Amazing nursery! I could not be happier with the help and support we have received from Holyrood for our son. His development has come on leaps and bounds with the help of the staff and if I have ever had any questions or needed help and advice, they have been great in this aspect! Could not recommend
them highly enough.

This nursery has great opportunity for the children and this can be seen when you go around. My goddaughter loves going there and seeing the staff. My little goddaughter is full of smiles when picking up after a day at nursery.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 12 months old and is now two and a half. She adores nursery, it has been lovely to watch her grow, develop confidence, skills and friendships with the support of nursery staff. Every key worker she has had has been fantastic, nothing is ever
too much trouble whether it be specific dietary requirements, potty training support or medical care.


Regarding the specific ratings, I have rated management good rather than excellent, because I think there are instances where communication could be more proactive/consistent. For example, some updates are via text message or email and some are just on posters in the nursery, so it can be easy to miss things when you’re in a rush at drop off time. This is only a small thing and we do get phone calls when we need to be advised directly of something e.g a bump on the head at playtime. When my younger child is ready for nursery, I will be 100% confident in enrolling her at Holyrood too.

My daughter has attended Holyrood Princes Dock since April and the staff team have been amazing. Knowing how anxious I was about leaving my daughter, they really did put me at ease and make the whole transition enjoyable for myself and my daughter. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

My little boy has been going to Princes Dock since he was 11 months old, he is now 3 and a half.
I have nothing but praise for all of the staff here. Every key worker my little boy has had have been amazing, I cannot fault them at all.
He has progressed so much, loves to learn and enjoys playing
with all of his little friends.
The nursery has been really supportive with the transitions from room to room and also helping him with his toilet training, which has helped us immensely.
From day 1, I have felt comfortable leaving my boy in the care of the staff there and nothing was too much trouble when I used to call up to check on how he was doing (in baby rooms).
I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

I chose to put my daughter into this nursery when she was 9 months old and as a parent, I was extremely cautious as which nursery would suit me and my daughter. Holyrood staff were warm and welcoming and put me at ease straight away when it came to actually have to leave my daughter with total strangers
for the first time. now my daughter is three and has blossomed within the nursery. they have taken on her difficulties of a morning when she is screaming after mama as she wants to be with me brilliantly guaranteed within five minutes of a tantrum the staff have my daughter settled and playing with all the other kids. I cannot thank every single person enough for helping. Every single person in the nursery knows my daughter's name and will always give a good welcome every time we walk through the door. The nursery has brought my daughter on in leaps and bounds and has made her more confident. The nursery I would highly recommend to anyone.

My baby is been in the nursery since he was 9 months old, he is in his last months of his staying in the nursery, everyone has become a part of my baby’s life, everybody is always looking to not only look after the kids but also to teach them and train them for life. I had found support in my parenting
skills as I am a single parent, they are always willing to hear and help me with any concerns.
I thanks so much to the managers, key workers and staff in general.
Very happy with the nursery, I’ll recommend anytime.

Great nursery. Really approachable warm and friendly. I have always felt safe leaving my child here and haven’t had any complaints for the two and a half years he has attended. His key workers have been brilliant with him and I have established great relationships with them and I would feel comfortable

Very patient, loving and caring staff.
My baby boy loves his male nannies which helped him to adjust really quickly. His development has increased tremendously over the last 6 months. We are now on holidays and we see how important the social part of the nursery is for him!
I would recommend booties
(plastic blue shoe cover) for parents that come in to pick their kids up. With changing weather the floor gets quickly dirty so kids crawl on a dirty floor, even though the cleaners try their best.

My daughter has been going to this nursery full time since she was 10 months old (she is now three and a half) and absolutely loves it. We have been through every room/class of the nursery and she has developed great relationships with all of the staff and other children. It's a big decision to find
somewhere that you would be comfortable to leave your little one all day whilst you are at work and I have felt comfortable from day one leaving her at Holyrood Day Nursery Princes Dock, knowing that she is being well cared for. She loves playing outside, taking part in all of the activities, as well as the soft play area, and I was really pleased that there were staff working there that spoke other languages, so that she could start to learn some words too. If I had to say anything, it would be great if she had more language sessions in pre-school. The food is great, and she really wouldn't get to try most of the food that she eats there at home. Great nursery, with great people in a perfect location for me.

In all honesty, I love this nursery. I’ve worked around nurseries in the past and none come close to the standard of Holyrood Princes Dock.
The rooms are brilliantly interactive and interesting for the children at every age. Activities are well thought out and exciting and the staff are so attentive
and it’s obvious that their focus is to help the kids develop. I really can’t recommend this nursery enough and am so grateful for the service they provide.

Really friendly nursery with great staff and location. Our little girl has come on leaps and bounds and it's thanks to the staff at Holyrood. She goes twice a week but they are her two favourite days and comes home very tired from all the activities she does. Great nursery, thanks Holyrood.

Our son has been in the Discoverers Room since January and we are very happy with the standard of care he has received.
All the staff give a warm welcome every morning and have helped make the initial transition as easy as possible for us. They make an effort to get to know the babies and greet them
with big smiles and 'hellos' and check how they are.
Daily activities are planned e.g. water play, soft play, messy play, painting and tower building etc, etc. The rooms are kept clean and are warm, colourful and inviting and there are always books and other resources out ready to start the day.
The handovers are thorough, including the daily diaries that are filled in so you can keep track of what they're eating (the menus are always well balanced), sleeping habits and nappies. There is a key worker system which is a comfort for when babies are not in the happiest of moods!
Overall very happy and feel that our son gets the care and attention he needs each day in a safe environment.
