Our daughter started when she was 16 months and now is nearly 4. She enjoys going to the nursery where she has lots of friends. The nursery is small with a very homely atmosphere where children feel as though being with the teachers is like being with the family. Teachers are creative and willing to
think of more and more activities. As a qualified Early Years practitioner with experience within different nurseries and also having my daughter in other places short term we decided to keep her with Little Flyers, even if we moved out the area in the meantime and can get another nursery closer to home, simply because this is a great place for our child!

My daughter has been going to this nursery for almost two years and we both absolutely love it! The staff are absolutely amazing and so welcoming. The outside space is fab and secure. It's great knowing I can go to work and my daughter is having a great day either indoors with lots of activities or
outdoors exploring. Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

Selecting a nursery can be difficult and on viewing nurseries, it felt more like we needed to fit their schedule rather than ours, which really shouldn’t be the case. Until we came across Little Flyers. I work shifts on a 5-week rotation so no two weeks are the same, with Little Flyers I can submit
our requirements for the coming month during the month prior. This means I’m not having to just put my son into the nursery to keep his place whilst I’m sat at home which other nurseries required. The settle in sessions meant for a smooth transition for my son, and he loves his time there. The app is brilliant, allowing you to track how your baby is getting on including meals, nappy changes and nap times. I expected to be nervous to leave my firstborn at nursery, but I don’t feel worried at all knowing he’s in great hands, learning new skills and being supported in his development. The outdoor area was a huge plus for us and I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

I rate this nursery, as I and my wife can go to work with peace of mind knowing that our daughter is safe, happy and content. The staff and the other children are lovely and very friendly as if they are all one big happy family.

Excellent nursery with friendly and caring staff. Our boy has been attending for over a year, and he's been really enjoying it. Staff tell us about how our kid's day has been, what activities they have been doing. When I go to pick him up in the afternoon, they also provide a child development report
on a regular basis which is great.

Our child has only been here a few days so far but he is thoroughly enjoying himself. The flexibility of the nursery was of huge importance to us and our first impression of the nursery was great; as there is a great focus on the outdoor element for the children, which we feel is superb. The team were
great at answering our queries prior to enrolling in the nursery and let us know all the information beforehand, they did try to make the whole process as simple as possible and the settling in days were a smooth transition for our child. The App they have set up really is a great feature, allowing parents to see how their child has been throughout the day and I’m sure saving countless questions from parents on pick up each day. Highly recommend this nursery.

Little Flyers is a fantastic nursery. Our older son has been attending for over three years now and his brother joined him last year. The nursery has a lovely family feel and we really like that it’s quite a small setting so feels very personal. The boys have formed strong bonds with the lovely staff
and the team go out of their way to help. Highly recommended!

This is a nursery with a true heart, I cannot recommend Little Flyers enough. It is a home from home. It was a homely, close-knit feel, the smaller numbers provide a very attentive and detailed approach to ensure all that our child requires is set up to ensure the best and most personalised care is
given. The excellent outdoor space is great and the amount of time the staff spend with them outside regardless of the weather was a massive selling point for us. The hands-on approach by the owners who know who each child is, I imagine to be unique, the genuine care and interest in the children is fantastic. This nursery stands out against others as there is not the same clinical feel to the staff or facilities we have found in others we have viewed. Our daughter has thrived during her year there, so much so, as soon as we had a 12-week scan for our second, we had her signed up straight away. This nursery doesn’t utilise screens and has replaced plastic with wooden and charity sourced resources.

My daughter has been attending Little Flyers for 5 months now and she absolutely loves it. She is well looked after and all the staff are friendly and knowledgable. There has been quite a high staff turnover recently which is a shame but the ones who have stayed consistent are brilliant with my daughter.
The food is great and she loves spending time outdoors, the nursery try to do this as much as possible which is brilliant.

My little girl has been in the Little Flyers since January and I can say now that I am so glad to have chosen them after a quick research.
Very helpful from the beginning. Staff always friendly and happy to answer all questions.
My little girl likes all the activities and meals which are healthy.
Also built a nice relationship with one of the Teachers - means a lot to me.
What is more, I am a student with Childcare funding from College - that was no problem at all. I was welcome to enrol and the Manager prepared all documents I asked her for very quickly. Would definitely recommend to everybody! The place is small and cosy as a family house. Thank you all :-)

My daughter loves her nursery days and always has a lot to tell me when I collect her. She loves the garden especially and the chickens. The activities planned always seem to be fun filled but also educational and the extra activities that are planned and offered for your child to do are always relevant,
fun and educational. It is a great environment and I know that I do not have to worry about my daughter when she is at nursery.

We fell in love with this nursery as soon as we walked in the door. The staff were so welcoming and it has such a homely feel. What I love is no matter the weather, they are outdoors and our son loves it that much, that every morning he wakes up he asks if he can go to nursery to see his friends. Which
does make it easier for us as parents to leave him at a place he loves while we are at work. Our son has been at this nursery for about a year and a half now and the comments we get from friends and family saying how well he has developed for 2 years old. We even notice it ourselves when he is with other kids his age that don’t attend nursery yet. What I also like is that we are told on every session when we collect him, what he has been up to that day. The food they get as well is such a variety and homemade meals, so we know he is getting fed properly. We could not recommend this nursery enough, the staff and setting of this venue are by far the best!!

We were so pleased when we managed to get places for our twins at Little Flyers @ Ingliston, having heard such great reviews about the nurseries. We have only been there a week, but so far I am very impressed. There are lots going on both indoors and outdoors. Kids out playing and getting plenty of
fresh air and even some chickens for them to collect eggs from! Indoors is very natural and calming for the children - not in your face like a lot of places are.


The whole settling in period has been wonderful and reassuring for both myself and them. The staff have been great. Friendly, caring and trustworthy.


The start of a fab journey for the whole family.

Our little boy love, love, LOVES coming to Little Flyers nursery. We are so glad we chose this nursery for our baby and can't imagine him going anywhere else! All the staff are really lovely and friendly. They made me feel welcome during settling in sessions and continue to make us feel welcome when
dropping and picking up our son. They inform us of our son's day and do lots of different activities throughout the day. It makes going to work so much easier when dropping him off knowing he loves going. I like that the indoors is quite small and cosy and that the outdoors is huge. He spends quite a bit of time outside in the garden which I like as I'm keen for him to enjoy the outdoors. He loves the sandpit and the swing! I work rostered shifts and this nursery have happily accommodated me which is a big weight off my mind. Thank you for making our nursery experience so fab!

I've loved Little Flyers from the minute I went to visit. You're always greeted with a big smile on arrival and all the staff seem to know all the children really well. They've got lots of time for the children (and parents!) and are always on the floor getting involved with what ever activity they
are doing. They spend a lot of time outdoors and the rain never seems to stop them which I love! I was worried about going back to work but the staff made it easy and after a few days I felt like I was just dropping her off at a family member's house.

This is our first child's nursery experience and he really enjoys it, he loves the activities and seems to enjoy the food menu for breakfast and lunch. He is currently being toilet trained so the nursery has been involved in this and regularly toilet trains him at the nursery. We only had a small concern
recently of him not being wiped properly after a missed toilet incident, which we fed back and received a quick response. Other than that, minor issues, we as parents feel very happy for our son to be attending the nursery, his social skills/speech is great and he has found some nice friends his own age, which again we are very pleased with.

Since my child started nursery last year he has come on brilliantly. He loves going to nursery. The staff are very friendly and the facilities are great.
The nursery is small but the garden is really big and I like how I know my child is playing outside most of the time he is there.

A fantastic nursery. My son has attended Little Flyers since he was 10 months old and I will be very sad to see him leave. The nursery is a great size - it really allows for greater care and attention to the kids and gives it a lovely family feel. The garden area is fantastic, so many activities to
keep them occupied and really get them involved with the outdoors.
My son is now a preschooler and over the course of his time at Little Flyers I have watched him become a more sociable and confident boy who's learning needs are continually being met.
