Happitots Nursery Glasgow Airport is a purpose-built facility, ideally located for busy local parents to manage their childcare needs.

The interior is made up of well-resourced playrooms, that are large and spacious, allowing children a depth of new experiences to help learning develop.

Each playroom has access to extensive garden areas offering regular outdoor learning opportunities. From slides to swings, climbing frames to nature trails, children love their outdoor adventures at Happitots.

Activities are carefully planned to suit each and every child’s individual needs and personal interests. Carers follow the Realising the Ambition in younger age groups and the curriculum for excellence in the 3-5 room.

The staff team comprises a blend of mature, experienced and professionally qualified childcare practitioners and trainees working towards their qualifications. Staff are dedicated to treating children with patience, affection, enthusiasm and understanding.

Happitots supports Sport Relief and Comic Relief each year and children love all the activities they participate in.

They are delighted to have been awarded NMT nursery group award 2018.

A recognised Investor In People and Eco-Schools Centre, Happitots operates in partnership with Renfrewshire Council to offer funded sessions.

From my experience, I honestly can’t think of a bad thing to say, staff are absolutely brilliant! Always keeping us parents updated on how our child’s day has gone and what they’ve been up to. Also, what they’ve had to eat and things like that. They have also got an app where they take photos of your
child doing activities during that day, usually, which is a great thing. My child loves it, always happy!

We have used Happitots Nursery for a good few years now, and our kids have always been happy to go! The staff are all very welcoming, like a home from home.
I have always felt happy dropping my kids here, knowing that they will be safe and looked after well. They have a great outdoor space and have
the kids out most days in the garden or walks on the nature trail.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since September, and she loves it! The staff are so attentive and caring. Our daughter has come on so much since starting nursery with her talking, walking and social skills, and we are very grateful to all of the staff for aiding with this.
Would recommend

My daughter has been attending Happitots for nearly a year now, and she loves it. The staff are very friendly, and my girl loves going to nursery in the mornings.
Activities are well thought out and help develop her learning.
Grounds are kept very clean and tidy.

Lovely staff and good outdoor space.
Child loves it.
Parking can be a bit awkward at peak hours, and the parking area gets muddy when it rains, but I'm aware they're fixing it up very soon.
Great flexibility for scheduling!

Our daughter has been attending this nursery for just over a year now, and absolutely loves it and has learned so much.
The staff are great and so friendly; they know our daughter so well, even though she attends only a few days a month, and she knows them all so well and is comfortable with them
all.
The meals and snacks provided are varied, and our daughter always seems to finish everything!
Also, very rare to find somewhere that caters to shift workers, so we’re very grateful for the hard work the staff do to accommodate this and are very flexible with last-minute changes.

We have been using Happitots for 5 years and we are very pleased with how the staff care for and nurture our children. Although they have had some feedback recently, they have worked hard to action improvements and the staff all work incredibly hard. Our boys receive a tailored approach to their care
and enjoy their time there.

My daughter has been at Happitots for the past four years, and my son went there for four years too before he started primary one. I was initially drawn to the nursery due to its flexibility with shift patterns and handy location en route to work, and both my children have had the most supportive and
enriching experience while they’ve been there. They have the most amazing outdoor space which a lot of other nurseries I looked at didn’t have. The staff are fantastic and have helped my children come on leaps and bounds with their development, along with supporting any issues I was having at home (such as fussy eating and toilet training) it really has been a home away from home for them where I know they are loved and cared for. I’ll be sad when my little girl leaves for primary one after the summer.

Both my children attend this setting, one of whom is now leaving for school this year after being in the setting since 1. Over the last year, the staff and management team have been implementing lots of change, and the environment looks more warm and homey than ever. The staff in the baby room have
been fantastic in accommodating my youngest child’s allergies. My oldest has thrived there, and I feel like she is so ready to start her new journey this year at school, and that’s down to the care she’s received during her time here.

My daughter attends the nursery and absolutely loves it! She has come along leaps and bounds, regularly they go outside to the garden and walk around the airport area which she absolutely loves, they are always doing different fun activities every day The meals and snacks are very nutritious as well!
The staff are so welcoming and treat the children so well!

My son has been attending Happitots since he was 6 months old, he has adjusted so well! The staff in both the baby room and Tweenie room have been fabulous, and nurturing and have had a great deal of impact on his growth and development! What I will say is since the new management team have stepped
up the nursery, has never been better! As a parent, I feel a lot more involved and up to date with his care, the girls have done an amazing job since starting their role and have definitely got the place up to the highest standards I’ve seen since my son started! I cannot commend them enough as management they are absolutely amazing and should be very proud of themselves! You can definitely tell they have spent a great deal of time revamping the nursery with all the displays throughout and organising the open day looked to be an incredible success and from personal experience was a really good day! I can say as a parent I am extremely happy with everything they have done and put in!

My son, who is now three, has been going to Happitots Glasgow Airport since he was 13 months and he loves it. His development immediately skyrocketed since starting and he hasn't stopped since. He loves telling me about what he's done every day and each time, it's a different activity or experience.
As he's moved up through the different rooms, the staff have encouraged and supported him through the transition. Every time he finds a new interest, the staff are immediately on hand to explore that with him. He recently discovered the solar system and when I picked him up the other day, the staff had been showing him the solar system wall they have and he could name all the planets!
I've just asked him what he thinks and he says 'I love it when we make play dough and play in the garden on the big slide'.
His little sister has now recently started as well and she is also thriving. I can't recommend Happitots Glasgow Airport enough.

My son recently moved from the baby room to the Tweenies and I cannot fault the way in which this was done to help him. He’s a child who doesn’t settle straight away into new surroundings and faces but the staff in both rooms made sure he was welcomed and supported in the transition. The feedback every
day on how he got on and the reassurance made me feel more comfortable about the change. He now goes in each day and doesn’t look back. The information and communication from both staff and management is brilliant. I feel better knowing he’s safe secure well looked after and more importantly loving his days in the nursery while I work. Nothing is ever an issue the nursery is so accommodating cannot recommend it enough.

The team at Happitots Glasgow Airport provide a wonderful setting for our child to grow and learn. He is nurtured and supported at all times and the staff understand his needs perfectly. We are onto our second (final and last) child going to Happitots at Glasgow airport which means we have been going in and out at least once a week for the last five years. I am of the belief that they are at their best over this time.
The staff have a real bounce about them alongside their competence
with great work for both kids.
The facilities are improving more and more and I’m really happy with it.
The menu and food are great (with flexibility and backup options when the two-year-old declines what is offered).
The flexibility is fantastic, each month childcare can be different which is very useful as a shift worker - my colleagues at more restrictive nurseries seem to have it tougher.

My daughter has been attending twice a week since she was 7 months old and, as first-time parents, it’s lovely to see she really enjoys her days at nursery.
It is such a lovely, warm and inviting space. There are always lots of fun activities to do which are combined with learning basic life skills
and about her surroundings.
All of the staff are wonderful, caring and so supportive. Our daily feedback is great and we really appreciate the picture updates.
Meal choices are excellent and there is a wide variety of healthy meals and snacks.
I would highly recommend it to anyone and feel very lucky to have such a wonderful and happy environment for my daughter to grow in.

My daughter loves going to nursery and always gets excited when we arrive. She has come on a lot since starting almost a year ago and we have noticed she is much more confident.
Staff are always very prompt at phoning us if there are any issues, it's always good to know they will be in touch even if
she's had a small bump on the head.
The menu is very varied and she always seems to enjoy her meals when at nursery.
We also really enjoyed the open day that took place recently. I would certainly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Our child loves the nursery and the staff are all great! They know her likes and dislikes and are always keen to get them involved in the play they enjoy! They get outdoors as often as they can and have regular messy play sessions which our daughter loves!

My daughter had her settle dates at the end of January and the nursery staff were absolutely great, as she wasn’t very good at being away from me and I was dreading how she would be - she did take a wee bit to settle, however now she is around 3-4 weeks into her actual nursery sessions and she has improved
so much. Not a lot of crying in the mornings and she seems to sleep better. The staff in her room are absolutely great and have helped her confidence so much and also encourage me that she is doing well, ie playing, eating and sleeping etc. I feel better knowing she is more comfortable being away from me and enjoys her nursery!
