Thrive Teviot House Nursery situated on Spylaw Road allows children to develop thanks to the carefully designed and implemented play experiences.

A converted, detached villa makes for a spacious and fun environment, where new interests and numerous activities to help a young mind develop can flourish.

They are delighted to have been awarded NMT Nursery Group Award 2018.

The excellent staff team are at the centre of everything the nursery does, providing quality care and education for all children. The nursery has placed a strong focus on building a team of staff that is both motivated and qualified, with low staff turnover and a continuity that parents can feel positive about.

The nursery has multiple outdoor play areas as well as bright and engaging indoor playrooms with a variety of stimulating resources including an interactive digi-table which the children love!

Included in the fees are a quality early years care and education, freshly prepared two-course lunch and snacks throughout the day, nursery pets and a celebration of festivals throughout the year.

Staff are lovely and take a genuine interest in the children. They seem to do lots of different activities with them. My son certainly learns a lot at the nursery. Perhaps more time could be spent outside in the garden when the weather permits.

Our toddler started at the nursery when she was 11 months old and since then we have been very happy with the care she has been given.
All the staff we have met are really lovely and good and we feel reassure that she is in good hands.

The Corner House Day Nursery has been a 'home away from home' for both our children. Knowing our children are safe, happy and achieving is of great importance to us, and we are very confident that this is the case to us, and we are very confident that this is the case at Corner House Day Nursery.
Our
children are known by all the staff, not just the key worker. Upon arrival each day it is so reassuring to experience such a welcoming environment. The staff are actively engaged in delivering a varied programme of activities each day. There are a range of cultural experiences celebrated and our children are encouraged to be responsible citizens. The manager is exceptional - always putting the needs of the children first!

Corner House is to me personally the best place for my child to be at. Staff are fantastic, attending to his needs so carefullt. Hew always has something nice to say about the teachers when he comes home. What impresses me the most is the fact that they are always ready to go the extra mile to support
with his development (customising activities and rewards to meet certain expectations).
He feels loved by the teachers and tells us different staff are his best friends!! When he has difficulties due to a new sibling in the family, he was being offered extra care and support to help go through this chapter. On a day off he will ask to go to nursery! Says it all to us!
