Busy Bees Livingston provides a welcoming environment for families and children. Our twin boys have quickly settled into nursery at Busy Bees Quarywood. They are full of smiles and chatter when we pick them up which tells me they have had a fun and happy day. The staff have been great and helping them adapt to this new experience. Despite the boys being only 13 months old, we see
regular arts and crafts work which is great to receive and shows the varied activities they participate in.
The app is also really good and helping me understand how they’ve been through the day with eating, napping etc.

I am so delighted that I chose Busy Bees at Livingston - Quarrywood Court to take care of my son. He has now been attending for almost a year and he is absolutely thriving! He is exceeding in his development and I have to thank his wonderful carers and the nursery manager for taking such good care of
him. He is a happy child and loves going to his nursery. When he first attended he was crawling and is now talking. The development milestones he has achieved is really due to the amazing care and activities the nursery provides. I love the app as I get to see on a live basis what he is eating, how much he has slept and the activities he gets up to. I really have to stress how lovely all the nursery teachers and carers are. He absolutely loves them and they do an amazing job. I would highly recommend the Busy Bees at Livingston - Quarrywood Court as they have taken such good care of my boy especially over the pandemic. They provide quality service, have high standards of safety and you can trust them to take care of your child.

Very satisfied with the overall care of my child, I will highly recommend it to other parents or carers. Friendly staff, excellent facilities, a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities, a healthy menu and a wide range of times and days for your child to attend.

My daughter went to Busy Bees Quarrywood Court from three years to five years of age. She showed tremendous development and enjoyed being at the nursery. The staff were absolutely friendly, like a family. They showed special care with food alternatives, as my wee one is a fussy eater. They customised
playtime according to her needs like dressing up, storytime etc. Each and everyone was very friendly and flexible with various changes in sessions due to my work changes. I felt very safe and secure whenever my daughter was at the nursery. We will definitely miss them.

I was a bit worried about sending my child to nursery with the situation regarding Covid-19, but the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff put me at ease and left me feeling confident my child was in safe hands. He's loving his time there.

My child loves coming to Busy Bees at Livingston - Quarrywood Court. She is always made to feel welcome by the staff. She has a dairy allergy and the chef and staff are always very good with providing suitable food for her. She always tells me about the great time she has had and about all the fun

I cannot speak highly enough of this nursery. As a parent, I feel happy and confident to leave my child knowing that he will be cared for by the professional and caring staff who always have time to speak to you, however busy they are.
I am constantly updated on his development and love hearing about
all the wonderful experiences he has during the day. Thank you so much to the nursery team.

It is not me really who is writing review but my daughter who doesn't want to leave Busy Bees.
I have never seen her this happy than ever in any nursery (she was in a different one previously)
No more precious things than the child asking to be dropped off early and picked up late because she doesn't
want to miss fun, friends, staff and food!
Absolutely brilliant place xxx

My son has settled into the nursery really well and looks forward to coming in to see the familiar staff in his room and his friends.
If he does not like what is on the menu, he is always offered an alternative. My little boy has come on really well and enjoys doing different activities, sensory, musical
and physical. The staff are doing really well with trying to get him to try new things, painting, messy play and play dough as he's not very keen on getting messy.

I was a bit apprehensive about putting my Granddaughter into daycare/nursery and researched all the nurseries in my area. I decided on Busy Bees and I'm really glad I did. The staff have been excellent with the wee one helping her settle in, they give me a full run down on how her day has been which
puts my mind at rest. I'm really looking forward to seeing her grow in confidence and enjoy the nursery experience.

Our little boy started in January 2017 and loves nursery. I was a bit apprehensive about returning to work full-time and leaving him/putting him in full-time nursery, however, the staff have been amazing. My son has settled really well, loves his key workers and is developing really well for his age.
Could not recommend this nursery highly enough. The staff are fantastic, very informative, helpful and he always seems extremely happy in their presence. The food is prepared fresh each day and he loves being able to feed himself already. The fees are slightly more expensive than other nurseries in the area but well worth it as I have no concerns leaving him now.

My Son loves going to Nursery. Staff are engaged with the children and take time to get to know them. Also, staff are very friendly and welcoming. Staff take time to develop a positive relationship with parents. Would recommend Busy Bees to anyone.

Jennifer MacMillan

Job Title: Centre Director

Hello, my name is Jennifer MacMillan and I am the new Centre Director at Busy Bees Livingston Village.
I have over 19 years’ experience working with children and young people in various roles and have worked with all age ranges. I have completed my BA Childhood Practice degree and, I completed my SVQ assessors award where I have supported candidates through their own childcare qualifications.
Before starting Busy Bees in Livingston, I was a successful childminder who was awarded Excellence in my last inspection. I am a very passionate about working at Livingston Village and I am here to ensure the children receive a high-quality service and that the staff are provided with the right guidance and support to excel within their roles.
