The care my daughter received in Jolly Pirates was absolutely fantastic. The opportunities through the varied learning and play encouraged her vocabulary and confidence however this was only possible due to the staff in Jolly Pirates who helped her each day she was there and supported her. Very pleasant
staff members, professional and exceptional care for their little ones. She will miss Jolly Pirates so very much. Credit to all the staff in Jolly Pirates and a massive thank you to the Jolly Pirates leader - couldn’t ask for a better leader. Highly recommend.

Jolly Pirates has been great for my daughter. We started her in Jolly Rodgers day care and we wanted somewhere handy for preschool. It's brilliant how they work together and it means my daughter didn't have the disruption of moving from preschool to childcare each day. The staff at Jolly Pirates have
been amazing! So friendly and helpful all while coping during the pandemic and very uncertain times. I felt they worked hard to make sure the children felt safe and welcome. I loved getting pictures of my daughter learning through play each day, she has been really happy there. We will miss the staff!

Couldn't have asked for a better pre-school for my daughter to attend. Staff are very good in regards to my daughter's development over the past year physically and emotionally. They created trust and an amazing bond with my daughter, could not thank them enough. Amazing people.

Jolly Rodgers Daycare and Jolly Pirates Preschool are both excellent. My youngest has just completed her year in Jolly Pirates. During this time her personality has really blossomed and she has grown in confidence. Staff are outstanding, they are always going above and beyond.

Jolly Rodgers has been an answer to our prayers. Jolly Rodgers staff have been looking after my children since we returned to live in N. Ireland in 2014. All three of my children have been through their doors, including their nursery unit. I have always thought extremely highly of them, but this year
- they went above and beyond. They were outstanding. At a time when it was nearly impossible to retain childcare, and during a pandemic - they kept their doors open - joyfully, kindly and generously caring for key workers' kids. In my opinion, they should be put on the Honours list.

My daughter (16 months) and son (3.5) started in September 2020. After 12 months of maternity leave followed by lockdown they were both used to being around me 24/7. They both settled in so quickly and the staff went above and beyond for them. After a week they were both looking forward to going to
school. What I love most is all the staff are so friendly and know the children’s names, even if they don’t mind them, they always have a huge hello for them. My son even gets excited when he sees the manager! Having peace of mind dropping them off means the world to us. Both children have come on so much and my son's speech has improved a lot. I couldn’t fault Jolly Rodgers in any way. They use the seesaw app a lot which is great to see what they are doing throughout the day and be a fly on the wall at times through photos and videos! Would 100% recommend Jolly Rodgers to anyone.

I couldn't be happier with Jolly Rodgers Day Nursery and would highly recommend this nursery to all families. The staff are so friendly and do an amazing job with the children. My son has come on hugely from being at nursery and the effort the staff put in with him, from his eating, speech and learning.
The staff communicate so well through Seesaw, Nursery Pal, their website, social media and email. I feel extremely safe having my child attend Jolly Rodgers and couldn't think of a better nursery for him to attend. He thoroughly enjoys all of the activities and outdoor space along with the friends he has made in the children and staff. Thank you to all the staff at Jolly Rodgers for doing such a fantastic job!

Jolly Rodgers is a wonderful day nursery, my daughter has been content and happy since she started and looks forward to attending each day. The nursery is professionally run and the room staff are warm, friendly, engaging and fun and I am so happy with my daughter attending. Parents are kept fully informed
via seesaw and my nursery pal of daily activities and eating etc which is extremely reassuring for us. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jolly Rodgers.

Our first child started nursery at the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic which was a very worrying time as parents. However, the nursery establishment and staff have excelled in providing a caring, safe and supportive environment for our son which has provided us as parents with reassurance and confidence.
Their attention to government guidance during the pandemic has been at the forefront in ensuring the care of the children and always inform us parents of any changes in policy and guidance.
Our son thoroughly enjoys going to nursery in Jolly Rodgers and there is never a day we aren't met with a welcoming smile at the door. The staff are very friendly and have established a brilliant rapport with our son who has increased his social and play skills considerably since starting. The nursery keeps us up to date with two great apps so we know how our son is getting on during the day.
We can't praise them enough and would recommend Jolly Rodgers Day Nursery to anyone who needs childcare.

Jolly Rodgers has looked after my daughter from since she has been 9 months old, the girls in the baby room were very comforting when leaving my daughter the first few days, any questions or queries were answered straight away. My daughter is now in a bigger room and absolutely loves the activities
she gets to do from painting to sensory play, soft play and the amazing outside area they have available for the children to explore outside. In a time when there is a pandemic ongoing, I feel so grateful that my daughter is getting safe care and still having fun with safe practice in place. Communication from the nursery is very good, the procedures they are following and guidelines are all well presented to parents on the apps. After a family member sent their child here and he loved it, I viewed a few others but settled on Jolly Rodgers and I am so glad I did.

Fantastic nursery. My children have attended from babies and are now at primary school age. After school facilities are fantastic! Each day is packed with fun filled activities including role-plays, games, Christmas activities. Throughout the Covid situation, the nursery and staff have all gone above
and beyond in supporting children and parents. They put safety provisions in place such as after school bubbles, separate play area tents and separate changing facilities, so children were made to feel at ease and still maintain their important routine. I truly would be lost without the support of this nursery.

I cannot recommend this daycare enough. The staff are fantastic and so approachable. My daughter enjoys going to Jolly Rodgers as did my son who went a few years ago. I have never had any cause for concern nor had anything negative to say about the service provided.

My eldest son has been attending the day nursery for almost two years and my youngest son has recently started. Both of them love it and clearly look forward to going - we couldn't ask for more than that!.


The staff do a wonderful job and are clearly devoted to looking after all of the children and

the manager is so friendly and approachable and always flexible to our changing childcare requirements.


The facilities both indoor and out are excellent with updates and theme changes happening regularly to keep the babies and toddlers interested. A lot of effort clearly goes into the monthly themes.


My eldest has recently been potty trained and all of the toddler staff were very supportive with that especially during the difficult early weeks.


The nursery regularly has outings and charity events so there is always plenty going on to get involved in and we are kept well informed with the website and monthly newsletters.

Jolly Rodgers care for my 3 children; 1 with a severe learning disability and 1 who had a liver transplant a year ago (7 months old). The staff are fantastic and I cant praise them enough. They are prepared to take on any challenge and always show my kids the love and attention they need and encourage
their development in such a positive manner. They don't over react when my wee girl falls ill and manage her condition extremely well. There was no fuss around her liver transplant (which was stressful enough for me) and they worked with the community nurses and I to ensure my little girls needs were/are met.
My eldest son (11) has been at Jolly Rodgers since he was 3. Nowhere else would take him as he had behavioural difficulties - he was expelled by a 'health trust' nursery just before his 2nd birthday. Jolly Rodgers gave him a chance and he has loved it there. He has to leave when he turns 12 and we are very sad that this has to happen as he enjoys spending his school holidays and after school time here.
My middle son (4) has been there since he was 6 months old and loves going to Jolly Rodgers and now attends their preschool programme. He has built positive relationships with his peers and the staff and this is down to the hard work of the staff at Jolly Rodgers.
Staff are extremely sensible, professional and caring. I can go to work without the fear that my children are hating their nursery or are being treated unfairly. Staff do teach right/wrong and discipline the children accordingly but fairly. My children have lots of fun while they are learning and often surprise me with what they have achieved- again this is down to the staff. Jolly Rodgers is like an extension of our family now.
Jolly Rodgers offer a range of activities within and outside the building- swimming, jo jingles, trips to the cinema, parks, farms etc. They have a large outside area for the children of all ages to enjoy. If I had any concerns (which I never have) I know the staff would listen to me and try and rectify it. The manager, is a fantastic person and tries to help in anyway she can.
My children experience foods that I would not necessarily buy for home and they enjoy the freshly cooked varied meals. Jolly Rodgers do deserve a medal as the staff go way above of what anyone would expect from a day care provider. Well done girls and thank you so much for taking such great care of my kiddies :)
