Our son has attended Mayfield Private Nursery for 6 months. We found the registration process simple yet comprehensive and he settled in very quickly. Communication between staff and parents is excellent, the online journals are informative and the new communication function is a welcome addition. All
staff are warm, friendly and genuinely care about the children. We feel our son is well looked after and is being supported with all aspects of his development.

Our daughter loves going to nursery. She has gained great relationships with the staff and pupils. She loves all the activities that they do including litter picking and yoga (not together).
All the staff are very friendly and kind.

Great nursery, the children always have good activities throughout the day which contributes to their learning. The staff are always friendly and happy. The children are always fed well and happy when we drop them off and collect.

Good nursery, still one of the more affordable ones too. My child has recently moved up to a new room and has settled in no problem. They absolutely love being at nursery and get so much stimulation with imaginative play, crafts, music, outdoor activities etc. They're always so happy to go each day
(2 days a week).
I get updates in a daily diary on what they ate, a couple of activities they did and info on naps and nappy changes. I also get pics sent on the app sometimes too which is always nice to see.

The staff are very friendly and creative in making sure the children are happy and content. There is good communication with parents at pick-up about their day. There are also good choices of meals for the children - plenty of variety and large portions. The staff really do take great joy in understanding
each of the children's different personalities and needs and having a good relationship with them.

My daughter is always welcome and they are lovey people. Staff are always welcoming telling you about her day and stuff she really enjoys. I'm happy because she comes home every day with a wee smile on her face.

Overall happy with nursery. My child looks forward to going to her nursery. She likes her interactions with other kids and nursery staff. She now goes for 1 full day and she settled very well. We would like to have more 1-2-1 in-person reviews of her progress in the nursery.

Lovely nursery with warm and friendly staff. Our little one enjoys her time there and her confidence has come on leaps and bounds since attending the nursery. The staff are always open to suggestions and I would totally recommend the nursery.

All three of my children have attended Mayfield. It is a wonderful nursery and the fact that most of the staff have remained the same for the last five years is testament to the lovely atmosphere. They are always flexible and reasonable if I need an extra day and I really appreciate this. Would highly

My daughter went to this nursery for four years and the manager and all the staff were amazing. My daughter's confidence had grown by the time she was ready to go to primary one. The nursery were good at keeping parents in the loop and feeding back on my daughter's day. My daughter still talks about
‘her nursery‘ and all her wee friends. This nursery invests a lot in the children’s learning opportunities and adapting these to each child which is so important for their development and building a strong foundation for their future learning.

The overall experience of the nursery for both me and my baby is amazing. The staff have a fantastic relationship with my wee one and always put my mind at ease when leaving him and he loves it. The nursery is excellent. Our daughter is really thriving in the supportive environment and loves being here. We find the staff great and they are really helpful. The garden is a big plus point with lots of outdoor activities for the children.

My daughter attended a walk to the memorial garden with the nursery. This was a great experience for her and very educational, as she was telling us why we wear poppies. The staff work very hard with the children and I'm very happy with this service.

Mayfield is a great private nursery in Glasgow Southside. My daughter has been attending since the age of 10 months and really enjoys it. The numbers are just right to ensure plenty of attention for each child and I'm happy that my daughter is nurtured and learning every day.

Our daughter has always enjoyed the nursery. Attending since she was eight-months-old, she has developed a strong bond with the staff there. Staff are very welcoming, helpful and flexible in their approach, which as a parent, is hugely appreciated. The nursery environment makes the most of the available
space including the outdoor area. A definite positive, meaning the children can play and learn outside and inside all year round.
