Job Title: Nursery Manager
I joined the Westchester House Day Nursery and Preschool in January 2011 as a Senior Team Leader, overseeing our rooms and staff working with children aged 2-3 years old. Now as a Nursery Manager, I have created invaluable working relationships with my staff and continue to help grow and support them in their continuous professional development. I am very passionate about the nursery and developing positive bonds with family and staff. I consider it important to ensure the children have a safe, fun and stimulating environment to learn in. I love coming to work with such a hardworking and fantastic team who supports each other within the Bright Horizons family. As a parent myself, I truly understand the needs of our families and work to support them in delivering exceptional childcare and family solutions which give their little ones the best possible start.
Job Title: Deputy Manager
Since graduating from university in 2015 with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education specialising in Physical Education, Vanessa has dedicated her career to Early Years education. She began her journey at Westchester House Nursery in 2018 and has progressed through various roles, including Room Leader, Senior, Third in Charge, and currently, Deputy Manager.
She is deeply passionate about providing high-quality childcare and nurturing every child in their setting. Her dedication to early childhood education is fueled by the joy of watching children grow and supporting them on their educational journey.
Her primary goal is to give all children the best possible start in life by creating a creative, nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment. At Westchester, the team works tirelessly to achieve this, collaborating closely with parents to understand how best to support each child’s growth and help them reach their full potential.
