Livingston Nursery has been recently renovated with modern features fitted to improve services for children attending the nursery.   Children between the age of 0 and 5 are cared for at Livingston Nursery, which is part of the Wee Gems nursery group.

The nursery has an in house chef and kitchen where healthy meals are prepared and served to children every day. There is a four-week menu to ensure children receive a varied diet, with special considerations made for children with extra dietary needs.

Wee Gems Livingston boasts from exceptional natural gardens as well as access to woodland directly from the nursery grounds via a secure gate (fully supervised).

Wee Gems nurseries have a free flow policy allowing children to access the outdoor facility as long as the children wish, all supported by the professional team who support the children's learning needs.

Our little boy joined the nursery back in October 2024. The manager gave me a tour of the nursery & was warm & friendly, I instantly got a positive feel for the nursery.
The staff are all so kind/ caring & positive. Our little boy often struggles with drop off and can get quite emotional and the staff
quickly swoop in to reassure him giving cuddles and letting him wave at the window. They also reassure me by sending a message on the app to let me know he has settled and is enjoying his day. We had a parents night phone call yesterday evening and it was very clear that they know our little boy extremely well, his personality and his likes/ dislikes. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery & im very glad we chose you.

Outstanding service , the nursery staff have brought my son on leaps and bounds , the bond he has with some staff is amazing .
I had so many doubts to put my son in to nursery as he is not even two yet and to leave him with strangers the stress it caused me as a mum but to see how much he is coming
on and how much he does love it , best decision ever, it's all thanks to wee gems ,
The manager also , so kind and very welcoming , thanks ladies for all the work you do!!!!

Wee Gems is a wonderful nursery. My daughter learns a great deal, she is always in her best moments from the nursery. I greatly recommend Wee Gems. Wonderful staff, ever-smiling, friendly and caring team. I have not had any bad or negative experiences since we joined the nursery.

Amazing staff members. Very polite and kind. Keep the good work up. I am updated daily regarding the activities of my child. My concerns are listened and addressed by the staff. As a parent, the safety of your child is the biggest concern, but every morning at drop off, I feel safe and that my child
will be looked after and cared for.

Cannot fault the care at Wee Gems Nursery. The little boy loves going and seems to have a very good relationship with the staff. Staff were all very friendly at pick up and drop off with no hesitation to answer any questions.
Plenty of updates throughout the day on the app provided too.

Wee Gems is a fantastic nursery with amazing staff. I haven't had one single issue or bad day with these guys. Highly recommended! Always great when I need an ad hoc day and my daughter has great bonds with the staff.

Fantastic nursery, my daughter loves it here and never wants to leave at home time. She has made friends, excelled in her knowledge and confidence, and is always well taken care of. They always do lots of activities every day with the children and make sure all children are involved. The staff are always
really friendly and easy to talk to. Overall I am really happy with this nursery and the way it is run and wouldn't take my daughter anywhere else.

My child has been attending this setting for over 3 years and despite a few hiccups in the beginning, I cannot fault them. The new management have made brilliant improvements, from decorating, improving communication, implementing exciting activities for the kids, remodelling the garden and generally
making the setting more inviting for everyone. My child has excellent relationships with the key workers, other staff and the children. They love nursery and telling us about all of the activities they've taken part in at the end of the day. The kids are fed well at all meal times with a varied menu through the week which is regularly updated and have access to fruit and water throughout the day. They are also encouraged to brush their teeth, regularly wash their hands and have easy access to the bathroom. If you're looking for a private nursery in Livingston I can't recommend Wee Gems enough.

Wee Gems is a great nursery. My daughter loves it there, she had a bad experience before she started and the settling-in days really helped and the staff were very understanding. I have nothing negative to say about this nursery and would recommend it to anyone!

My children enjoy nursery very much. They have made friends and have come on in confidence. There could be some improvements to meals or alternatives as these do not seem to be offered very often. There are delayed/issues moving kids from room to room which is having a financial impact on us. The reasons
for this are unclear, could be due to short staffing. The staff are lovely and seem to genuinely enjoy their roles within the nursery. This nursery is pretty expensive and with the increasing prices not much has changed. Children are not taken out with the facility very often which used to be a regular occurrence when our eldest first started.

My daughter has been attending one day a week since August. She's now 8 months and has been supported to meet her milestones. We love getting updates about her day and what she has done. It's so lovely to see how happy my wee one is when she arrives at nursery, she loves it there and loves all the adults
that care for her. I am a big advocate on ensuring children are receiving warm, nurturing and caring experiences in their environments out of the home, and I can't fault Wee Gems in this at all.

My youngest daughter has been attending since turning one and has come on leaps and bounds since starting. All the staff are great, always friendly and supportive. Their lovely nature put any anxieties I had at ease and my little one is really happy there. Cannot recommend this nursery enough, all the
staff are truly exceptional!

My son has been at Wee Gems for almost 2 years and in that time he has been cared for by the most amazing teams. The spaces in the rooms are kept clean and tidy whilst also being engaging and fun. The learning and development that has come from the nursery is so obvious to see and I’m so thankful to
the team for their passion and drive. I was so excited about the garden makeover, it looks brilliant, although some work still to be done, the intentions are clear and it will hopefully be a totally awesome place for the kids to thrive outdoors.
The management has had some hiccups over the years, although they have been in a much stronger position for a good period now and it’s clear to see how much effort and hard work has gone on by the teams to make Wee Gems the nursery to have your child in.

My son has been attending Wee Gems since he was 11 months old. Now 2, and he loves going to nursery here. The staff are all amazing with him and his development has come on leaps and bounds. The nursery setting and resources are brilliant, and the girls in his room take time to plan out activities based
on themes, which my son loves taking part in.

We Gems Livingston has been the best possible environment for our girls to develop within. All of the staff are nurturing and focused, catering to the specific needs of each child. The management are quick to respond to feedback and implement new changes to benefit the staff and children.
The rooms
are all set up to encourage involvement in learning, art and fun - with quiet places to nap or relax.


It was impossible not to score every aspect as Excellent - because the service provided here is unparalleled. We have found the interactions, learning opportunities and staff engagement as simply fantastic and I would despair at the idea of my kids going anywhere else.
Wee Gems has played a positive, pivotal role in the development of our children that will be with them for the rest of their lives.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since February. She loves going and loves all the staff here. All the staff are passionate and caring about the kids and help with their development. I love the fact that they use the app and keep parents updated throughout the day. Staff and management are
easy to talk to. Also love that they have the kids out to play in the garden, walks and at the park and everyday is a warm meal for lunch.
Definitely would recommend it.

In the last few months, the nursery has seen change within the setting ie cleaning, decorating, better layout and areas of interest. The nursery seems brighter, more inviting and more organised than before.
I think the change in management has encouraged change, development, initiative and engagement
with the employees and the setting seems to be more structured with the learning and development of children. Updates and interactions via the app are more frequent and good for tracking progress and development. My child continues to learn new skills and feels supported in her development, she is happy and enjoys her time at nursery.
