a baby reaches the age of two and a half, a partner nursery in Oakfield Street will welcome them as they move up, along with their group and key carer.

The children receive nutritious fresh food to feed healthy minds and healthy bodies. The children benefit from a tasty breakfast, a two course lunch, high tea and a 5.30 pm snack. Cooking activities are popular at the nursery, with the children eager to take part in food tasting sessions.

A Forest school, sensory play, music and movement and many other activities all contribute to each child's development.

Home from home environment, my son settled in really well. We were really pleased they offered settling before he started. Staff were friendly. The security was very good. Feedback given was 'is always personal'.

Both my sons have attended this nursery. Staff are friendly, caring and although there is a big gap between our boys most staff are still there so the continuity to us as a family is really reassuring.
The nursery is clean and spacious and very homely. The garden is beautiful and they encourage the
children to grow fruits and vegetables.
Staff are qualified and they seem really happy and content which gives us the confidence leaving our little boy.
We viewed many nurseries, although this one a little more expensive I have no hesitation recommending.
The nursery cook is really helpful as our son has a number of allergies. Menus are healthy and nutritious and our son seems to eat better in nursery !
Our son is really happy here.

Claire has recently moved from her position at Acorns House and after maternity leave has joined the team at Baby Acorns as Manager. She likes to welcome the children and parents in the mornings and especially enjoys messy play and singing circle.
