First Class Nursery has been operating since 2006 from the former community centre in the historic Livingston Village. The Nursery is situated in an attractive stone building with two secure, private gardens forming part of the grounds.

There is also access to local Forests and Parks for kids to play outside, and the Nursery is a member of a local wildlife park which they regularly take kids on outings too.

The Nursery is in partnership with West Lothian Council and can offer funded places for kids aged 3-5.

My daughter has really enjoyed her time at First class nursery and we are sad that this will be her final month after attending for nearly 3 years. She always seems to enjoy the food and the staff are very creative with the activities they arrange for them. The back garden has plenty to keep them entertained
and sometimes they go out in local area (farm, care home etc). The staff are very approachable and happy to help with anything I ask of them.

We have two children in different rooms in the nursery and all staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. Our kids love coming to nursery and are coming on so much in their learning too. It is clear that the staff know our children well and know what approaches to take with each of them to get
the best from them or comfort them, etc.

The staff are always so helpful, remember everything about your child's day and provide a full handover at the end of day. My child is so happy at nursery and enjoy their days there will lots of friendships formed.

We're so happy we sent our boy to first class nursery, after a rocky start with another service we were worried he wouldn't settle. He settled in so quickly at 9 months thanks to the incredible staff. The staff are absolutely fantastic and the service overall is amazing they really go above and beyond.
The staff are clearly passionate about what they do. He absolutely loves going to nursery he loves everything that they do with the babies. We get updates after each day via the app it's so lovely to see what he has been getting up to. He is absolutely thriving at first class in all aspects. We couldn't ask for anything more.

My granddaughters absolutely love going to this nursery and have developed so much since being there. The staff are lovely and keep you well informed on your child's day.

Two of my sons have attended this nursery, one is now in school and one is in preschool. We love the family atmosphere at the nursery, the staff are brilliant, always organising events and involving parents especially around Christmas. My son loves the 'forest school' and being outside which is highly
encouraged. He has thrived in this atmosphere and made some lovely friends.

Our daughter loves going to the nursery and always tells us she had a good day when she comes home. The staff are friendly and welcoming and give you an in depth breakdown of their day at handover. Always lots of activities being planned and carried out very well, and the communication internally and

I'm so grateful for the nursery and the amazing staff who care for my child. She loves going in,and it's clear they create a nurturing environment!
The staff always take the time to share what she's been up to, what she ate, and any fun activities she participated in. The thoughtful, themed activities
are always engaging, both indoors and outdoors.


It's the dedication of the entire team-from management to trainees-that truly makes this nursery so so special. I also love the social media updates on Facebook which help me feel connected to her day.

Lovely nursery. My little girl gets very excited about going and loves telling us all the activities she’s been doing and the adventures she’s been on with her friends.

We moved to Scotland in August last year, and the warmth and welcome you guys have given us and our daughter is overwhelming.

Both of my children have attended First Class Nursery since they were babies, one is now at school and the other is about to start preschool. I have watched both girls strive whilst attending this nursery, and they have built some really strong and positive connections with some of the staff. Management

Both my children have been to this nursery from babies to preschool and both have thrived here. Staff organise a wide range of activities, when my son has shown a particular interest in a character, they have tailored activities around this. Would definitely recommend First Class Nursery.

Our daughter started First Class Nursery last August and her development has been amazing since starting here. She is kept stimulated and has learned a lot so far. The staff who look after her have always been fabulous and so helpful! We felt instantly at ease when we visited at first and she did settle
quickly into nursery life. She has just transitioned to the older room, again with ease because of the staff involved and how well looked after she is. The staff are always welcoming and pleased to see us. We are kept up to date with the learning in the nursery via social media and the learning journals page.
We are so pleased we chose First Class Nursery!

We absolutely love this nursery, my little boy is so happy going in - he gets so excited just walking past. The staff are absolutely brilliant with him too. They are very friendly and easy to talk to.
When he first came in he was welcomed and we were put at ease knowing he was in safe hands.
We
are kept up to date every day with what he has been doing and the staff are very good at knowing nap times/how much sleep, feeding and nappy changes etc.
They do a lot of different activities and I feel my son has come on so much since starting in December.
I am so glad we changed to this nursery as I have never felt so comfortable leaving my child in a nursery setting (I’ve 2 children and my son has attended 2). This is a credit to the staff and management.

The staff at this nursery is amazing. My little boy hardly spoke a word a year ago and now he won't stop talking. The staff are so caring towards the kids and keep the parents updated with what they have been up to. I can definitely recommend this nursery to whoever is looking for one.

My child loves going to nursery. We get a good amount of updates and it's great to hear what they've been up to during the day. The staff are interested in what the toddlers are learning about outside of the nursery and I think the themed trays are brilliant and are related to things they've been up
to at weekends. It's really good to see them going out to parks and doing outdoor days.

This is my second child to attend First Class Nursery and she is loving it! Always excited when it's a nursery day! Even when she was a bit wobbly at separating from us, she was quickly soothed by staff who were so nurturing towards her. Grandparents have been collecting her for the first time recently
and all have been impressed and very complimentary about the detailed information they get told about her day.
