Greengables Day Nursery, in Sandhurst, has been purpose-built to offer a spacious and comfortable learning environment for children. They have also obtained their Silver Eco-Schools Award.

All children get daily access to the well-resourced garden as the nursery recognises the positive impact that outdoor play has on a child's social, emotional and physical development.

Greengables Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of Usports every Wednesday for the Preschool room.

The nursery is open from 7.30 to 6.30 and offers a fully inclusive package, helping to support busy parents through an exceptional service.

Greengables has been a very positive experience for our daughter. She is very engaged, entertained and cared for. She has made lots of special connections with her teachers and other children. We are very pleased with the standard of care our daughter receives.

I have been really pleased with how my daughter has grown and developed within this nursery. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. They have always shown a keen interest in the development of my daughter. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

I absolutely love Greengables. My little boy is so happy here and has absolutely thrived. The staff are so helpful, and my little boy feels so comfortable with them. We will 100% be sending our little girl here as soon as we can.

The staff are always very open, honest and helpful. Our girls came back having enjoyed and happy with what they have done. A very safe setting, and they look forward to going. They have made some good friends, and their development is really increasing.

Greengables has always been fantastic with our son, and we have always felt safe and confident leaving him the girls care. He always comes home smiling, talking about his teachers, which makes us feel at peace knowing he's had a good day. We get good updates through the app on what he's been up to.
Definitely would recommend this nursery.

I wouldn't have gone back to work without the help and support from Greengables Day Nursery (Owlsmoor). The staff are kind, professional and address each and every query with care. It is always assuring to see my child happy at the end of every day. She settled very well and I can't thank the staffs

My 2-year-old son has been attending Greengables for 4 months now and is thoroughly enjoying his time there. It's taking a while for him to settle at drop off, we still have tears but the staff are very patient and understanding and he calms very quickly once in the room. In the months he has been attending,
I've seen him learn new words and start to learn actions to songs, and develop his ways of communication. The covid protocols at the nursery are excellent and the communication to and from the nursery is very good. I would highly recommend Greengables to anyone.

This is an amazing nursery and my daughter loves it. The staff are amazing and have been so helpful over the last few months. I love that they make healthy food on-site for all the kids and are always changing the toys and learning so there's always something new for my daughter to play with and learn.
The app is great, it's the highlight to my day when I get photos and updates whilst at work which show what she is getting up to with her friends!

I have been impressed by this nursery. My son seems to enjoy it and we get regular updates via an app which is reassuring. They also include short videos of him when he achieves a development goal. This is lovely to view during my working day.
I would recommend them.

Greengables is a great nursery. Our daughter has been going since she was 13 months old and is now nearly 3. The way they have handled the Covid pandemic has been brilliant with excellent communication throughout. Thank you to all the staff and especially those in Bumblebees! Couldn’t recommend the
nursery highly enough.

Amazing place and fantastic people. My daughter started in the baby room, now she's in pre-school. All rooms are great and support the child's development - from speech and building up confidence to potty training. Would highly recommend. Our little boy will be starting soon too.

My daughter has been attending Greengables Day Nursery since she was 9 months old, following the challenging decision on what nursery to use! I chose Greengables as the building was purpose-built and the staff I met were friendly and they provide everything you need (food/nappies etc). Fast forward
2 years and she is still there and enjoying nursery each week!
Additionally, the way they managed lockdown and the support they provided to myself and my daughter was fantastic!
I continue to recommend this nursery to my friends.

My daughter currently attends Greengables in the pre-school room and has been going to the nursery from 9-months-old. They are a fantastic nursery with staff who really invest in the children and seemingly enjoy their jobs. From her keyworker to the admin team to the chef, my daughter seems to have
a connection with any team member she comes across.
Throughout the changes that have been enforced due to covid, what could have been a scary time for the children, has been dealt with brilliantly at every turn, and I never have any doubts about her wellbeing when I drop her off and look forward to her telling me about all the exciting things she has achieved when I pick her up! Well done to the manager and team and a special mention to one of the girls in pre-school!

My son started at Greengables almost one month ago now, after viewing several nurseries this one felt right immediately! The staff are so helpful and welcoming, and my very clingy 2-year-old son has settled much quicker than I ever thought he would. I’ve recommended this nursery to a few mummy friends
and will continue to do so. It’s lovely to go to work and not worry if he’s ok! He comes out so happy every single day, the updates online with pictures are amazing too and lovely to see he’s having a great time.
His keyworker has been outstanding and helped immensely with his settling in period.
I’m so glad I chose Greengables Day Nursery.

Julia Grant

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Joined: 2015

Julia is the Manager of Greengables Day Nursery in Owlsmoor and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for over 20 years. Julia joined Childbase in 2015 as a Deputy Manager at Greengables and later transferred to West Downs to take on the role of Nursery Manager, at another Childbase Nursery. Julia has now returned to Greengables as Manager.


What is your favourite feature of Greengables?
I love that Greengables is all on one level with every room having its own access to its own decks and garden.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I love the team culture at Greengables, everyone looks out for each other.
