Happitots Nursery Baillieston is in the Swinton area of Baillieston with easy links to the motorway network and public transport services, and their own car park allowing for easy and safe drop-offs and pick-ups.

Happitots staff comprises a blend of mature, experienced and professionally qualified nursery practitioners and trainees working towards their qualifications.

Delighted to have been awarded NMT Nursery Group Award 2018.

Playrooms within Happitots nursery are carefully planned and extensively resourced to create inspiring learning environments in which children can grow and learn in confidence. Extensive outdoor space and a purpose built baby unit. All playrooms have access to outdoor play areas offering the opportunity for regular outdoor learning experiences across all levels of the curriculum.

Carers provide a variety of stimulating experiences in promoting the birth to three guidelines. In the toddler room, children learn both indoors and outdoors within structured and stimulating environments promoting growth and development. They also provide a range of activities including Spanish and swimming for the children, with speech and language therapy available too.

Happitots operates in partnership with Glasgow City Council to offer funded pre-school sessions, various discounts including 10% off monthly invoice for Emergency Services employees, and providing a range of session patterns to suit all childcare needs including variable sessions, extra sessions, full and part-time.

The ladies who work at the nursery are absolutely lovely and my wee one looks forward to seeing them.


There are loads of fun activities, singing and sensory toys for my wee 10month old and she’s been a lot more independent since she started at the nursery.


I would happily recommend Happitots

for every child.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since January and she loves it!!! The ladies that work there know her really well even though she is only in once a week. It fills me with confidence that each time I pick her up they are able to tell me exactly what she has done that day or if they noticed
different behaviour which shows me they are paying attention and they know my little girl's personality. I also enjoy reading her diary each week which is detailed and shows me her eating and sleeping routine that day.
I also enjoy that it is easy to pay for my child’s place and they are very good at communicating through email or text.
The only negative I have would be that I would like to see new toys as some of them have been loved and played with for a while and need updating.
I would definitely recommend this nursery! It is a great size and there has always been enough staff for the number of children in their care. There is also a new door for the baby room which is very secure.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for the last 2 years and I couldn't be more happier with her development. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. My daughter loved going to nursery and always appears happy and content when she gets picked up to go home. I would highly recommend this

Happitots Nursery is a fantastic nursery. My oldest son attended Happitots and loved it. He learned so much when he was there and all the girls were great with him. They also have swimming sessions available. My son enjoyed going and gave him more confidence in the water. They have a lot of space for
playing in the back garden when the weather is good. There is a climbing frame with a slide, bikes, scooters etc. My youngest son also attends 2 days a week. He enjoys it and has come on leaps and bounds since starting. I highly recommend Happitots Nursery. They all do a fantastic job.

My 18-month-old son has been at Happitots Day Nursery Baillieston for 3 months now in the baby room and he’s come on in leaps and bounds. I’ve seen such a big change in the things he is able to do, including singing along to songs and doing the actions. The girls are obviously spending quality time
with him on his development and it shows. He’s settled in brilliantly and we feel so comfortable leaving him in their care. Would highly recommend to anyone, it really is such a fantastic nursery.

My little girl attends Happitots Day Nursery Baillieston and I could not be more impressed.
She has been there from September last year and settled in really quickly, thanks to the amazing team there.
My eldest daughter went here before attending school and was also very happy and settled.
The staff
are lovely, caring and very knowledgable, nothing is ever too much trouble and they are always available to speak to if ever I have any concerns, as are the management.
The food options are homemade and healthy and the girls there helped my little one to sit with others and encouraged her to try new things.
The environment is clean and there are lots of different things to go with the children, and lots of staff on hand to accommodate.
I couldn’t recommend highly enough.
I will be sad ,like the last time, when it is time to say goodbye to these fab girls when my little one moves on.

Happitots Day Nursery Bailleston is the happiest nursery we have ever used! From day 1 the staff have been welcoming and amazing and always so helpful. Massive thanks to the manager and her team for making sure I don’t need to worry about my baby while I’m at work!

My daughter started at Happitots Swinton in October 2017. It took a while to settle in but the girls and manager were so supportive and provided lots of settling in time.
My daughter came on in leaps and bounds very quickly in terms of her communication and social skills.
She now loves going to
nursery and looks forward to it every week. All of the girls who look after her couldn’t be nicer and we get regular updates via the online learning diary. The educational side is always built in to what the kids are doing. My daughter also enjoys her lunch and snacks and there is plenty of variety.
If you are thinking about sending your wee one to nursery, I would thoroughly recommend Happitots. Leaving your child to go to work is difficult but I trust the girls at Happitots 100% and my wee one is so happy there.

I was extremely grateful to all the staff at the nursery for being so understanding when I lost my brother in January this year. My brother was my wee boy's father figure and losing his uncle had an effect on him. The staff made a fuss of my wee boy and took extra special care with him to make him feel
better and I am very grateful for that. My son loves his nursery and all the staff, as do I.

The staff are very helpful and caring towards all of the children, my daughter included. Both of my children loved Happitots Baillieston, my daughter is very settled and happy there. The staff make her feel very welcome and she is always eager to come to nursery. I love how most of the girls have worked
there for a long period of time and also looked after my son during his time at nursery. This shows the staff are happy and dedicated to their work and the children. The children always have a wide range of activities to keep them engaged and my daughter also loves her swimming and dance lessons.

My nephew has attended Happitots for the past six months and could not praise the nursery enough!
The manager does a great job and manages the team very well, they are all very enthusiastic and motivated which I think is great for the ethos of the setting and engaging children within the nursery.
The nursery has excellent resources and the learning experiences are fantastic, children are stimulated well and this is very evident in the playrooms.
My nephew has been made to feel so welcome here and feel that staff have got to know him as an individual and is cared for well, would definitely recommend this nursery.

I am a returning parent with a child, after my two eldest children, one of which is now in high school. I was delighted to hear that the same members of staff that cared and nurtured my eldest daughter are still there. An outstanding nursery with knowledgeable staff.

This is a fantastic nursery with a large playroom, separate dining room and large outdoor play area. It is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The staff are friendly towards the children and my daughter seems very content and settled.
