Busy Bees Tunbridge Wells is proud to offer Bee Curious a brand new curriculum developed by Busy Bees. Designed by leading early years educators and using the latest insight cognitive science research from across the globe, the new curriculum has been carefully crafted to give every child the best start in life. Children will be better prepared for school through imaginative, inventive and engaging activities with a focus on increasingly important subjects. This curriculum is combined with a warm and friendly environment that will ensure you and your child feel comfortable and will help your child to become the best version of themselves.

There is a team of experienced staff who will provide individual care plans and a variety of fun activities for the children in a safe and caring environment, the staff will document your child's development throughout their time at the nursery in their own individual 'learning journey'. This is provided via an online app meaning that this can be constantly accessed by parents and will keep you well informed. On the subject of apps they are proud to offer UP! This is a Busy Bees exclusive app that their staff use to aid their planning and activities but also access is available to all parents so you will not be in a better place to continue your child's learning at home.

They have a sensory room available to all of the children and this offers an ideal space to explore in a relaxed environment. All of the rooms also enjoy getting out into the garden come rain or Shine.

This is the first time I have ever used a full-time nursery and was extremely nervous. However, the proof is in my child. He runs in each morning and seems totally comfortable with the environment and staff. The staff have always been friendly and give me good feedback each day when I collect. I enjoy
this as I can keep aware of what and how much my Son is eating and drinking and how he is progressing.

My daughters face lights up when she sees the staff in the morning (and the staff are happy to see her too!) and it makes it so much easier for me to leave her and go to work. She loves it here and lets out a little shriek of excitement as we get to the gates. She’s also really come on in her development
which is a bonus. Would highly recommend this nursery.

We have two of our four children at the nursery, with our fourth joining in a few months.
Finding Busy Bees was one of the best things to happen since moving to the area a few years ago.
The staff are wonderful. They really care and form lovely relationships with the little ones. You always get a
warm, friendly welcome whenever you come in. It feels very homely, especially for the younger ones.
The garden area is brilliant and a particular favourite of my two. The food is brilliant and I have been shocked to hear of all the different things my children will try while they are there. We had never had any experience with the Montessori method before but I can now say it's been very helpful getting my daughter ready to start big school.


The staff are incredibly supportive of your own choices and parenting methods, for example with potty training. I cannot recommend this nursery higher. I will be very sad the day my youngest leaves for primary school.

I have been incredibly pleased with the care and attention my little girl has had since she started at 7 months. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and I feel very confident leaving her in their care. There is a great range of activities offered and regular emails to keep parents updated.

When our son began nursery, he found it upsetting having us leave him, but the key workers were patient and kind, working with us until he was comfortable and felt secure. There is a fabulous range of facilities available, he has joined in on baking, making, crafting, bug hunts and more! Each of the
staff there know the children really well and you can see how happy and relaxed the children are.


Each month there are a number of different events-for charity, Christmas fair, recycling week-but each marks a chance for the children to do something fun and different whilst having the opportunity to learn and develop. There is plenty for the parents to get involved with too, from parents evenings, forums and different events. The children are encouraged and the nursery is keen to work with the parents, from aspects of development and behaviour. They have a learning journal which you are able to review and take home at any time which the key workers ensure is up to date and full of key observations.

The nursery is perfectly located for us and even though my son only goes 2 days a week he looks forward to going and has made some lovely friends. The staff are friendly and welcoming and any questions/queries are answered promptly. The nursery itself is lovely and there are lots for the children to
do. They also have a great outdoor space. My son has been really happy here.

My eldest child attended this nursery and I had no qualms about sending my youngest when I went back to work. All the staff are friendly and helpful not only to the children but to parents too. The children are provided with a wide range of activities both inside and outdoors, with lots of attention
on developing the children. There is regular feedback to parents about their children, for both their day-to-day activities and their longer-term development and well being.

My daughter started in the bay room in September and had a hard time settling in. I was amazed at how much the staff did to help her and how compassionate they were to me and to her to help her. She now totally adores it and is unhappy to leave!


She had a few dietary needs and they bend over backwards

to be accommodating and inclusive. There's an excellent level of communication with parents with daily feedback and parent conferences.


I am often stunned by the variety of activities the children take part in. I am very pleased we decided to send her there.

We chose Busy Bees based on location, cleanliness, values and general ‘feel’ compared to other local nurseries.
Our son started age 1 and settled in well. Staff were fantastic in giving advice and reassurance in what is a naturally anxious time for first-time parents. The support provided has been
consistent and staff are always approachable and helpful.
Activities and the food menu are varied and I am always given a good overview at the end of the day. Before joining we were told they are taken out in the double buggies for walks - This has happened less than we’d hoped, but appreciate it depends on staffing. It doesn’t happen often, but when I have something to address, the manager/keyworkers discuss and resolve any problem promptly.


Our son has loads of fun with friends and is very comfortable with staff. When we take a walk on a day off he tries to drag me into nursery on the way past, which is a great reflection on how much he enjoys it!

Our daughter has been at the nursery for just under a year. We have been delighted with the level of care she has received since the first day. She was very shy and nervous about going but has blossomed beautifully into a happy, confident little girl with lots of friends. The nursery is a vibrant place
and all the children seem to love their time there. There is always a plethora of fun games and activities going on. It is a real joy to send her there. Thanks to the whole team!

My son loves nursery! He gets excited every day when we arrive which is very reassuring as a parent. He is fond of the staff and the friends he has made. There is a good range of activities available to encourage language development and play. The staff to child ratio enables quality interactions.

information at the start and end of the day is excellent; it's always nice to know how they've spent their day. I like how there is a development plan in place from the start which is reviewed. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery to anyone.

Our daughter attends The Tunbridge Wells Nursery & Montessori Pre-School full-time and absolutely loves it there. The staff are fantastic and her days are so varied and energetic that she always leaves with plenty of stories to tell, but absolutely shattered!
The building is clean, safe and secure,
and the meals prepared are amazing.

Both my sons have attended this nursery from when they were babies and have absolutely loved it! The staff are great and very friendly and supportive particularly with regards to my younger son's speech issues.

I started studying Childcare in 2008 and at the beginning of my course, I planned to be a primary school teacher. This wasn't until I did my Early Years placement that I realised that this was where my passion belonged. I completed my Cache Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2010 before joining the team where my placement had been. I took my first nursery manager role in 2017 where I completed a level 5 apprenticeship in Business and Management and I joined Busy Bees in 2022. My passion for ensuring all children receive the best possible start to life is still burning bright and this extends to my 2 children.
