Mother Goose Corner Nursery & Preschool is a caring, family-run children's day nursery and pre-school based in central Huntingdon. The nursery offers full day and wrap-around care to children from birth to primary school age.

The professional, caring and dynamic staff are well qualified and enthusiastic, and collectively have many years of experience. The nursery was rated Outstanding by Ofsted in September 2015.

Mother Goose Corner Nursery & Preschool ensure their children, parents and carers feel safe and secure in the knowledge that little ones are happy, safe and learning in meaningful and interactive ways.

The preschool staff and all the childcare practitioners are lovely and attentive with the care they provide and give. They are all so cheerful and happy when collecting our daughter, even after such busy and hectic days with all the children.

Outstanding nursery in every respect. My nephew loves it there and always kicks up a fuss when he has to go home. The staff are always happy and do a great job.

I am very happy to give a review today for Mother Goose Corner Nursery and Preschool. All my children used this nursery and I will say it is the best nursery and would recommend to every parent to take their children there. The learning is great and the staff are excellent. My little girl loves to go
every day, even including the weekend. All I will say is they are excellent at everything.

My daughter started in this nursery as a baby and then moved up and left after finishing her preschool. Now my son is in preschool in the same nursery, making the same journey as my daughter.
Initially, my son was finding it difficult to settle in but with the help of the supportive and caring staff,
he is well settled. He loves his key workers and enjoys different activities every day. He has become more social and has made new friends.
I would highly recommend this nursery to others as both my children are in love with it.

My son has been attending Mother Goose Corner Nursery two and a half days a week for just over a year and loves it. He talks about the ladies all the time at home and the activities he gets up to there.
He especially enjoys practising writing his letters and doing artwork.
He has the opportunity
to go swimming and to forest school when the weather permits and gets very animated when he tells me about it.
When I asked him what he enjoys there he said playing with his friends and the toys. It’s lovely seeing him develop friendships and his confidence has thrived.
He will now try most foods down to the wide range of food offered.
With school starting approaching, the ladies have helped him get ready, although I am sure he will miss coming.

Each carer at Mother Goose has taken a special interest in our son and in nurturing his curiosity and development. We receive detailed feedback on the activities he has been doing and the things he enjoys. At mother Goose, every child is cared for and encouraged to develop their own interests as well
as participating in the organised activities. We really couldn't ask for more from the team; from sports days, woodland adventures, bus rides, swimming lessons, visits from firefighters, to Polish Christmas songs, French stories and learning about cultures and food around the world, our children are stimulated and full of wonder at the end of each day.
Mother Goose not only provides a wonderful, caring and fun environment for the children, but the staff are valued and respected and encouraged to develop their interests as childcare providers. This focus results in a team of passionate individuals who each bring their own creative ideas and develop activities to fill the children's days.

Excellent staff and would highly recommend to anyone in this region, one of the best and my child has been there for the last 3 years and enjoys every bit of it. Very cordial and diverse staff, plenty of activities all year round, swimming classes, practical learning like chicken hatching/incubation,
fire engine/man visit etc. Also, the management is excellent and is a family run business with a personal touch. Kudos to the entire team and staff.

I am a very proud mother of a four-year-old daughter and I thank the staff for all their constant efforts in making each day wonderful with their creative learning and activities. My daughter has been in the nursery for the last 3 years and enjoys every day. It is a very pleasant environment and the
children are in their safe hands. This makes it a happy place. I am so pleased with the choice we have made and would highly recommend it.

My son has been full time with Mother Goose for over three years, and he’s loved every minute of it. He’s growing up to be a wonderful young individual which can only be down to the brilliant care and guidance he receives on a daily basis.
We discovered at an early age that he had severe allergies,
working with the manager and her team through a tough period, they came up with ideas that helped our son feel included at meal times without any risk to his health.
I honestly can not put into words how highly I recommend Mother Goose.

I cannot recommend Mother Goose Corner highly enough. Since November 2019, my son has been taken care of by the fantastic staff in the Baby Suite. From the outset, the staff have made the effort to get to know my son as an individual and have been responsive to his needs, both in terms of educational
activities, and nurturing and caring for him at times when he's been unwell or upset. We receive regular updates on him, his daily activities, and his progress both in person and via an app. They do a great job at balancing fun and education with their selection of games and activities and they show a great deal of variety in terms of themes and areas of focus. The staff in the Baby Suite are dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring. On the rare occasions when I have picked my son up and his key worker was not around, I can always rely on whichever member of staff is available to give me a reliable update.

We had a change in circumstances which meant the nursery was now out of our usual commute but having seen other nurseries, they just didn’t touch the amazing Mother Goose. My little boy has been going since he was ten months old, full time, and he honestly wouldn’t be the amazing little character he
is without them. They have helped him grow and taught him so much and I couldn’t have asked for a better nursery. The staff are all so patient and caring and always want to help the children and teach them anything they can. Over the last few months my boy has started showing a real want to learn and develop more ready for school this year. They have jumped at the opportunity and keep working with him on all the skills he will need to help him going forward. They always include the children and take on board their individual interests so my little boy loves going in every day. They are such a wonderful place and I couldn’t imagine my little boy being anywhere else.

My children have been attending Mother Goose since 2014. First my oldest who is now at school and my youngest who is now in preschool after starting in Mother Goose’ baby suite at eight months old. Never have I once doubted the care of all of the staff at Mother Goose. They are all caring, engaged and
go above and beyond for all of the children in their care. They bring out the best in all children in a safe, fun, encouraging environment. The activities are varied and never fail to surprise me, from yoga, languages, crafts to the fantastic outdoor space which is used in all weathers. I have no hesitation in recommending Mother Goose to anyone.

My son has been attending Mother Goose Corner since September 2019 and I can't recommend it highly enough. All of the staff are fantastic, they are intelligent, welcoming and genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing and future.
My son was quite emotional when he first started going to Mother
Goose Corner and the staff worked with me to build up his confidence and help him make friends. Now my son loves going to preschool and gets involved in all of the exciting activities. He tells me he particularly loves yoga, zumba and learning French and Polish!
My son's key worker has been extraordinary and keeps me updated on his development milestones. She is just the loveliest person.
The owners clearly really care about their staff and invest in their futures which is probably why they all seem so happy to be there each day. It is unlike any nursery/preschool I have ever seen and I really haven't got a bad word to say about Mother Goose Corner - they are outstanding.

Our boys have been with Mother Goose Corner for just over a year now, starting in the Baby Room and currently in the Tweenie Room two days a week.
What can be said about the staff that work there other than they are all excellent. Friendly, knowledgable, highly professional and extremely patient with
me... oh, and my boys (I do ask a lot of questions being a first time parent).
They offer a varied diet for the children under their care. The food always smells amazing as the kitchen is right next to the entrance and I’m almost entirely sure my boys eat better than I do.
The new play facilities in the garden are amazing and are far better than the facilities that most of the parks in Huntingdon have.
To cut a long story short; we searched and visited a few nurserys before our boys were born as we always felt that the early days of development are the most important. Over a year on and my two little boys are proof of what a fun and happy environment can do. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you.

We couldn't recommend Mother Goose Corner enough if we tried.
The staff go over and above the expectations of a nursery school, always putting our sons educational and emotional needs at the core of everything that they do.
Feedback is excellent, via use of the app and through evening reports. The
nursery are easy to contact on the phone and provide opportunities to meet to discuss our son's progress as required.
They provide excellent standards of food and snacks.
The environment is clean, with plenty of educationally enriching equipment and opportunities to learn.
The teenie room has 'themes' which change regularly to provide interest and understanding to the children.
Our son has built a strong relationship with his key worker and often talks about her and the other nursery workers at home.
Our son's speech, language, literacy and numeracy skills have developed rapidly since starting at Mother Goose Corner.
The nursery is well led by knowledgeable and effective leaders.
