Blackberry House Day Nursery is a nursery provider for children from 0-5 years in Wisbech.

Awarded Outstanding by Ofsted 2013, staff are passionate about providing children with opportunities to expand and develop their learning with a daily structure of sessions.

This enables the children to have continuity and structure with their learning and make the most extra activities.

The nursery has introduced meal bundles which include lunch and dinner for £6 to make it easier for parents, also for older children there is before and after school club for all children aged from 4-7 years.

Forest schools give freedom, space and natural resources for children to plan and promote their own physical development through play. The woodlands at the Wisbech setting are perfect for a Forest School.


Along with key learning, extra activities including All4Sports, help children learn essential sports and fitness skills whilst ensuring they have fun and enjoy themselves.

All of the children get the opportunity to enjoy sports whatever their ability.

Trained nursery staff work with children in the cookery club, Little Chefs. This club teaches the children where food comes from and allows them to participate in growing their own produce and making sweet and savoury delights exploring foods from other cultures.

Children get involved with the gardening club and music club. The music club helps the body and mind work together. By exposing the children to music during early development it helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.

I was recommended to use this nursery and it is one of the best in the area. It is quite expensive but the care, staff, food activities and support is excellent.

Fantastic environment. Friendly, welcoming and caring staff.
My daughters thoroughly enjoyed their time at Blackberry House. Highly recommend.
