My son started at Mama Bears Coronation Road in May 21, and being a lockdown baby, he was not used to other people or places. He had multiple taster sessions as he struggled to adjust, as did I. The staff were so kind and patient, even coming to check on me once when I cried dropping him off. The manager
came to the car park to put my mind at ease and reassure me. My son now loves Mama Bears, and he seems to have a new favourite person! Pictures and videos are posted daily, which is amazing; it’s clear he’s having a great time. I’m so pleased to have found Coronation Road Mama Bears; it truly is a warm, friendly and fun place for him to make friends and socialise!

My wife and I have entrusted Mama Bear's, Coronation Road with caring for both of our children, our eldest is now in school and our youngest is now in pre-school. Both of our children quickly built special relationships with the staff at Mama Bear's and they both have their respective favourites. The
team are genuinely caring and it gives us a fantastic sense of well-being, knowing that our kiddies are in such a great place and having a wonderful time with their friends. The staff are excellent, they give us lots of feedback at the end of the day and the online parent platform allows us to see photos of their day to day activities. Events such as Easter/Mother's Day/Christmas are always special at Mama Bear's and the kids work hard to produce cards or artwork to mark the day, and gives the children a sense of pride as they gift it to parents at home time. Having been with Mama Bear's for almost 5 years, we would strongly recommend them!

The nursery staff here have cared for my child since before she was 1 year old and is now gone 3 and attending their preschool. Their care throughout her time here has been above and beyond my expectations of a nursery, and even through the pandemic their standards did not drop, they have supported
us through many developmental milestones and I will be forever grateful to the love and care they have given to my child.

My son attends pre school at Coronation Road and absolutely loves it, he looks forward to his preschool days. The staff are very warm and welcoming and always answer the door happy and to see the children. We receive updates through the day of what our son has had to eat along with any observations
made, his development and the activities he has been doing. We love the option on the app to add our own content to share any developments and wow moments we have had at home. My son has only ever spoken highly of all the carers and his friends at Coronation Road. He is very happy there. We can’t thank the manager and all the team enough for all the wonderful care and love they have given him. We are going to be very sad to leave when we move up to school.

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 11 months old, he's a 2-year-old toddler now. I believe the staff are the most important in the early setting and the carers in this nursery are caring, friendly and always go the extra mile. My son settled in very quickly straight from the beginning
and he is so excited in the morning to go to the nursery. The staff always welcome him with a smile and open arms and my little son feels loved and cared for. I like the variety of activities which are organised for children, they celebrate children's birthdays and we always get a card from them on my son's birthday and at Christmas. The development of children is evaluated regularly and the ParentZone app helps parents to stay on track with what is happening with their children on a daily basis. Food is freshly cooked on the premises every day. I would highly recommend Mama Bear's Nursery, Coronation Road - Downend.

A brilliant nursery and pre-school. My son is genuinely excited to go to pre-school and has made strong friendships with both his peers and key workers.
All of the staff are friendly and helpful and consistently go the extra mile for the children and parents.
During the COVID pandemic, I have not
felt anxious about the nursery setting, the measures in place are followed by all.
Strongly recommend as a safe, kind and nurturing environment.

Both my children have attended this setting and my youngest is currently in pre-school, due to start school in September. I cannot recommend this nursery enough, first and foremost because all staff have had a genuine regard for my children. They had both attended from a very young age, my son being
just five months when he started there. They have had to spend long hours at nursery due to my job, but they were both so happy and secure there, which was reassuring to know they were in a safe place, being loved and nurtured.
The manager and team here provide an excellent service and we will be very sad to say goodbye to them all.

My daughter has been at Mama Bears for over three years and is very happy there. She speaks about her carers fondly, as well as the activities they do together. She often comes home with her artwork and excited to tell us what she has been up to there. The team listen and care.

My son has been with the nursery for the past year and I have seen him blossom to this independent young man who is confident exploring his surroundings. The staff are very loving towards him and understand his needs. I couldn’t have hoped for a better nursery. Well done guys and thank you for your

My son has been attending Mama Bears Coronation since July 2019. The staff are amazingly friendly, caring, and they make you feel part of a big family. My son has developed so much since attending. The log app is great as I can see my son is happy doing lots of different activities.
The staff always
give me such positive feedback ar the end of the day, and always go above and beyond.
The food is also very good, and my son always enjoys every last mouth full as I can see from the photos sent through the app. Every morning when I drop him off, the staff are always happy, smiling and very welcoming.
The manager is always there to answers any questions and has a very much open-door policy.
I found it very difficult at the beginning, but the management and staff not only care about the children, they very much cared about us a family and made me feel secure to leave my son with them.
I highly recommend the nursery to anyone who is looking.

We are very happy with all the services that the nursery provides.
I feel that my daughter is very well cared for, and all staff work collaboratively - putting a lot of effort into their work.
My daughter is happy and has a very good relationship with her key person, and other members of staff.
The communication with the staff is great, and I feel very secure leaving my child for the day - whilst I go to work.

Our twins have been well cared for over the last 3 years at this nursery. The staff are friendly and relatively well trained and show genuine signs of care for the children there. Regular feedback for the twins is given, and the online communication app (eyelog?) is excellent for keeping an eye on things.
The children also seem to be fed well with a range of good and mostly healthy food options.

I found it very difficult to leave my children in daycare for the first time. I was worried about them and wanted to see what they were up to and look out for them, which obviously you can't do as they grow! When we first started with Mama Bear's, we were welcomed with open arms and a huge amount of
patience and understanding when we needed it during this difficult transition. My children have been for over 3 years mostly full time and they couldn't be happier. We love it there. I say we because it's not just the children that benefit. My husband and I are happy to leave our children in a fun, clean, imaginative and healthy place with staff that are trustworthy and genuinely excited to see our children flourish every day. The first few years shape their whole lives and we are thankful that Mama Bear's have helped us instil excitement to learn, meet friends, eat healthily, treat others kindly and have fun. I would always recommend Mama Bear's and have been doing so since we started.

My husband and I send our 2 children to Mama Bear's at Coronation Road.
The staff are professional, welcoming & friendly. My son took 6 mths to settle in & they supported my demanding needs & his very well. Most of the children there appear to be very happy & mine, in particular, come home each day
having had a great day doing all sorts of different activities. They love all members of the staff & often talk about their friends in a positive manner. Importantly, the staff will say good morning, ask about their weekends which is very important to us as parents that they show interest in our children's home lives. They understand as siblings they are very close often needing to be together which they deal with well, sometimes helping to settle my daughter by bringing her older brother into the room. We've not had many issues but when we have it was dealt with. Our children are doing very well & I have no hesitations in recommending the nursery - thanks again to the manager and the team.

The team work so well at giving our twins the best care and attention during their time there. The kids are always comfortable and happy going to Mama Bears, and seem to enjoy their experence each time. They are clearly learning while playing, which is imperative even at their young age. Effort is always
made to convey the daily play and learning activities, as well as what they ate and how toileting went throughout each day. In addition, and most importantly, the twins are in a safe and caring environment. All staff appear to enjoy what they do there, which is commendable when considering the amount of thought and patience that goes into providing an effective care package for a group of kids for potentially up to 10 hours or more a day. Well done guys - big thanks from us!

I cannot praise the staff enough here, they are all amazing. My grandson loves it here, he has been going now for just over 2 years and loves it. My daughter looked at other nurseries before deciding which one to go for, Mama Bears Coronation Road certainly ticked all the boxes for her. I love picking
my grandson up as he is so happy there and my daughter has peace of mind knowing he is well looked after when she is at work.

Amy has worked in the Early Years Sector for more than 25 years. Working at Coronation Road for 11 years, she started as a Deputy Manager progressed to the Nursery Manager role, and has been working in this role for the last 8 years.


Amy likes to make everyone feel respected and valued and she keeps her team and families well informed and trained to the best standard.
