Happitots Nursery Garrowhill is a purpose built building, situated within Garrowhill Park in the East End of Glasgow and is part of a well-established nursery group. They are delighted to have been awarded NMT Nursery Group Award 2018.

Happitots offers four age-appropriate playrooms that provide safe, engaging and stimulating play areas for children to play, learn and develop. Rooms are designed with children’s learning and development in mind and are well resourced with a variety of educational, messy play, physical, art and sensory play toys.

There are two small bespoke garden areas to the front of the nursery which also uses the adjoining park and church grounds for play and learning opportunities. Happitots make use of the local park, giving children opportunities to run around, play in the sand and improve their climbing skills.

Happitots Staff team are passionate and dedicated to the care of children and ensuring that children are safe and engaged throughout their time at nursery. All staff are fully disclosed and qualified or working towards a qualification in childcare.

Happitots operates in partnership with Glasgow City Council to offer funded pre-school sessions and provide a range of session patters to suit all childcare needs including variable session, extra sessions, full and part-time. Happitots offer a sibling discount and NHS staff discount.

Included in fees are quality early year’s care and education, healthy meals and snack.

We have had a very positive experience with the nursery. Our daughter has settled well and enjoys attending. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Would totally recommend.

I have two children in the nursery, in different room's. All staff are extremely caring and professional. My children love coming to nursery, have lots of friends and are comfortable with all the staff. They are developing the skills they need to learn and socialise. It is a great nursery.

Nursery is a very warm and friendly environment. The staff know children very well, and needs are met. The nursery has been flexible for us when required for extra session.
A good selection of activities are planned each day, and meals are freshly cooked on site.
The nursery is very clean.

My son has been here since he was six months old. The staff are fantastic. I have seen his abilities progress over the past two and a half years. The nursery offers a great selection of meals and snacks to give the kids each day. Upon pick up I am always told how my son has been, if he has napped and
what he has eaten. I also get pictures and feedback through the online site.
The nursery have regular yearly events and have a parents night so that both parties can chat about the progress of their child. This nursery also only closes between Christmas and New Year and it is always clean.
We are two full-time hard-working parents and the opening hours of 8-6 is great for pick up and drop off. Upon arrival we are always greeted with a smile by the staff and they acknowledge my child. I like the routine of sitting at a table for breakfast and lunch. The nursery has a garden which the kids can play in when the weather is okay. The manager is also approachable at any time. I would highly recommend it!

My wee girl has been attending Happitots Nursery Garrowhill since January, since starting she has come on leaps and bounds and loves going to nursery, all the staff are amazing and look after all the kids needs with a smile, being a healthy eating nursery is fantastic and helps introduce different foods
to the kids, wouldn't find a nursery as good as this one anywhere else

Since my daughter has joined Happitots she has come on leaps and bounds. The fantastic staff have all made sure she felt comfortable and brought her out her shell; developing her confidence, teaching her lots of exciting things and taking her to many exciting places are all daily occurrences.

Our three kids have gone/go to Happitots Garrowhill and we’ve been delighted with the nursery over the last 3 years. The staff are first class and the kids love going to nursery. We get regular updates in person and via the learning journal portal. Plus the kids eat healthily and partake in lots of
activities and have lots of friends. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Highly recommend this nursery, they are brilliant. All the staff are very friendly always speak away to you. I have never left my child so for them to be so helpful and great with the kids made this easier for me, they keep you up to date with everything your child has done and ate etc. My daughter

I now have two children who are in the nursery and would highly recommend it to other parents. My oldest has been in Happitots since six months old and loves it. She has struck up great relationships with both staff and other children, two staff in particular, who she dotes on. My youngest is in the
baby room and took no more than a week to settle, the girls made me at ease as its not always easy letting go of your baby after spending the start of their life with them. Have seen a massive difference in the place since the new manager took over, everyone seems happier and has a great structured routine in place.

My 10-month-old boy didn't get a place at the council nursery my daughter went to which I'd had multiple issues with but they knew us as a family so I was really worried about going private but I needn't be worried.
My son is flourishing more than I could ever have hoped, comes home having learnt
new things (waving, saying hi, able to feed himself) and he loves all the girls as do I.
I can't believe I put up with council issues for so long and feel at ease knowing that he's looked after and nothing is too much trouble for the girls. One very happy boy and a relaxed and very happy Mummy!

I have two children at this nursery, in different rooms, and they both love it. The staff are caring, considerate, make the effort to know the children they are working with and keep up to date with current practice. The children are given plenty of opportunities and support to try new experiences and
form positive relationships with children and staff. The extra activities are great, in that they allow the children to engage in specialist subjects with adults who are not usually in the nursery. My two children enjoy the meals and snacks and there is a good variety throughout the week. The nursery manager is amazing. She makes time for her staff and children in the nursery and knows what the children need to develop socially, emotionally and educationally.
I am so glad my children are in a nursery with people I can trust to help and support their development.

I love this nursery both my children have been to this nursery. My oldest who had autism went here and I cannot fault them, they brought him out of his shell. They treated him with respect and helped him form relationships, he formed great friendships here and they made sure he was included in everything.


My daughter started at 15 months, they helped with her first steps, helped with her language skills. She had built amazing friendships with her peers and the ladies are amazing, they honestly love her and help with every aspect of her development. She had gone through stages where she needs additional help to settle and nothing is too much for the girls and the manager. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery.
