Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - Perivale is set within the grounds of Perivale Primary School and children’s centre. It offers places for children aged 2 to 4 years.

The smallest of the group, Perivale allows each child to bond with staff, settle quickly and enables staff to provide truly personal care in a cosy and homely environment. Children are allowed to explore and experiment through the curiosity approach and the awe and wonder of learning to create their magical moments of play.

Children at Perivale can take advantage of a lovely garden with lots of exciting and fun facilities such as a large sand pit, exploration shed, maths and literacy, large scale construction, mud garden, dinosaur and fairy garden and a lovely area for planting herbs and vegetables, creative area.

The nursery plans and organises activities based around the events and celebrations throughout the year. The staff complete Right Here, Right now, Long observation, and weekly picture observations and key interests for all children so that they can develop and arrange activities based around the child's individual needs.

Lovely environment for children to learn and develop. The staff are great and very helpful, always happy to answer any questions. My daughter really enjoys going to this nursery and comes home with a big smile!

My daughter has a fantastic time here, every day. The staff are fantastic, warm and welcoming. Communication is good and very easy to do. The facilities are good and the children have outdoor space that they use each day.

This nursery is absolutely fantastic! The staff are very welcoming and friendly a big thank you to a very supportive deputy manager! Who has made it a lot easier for my daughter to settle in quicker than I thought she would. Honestly I highly recommend Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - Perivale.

We've really been happy with Hungry Caterpillar Nursery in Perivale since our son joined in January 2022.
The staff, the facilities, the food and teaching has been brilliant - he's learnt so much in a short space of time. Parents are constantly informed of the children’s daily progress via the app
they provide, which also includes pictures of how they doing.
We are extremely happy we choose this nursery and we highly recommend this nursery to any new parents!

All the staff in nursery is very friendly, kind, caring and loving. My son really enjoys going to nursery and he has been learning so many new things now. I am so happy I chose this nursery. The staff is very active, they update us about his routine and post a weekly progress report.

Everything about this Nursery is so good. I was always very nervous about sending my daughter to nursery. She started at 26 months.
Settling in was so smooth for my daughter, it was slow and gradual. The staff has been very helpful and co-operative. They always communicate very clearly what and how
much the child has eaten, what activities they have done during the day. This kind of communication really helps you have a peace of mind.
My daughter is very happy at the nursery and she loves her teachers. They do lots of activities where children learn about different things.
Also, food and care is very good at this nursery.
Outdoor play area is very big and well managed with lots of activities which I never saw in any other nursery while taking nursery tours.
We are not moving away from this area only because we don't want to change the nursery.
I think that sums up how, a mother who was anxious and nervous about choosing the nursery, is so happy about finding the best nursery.

Wonderful staff. They are so good to my son and he is incredibly happy there. Everyone is helpful and kind. The outside space is fantastic and better than other local facilities. The children seem happy and the carers look after the kids well and genuinely like being with them it seems.

My son is very happy to go nursery. He settled there just in one day that was amazing. All the staff in nursery is very friendly, kind, caring and loving. Even the food at nursery is so good that my son eats well. My son misses his teachers after coming home. I am a very happy and satisfied mother.

I would never recommend this Nursery to anyone, the kind of experience I had with Nursery Management. We were offered a place for our child in a full-time nursery and explained to us the cost. A week into the nursery, came back to us asking four times extra money on top of 30-hour child care allowance
for five full days nursery. When questioned, in a ruthless way, told to go to any other nursery, admitting their own mistakes. The Director was not cooperative at all. I lost two weeks of work to find an alternative arrangement for my child as most of the nurseries were already full then. Find better options around, not trustworthy at all!

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. My daughter has got lots of support to get rid of the nappies; she has been more disciplined than ever before as she used to be very stubborn and obstinate.
She used to be very possessive specifically with her younger sibling, now she is more caring and helpful
to him than ever before. Lastly, I believe it is a very friendly and safe environment.

This nursery is amazing and my daughter loves it. She took a while to settle at first as she was very shy. The staff have really brought her confidence out, doing lots of good activities and she comes home singing songs and brings pictures home. She joins in with activities is talking more and asks
to go to nursery now. The teachers are very friendly and let me know updates about what is happening with my daughter, which gives me peace of mind, as a parent, to know how she’s doing. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

My son attended this nursery from the age of 2 to 4. This nursery is absolutely exceptional. The facilities are great, it is well organised, clean, supports early development and it has a warm atmosphere. The staff are loving, caring and nurturing individuals. You can see that they truly have a passion
for childcare and they really do care about each and every child. From the moment you walk in, they are dancing and singing, the children just seem so happy. This nursery was instrumental in helping my son through the diagnosis process of Autism. Despite my son's additional needs, they never treated him differently, they were so kind and caring towards him. They met his needs through an individual support plan, they made an effort to understand him and his likes/dislikes. They communicate through hugs and play. My son is non-verbal but how excited he was to go to nursery everyday spoke a thousand words. A lot of tears were shed on our last day, my son really did love this nursery!

The staff here are AMAZING and that is even an understatement. They keep you informed at all times. Very professional and kind!!! The Ofsted rating of outstanding is well deserved. Couldn't have asked for a better place for my little one. Thank you for keeping my mind at peace knowing my child is in

We are really glad to have found Hungry Caterpillars. They have an excellent staff and a great array of activities. I love when my son comes home teaching me the French he has learned that day. The staff go above and beyond to do special things with the children. My son is so at home at Hungry Caterpillars.
Everyday he wakes up asking if he gets to go to "school" today - so they must be doing something right!
