Greengables Day Nursery, in Sandhurst, has been purpose-built to offer a spacious and comfortable learning environment for children. They have also obtained their Silver Eco-Schools Award.

All children get daily access to the well-resourced garden as the nursery recognises the positive impact that outdoor play has on a child's social, emotional and physical development.

Greengables Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of Usports every Wednesday for the Preschool room.

The nursery is open from 7.30 to 6.30 and offers a fully inclusive package, helping to support busy parents through an exceptional service.

My son has recently started at Greengables and I cannot fault how good the nursery has been, with settling in visits for him before hand so he became familiar with the staff and nursery.
The staff all seem loving and caring and the management do a very good job of running the nursery. There is always
a wide variety of activities on offer to stimulate the children and they all seem to be set for different abilities so all children can progress in their individual development. The outdoor space is great and the children have activities out there so can learn whilst getting some fresh air. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the nursery.

My three children attend Greengables Day Nursery. My twin boys in the caterpillar room and my daughter in preschool and they absolutely love it. All the staff are excellent and my children love them and I leave for work knowing they are in safe hands and are having fun as well as learning. The daily
reports are always informative as are the weekly emails. A great team at Greengables Day Nursery and we are very happy with their service.

My 3 children absolutely love Greengables Day Nursery & the staff there are absolutely fantastic. Nothing is too much to ask, the room staff are excellent with the children & make sure that the children's needs are met, they have formed strong bonds with them individually, I know my children are being
cared for properly. The admin lady is also so helpful, always responds promptly and nothing is too much to ask. The reception & management team are all so friendly, professional & always make time to have a chat. The food is excellent, well balanced and varied. We are given a monthly menu & emailed each week so you can keep track of what you child eats so that you can plan their dinners with ease. I switched my daughter to Greengables Day Nursery as she was unhappy with her previous one & I can honestly say she has settled very quickly as have my 18 Month twins. The security is very good (a high priority for us) & parking is good too. The nursery itself is always clean & the toys and equipment are plentiful.

This month our youngest daughter has been settling into the nursery which we were really apprehensive about, but the staff in the Caterpillar room have been amazing. They have made the transition so easy and hassle-free.
We are so delighted with Greengables and only wish we had moved our daughter there
sooner.
We cannot praise the professionalism, friendliness, and attitudes of the staff more and would highly recommend them.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery. All the staff know her personally and her learning objectives. Since she has been in nursery her development, both physical and speech have improved hugely.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone and already have two friends join since we started here.

I have been so impressed with my son's experience at Greengables. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and quickly build rapport with him. They went to great lengths to make the settling in process easy and stress-free and always make me feel able to 'check in' with how things are going during the
day. The nursery offers a fantastic range of activities and clearly, tailor those to suit the children's interests and needs.
I am always impressed by the lovely things my son gets up to and the in-depth feedback I receive at the end of the day.

The team at Greengables is fantastic, they go above and beyond for the children and are always happy to help. They are great role models for the children. The atmosphere is positive and it provides a caring, welcoming and safe environment. I would definitely recommend Greengables to anyone, particularly
if you value learning through play experiences and young children being treated respectfully as little people where their individual uniqueness is valued and encouraged. A great early years experience, helping to provide a solid foundation for very young children which is all so important for their future health and wellbeing.

Greengables has become a part of our family. All of the staff are friendly, professional and helpful. My sons key worker is wonderful and understands his little nuances and how he likes to learn and play. It's clear they have a solid relationship and that he trusts and respects the staff. He has learned
so much, including very good table manners and a better ability to share with others. He has also made some wonderful friends whom we have enjoyed spending time with outside of nursery too. The facilities are excellent, the food is excellent, and the range of activities and toys are brilliant. Toys are regularly updated to maintain the children's interest and reflect what they are expressing a desire to play with. On the rare occasions where I was unwell and needed an extra session at very short notice the team were always incredibly supportive. We feel very grateful to have such a wonderful nursery available to us and we are thrilled that our son is so happy there.

Our daughter joined the Greengables nursery in April'16, at the age of 18 months. She was made very welcome by the whole team and was particularly well looked after by her key worker. It did not take long for her to become very well settled and each day she was happier to go back. Great communication
with the members of the staff, ensuring the home and nursery routines are aligned. The Management team and the chefs have taken seriously my daughter's dietary requirements and are more than happy to strictly follow our instructions.
Each day at the nursery, she has different activities that stimulate her development. Our daughter is bilingual and her key worker stresses on an age appropriate language education. She started talking a lot recently and sings new songs every day. Our daughter loves to be messy - at home we do not do body painting or mud pies for example. The messier she is, the happier.
At the end of each day, I see a very happy little girl. That says it all!

We have been using this nursery since Jan 2013. It has evolved, grown character and become a very busy (in a good way) environment for the attending children. The staff are great, the management take constructive feedback on board and action as appropriately. We are very happy with the progress year
on year and value the support and path taking our daughter into school later this year. Good work by all the team. Thank you.

Our daughter has attended the Pre School room at Greengables since September 2015 and has loved every minute. She has made some lovely friends and her confidence has come on in leaps and bounds. She has loved the variety of activities and the facilities available to her. The staff are always welcoming
and friendly, always making the transition and hand over from parent happy and positive. The children are all well behaved with lovely values. There is great communication from Greengables - you are always kept updated and informed. The food is outstanding, all freshly cooked and healthy. Our daughter has been happy, safe and well cared for in her time at Greengables and is now ready for her next adventure at school.

Choosing a nursery is really hard to do, and coming to the end of a day of 4 different viewings where we weren't sure at all, it was such a sigh of relief to see Greengables. It's very clean, purpose built, but what really made it stand out was the staff. They were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable
about child development and that first impression hasn't faltered 18 months on. There has been a few minor incidents where I was perhaps a little unsatisfied but what won me back was the responsiveness to the feedback and evident changes made. Five stars, Love Greengables!

My daughter, when I pick her up, carried on playing which is a big sign she is so very happy. She eats well and gets on well with all the staff and children. She rarely wants to go home with me and wants to stay! :) She likes strong (crazy) personalities and will lean towards the staff members who are
playful and funny. The staff are very good and get to know their children and are very passionate about what they do. This is music to parents ears who leave their children at nursery.

I am a member of staff at the nursery and my child started, as I did, in August. He is in the Ladybirds room and the staff were so caring to his individual needs which made him settle very easily. There is an excellent menu which offers a balanced and healthy diet which I love, as does my son! The outdoor
space is wonderful, and the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is met and evident through the children's play and development. I would definitely recommend this nursery to others who are looking for their child to grow up in a stimulating and healthy environment.

I have been using Greengables for over a year for our child care and have always been impressed with the care and interest shown in the children. It has helped no end with my child's development and so I had no hesitations when choosing it for my baby too.
The opening hours are a massive bonus and
make our work hours possible !


All the staff have been nothing but professional and helpful not to mention knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend in every aspect.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Joined: 2015

Julia is the Manager of Greengables Day Nursery in Owlsmoor and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for over 20 years. Julia joined Childbase in 2015 as a Deputy Manager at Greengables and later transferred to West Downs to take on the role of Nursery Manager, at another Childbase Nursery. Julia has now returned to Greengables as Manager.


What is your favourite feature of Greengables?
I love that Greengables is all on one level with every room having its own access to its own decks and garden.

I love the team culture at Greengables, everyone looks out for each other.
