I would like to thank the management for taking my son at last minute. They were so accommodating, and they really helped me through the process. My son has loved his time there, and the staff are amazing. All nice, cheerful and loving to the children. If he did not have to go to reception I'm sure
he would have loved another year with the Quakers team. Thank you all again for being so warm-hearted.

We have had an absolutely wonderful experience at Quaker Nursery/Pre-School, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent seeking a nurturing and enriching environment for their child.
The staff at Quaker are incredibly warm and attentive. We are always greeted with smiles, and there is a genuine
interest in our child's well-being. The teachers are patient, kind and truly dedicated to the development of each child.

Our second child, our son, has just finished a year at the Quaker Pre-School, and we can't recommend it enough. He previously was at a different nursery, and since starting here, has said how much more he enjoys this nursery and his confidence and communication have soared as well as having a fantastic
time. The staff are just so loving, caring and fun. They also have a great sense of humour and genuinely enjoy their job and care for the children. So recommend it. Fantastic sessions of forest school, Spanish, dance, sport and music as well! And amazing value for money.

My daughter attended this nursery from September to July, and the staff are amazing, all so welcoming, kind, caring and approachable. My daughter loved it and has really come on since being at the nursery, and this has helped prepare her ready for school. Thank you so much. See you next year when my
youngest will be joining.

Honestly couldn't have asked for a better team of staff to look after my child. As a first-time nursery mom finding the right setting was quite daunting but as soon as I met the staff I knew my little one was in safe hands. Thank you so much to each and every one of you who made it so easy to go to
work each day knowing my child was in the safest of hands, I couldn't thank you enough! It's clear to see how much you care for the children and I feel so lucky to have found you!

My son has been really happy here and made some lovely friends. The staff are all friendly and warm so that even when he is unsettled going in I know he will get the support he needs (which is normally a cuddle from one of the ladies in the room).
The facilities at the nursery are fab, with a lovely
private garden that the children get plenty of opportunities to enjoy.
Lots of externally led activities are organised, like forest school, Spanish, singing and dancing. So that each day he has something different to look forward to. This has also really helped him understand the different days of the week.
I feel he is so ready to start school in September, being able to recognise and write his name and numbers 1-10, I have to give the credit for this to the staff at nursery as they have encouraged this a lot.
I'd recommend Quakers Nursery to anyone considering it.

My little boy has thoroughly enjoyed his time at his 'beloved Quaker' as we call it.
It is a lovely, friendly environment that encourages learning and friendship.
They take part in a variety of activities including forest school and dancing.
My son has also benefitted from speech and language sessions.
The
staff are all brilliant and we are truly sad that our time here has come to an end.
We would definitely recommend Quaker from both a parent and child perspective.

My youngest of three children attended Northfield Quaker pre-school and it has been the best nursery that I have encountered.

Main selling points for this nursery that set it apart from others:

1. Low staff turnover (staff are happy in their jobs)
2. Experienced staff with bags of patience
3.

Good administration/ well managed

My son has loved coming to pre-school from the outset. He has been encouraged to partake in a wide range of activities with constant positive reinforcement. He has developed good relationships with the staff and is a confident young man ready for school now.

I would definitely recommend this preschool.

My youngest son is attending this nursery since 2.5 years old. There are lots of strong recommendations from my older children's families who attended this nursery which helped us to make a decision a lot easier.

The friendly and responsible carers at the nursery have helped my son to be grown up

as bilingual as they helped a lot for my son to come along with English naturally. The nursery's Monday singing session and Friday dancing session also helped my son to develop his interests in singing and dancing so now he dances and sings all the time at home.

When we needed so much help due to our own difficulties in the family, the nursery helped us by scheduling more sessions so that we felt very supported by the nursery (although it was very last-minute requests). Thank you again!

We feel also very safe and pleasant about the family we've met in the nursery.

Overall, our expectation of the nursery has been met way beyond our expectation.

Thank you, Team!

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.688)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.688) out of 10 for Northfield Quaker Pre-School is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 7 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.7 out of 5 from 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.988 for Northfield Quaker Pre-School is calculated as follows: ( (83 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 84 Ratings = 4.988

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.7 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Northfield Quaker Pre-School is based on 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.7

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 30 number of registered child places is 6, which has been reached with 7 Positive reviews. Points = 1

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
