Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Lakeside first opened in 2009 and, being the first of the day nurseries within Partyman World of Play, has grown and blossomed into the amazing Day Nursery that they have today.

Twizzle Tops day nursery will ensure a 'Magical day of learning through play'.

The baby room consists of a black and white area which helps young babies to gain focus from an early age. It also has low-level play equipment, perfect for when babies begin to gain control of their bodies and has a wide variety of space available. This means babies can move and explore freely without limitations. There is also a sensory room, which helps babies develop their fine motor skills as well as their sensory development.

Toddler and pre-schools rooms offer a ‘free flow’ concept. Free-flow play has been proven to be more beneficial for the children as it more closely reflects the 'at home' experience. When children have more choice and freedom to move between spaces they develop greater independence and remain happier.

Within the rooms there is a large indoor sand pit, cosy area, messy play zone and mark making area. Staff thrive on including 'at home' experiences as much as they can within nursery life and areas, role play and home corner reflect this.

There are daily adventures into the outside area to feed the ducks and talk about the shapes that carers see, as well as regular fun days within nursery and fun trips to the local cinema theatre and even the farm.

I had visited a few nurseries before looking at Twizzle Tops which was later recommended by a family friend. I instantly liked the cleanliness of the nursery which I had struggled to find whilst looking for one for my son. Having had a brief tour of the pre-school area, I immediately knew I wanted him
to attend. He has been coming here since summer last year and absolutely loves it! An electronic learning book is also updated regularly so that you can not only read what they’ve been up to, but also see as they upload photos weekly. His social skills have come along nicely since attending and we are really pleased with his development. I was also concerned about him being kept in a room all day but was pleased to hear they are taken out for walks/fresh air outside when possible. I would definitely recommend this to everyone and anyone.

They are extremely helpful and try their best to comprehend and understand my son. In addition, the nursery has friendly and easy-going staff members, which makes me feel like my child is safe and in good hands. They always keep me updated if my son improves in something or does something new to let
me know what's going on while I'm not on his watch. My child had great improvement and learning.

My son has had a fantastic time at the nursery. He's been attending Twizzle Tops full-time since turning one and will now be going to school in September. He's learnt a lot from here and made a lot of friends. The key workers particularly are very caring and loving. I would recommend this nursery anytime.

I will highly recommend Twizzle Tops Lakeside given they are simply outstanding. My son started with them in January 2020 at just ten months and he has thrived socially and in learning. You get a report of what your child has done daily and how they are generally at nursery, including nutrition and
feeding. He loves his key worker who makes him so well tended to. She is just amazing. The management staff are brilliant both in communication and professionalism but most of all ensuring the safety of the children. I won’t hesitate to bring my next child into this nursery. Excellent, and please keep up the great work.

Our daughter attended Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Lakeside, from April 2017, when she was a year and a few months old, until March 2019. Her time here ended, unfortunately, because we moved homes.
Our daughter absolutely loved her time at Twizzle Tops and she equally loved her key persons. She was very
happy at nursery and was always really excited to go to play and participate in all the different learning and creative activities she and her peers were presented with. She made numerous friends, especially one in particular, whom she still speaks and asks of up till today.
As parents, my husband and I were really happy and content with the care and love that was shown our daughter at Twizzle Tops. Everyone was always so pleasant and professional. We were always so impressed at how well the Manager and our daughter's key persons knew and understood our daughter.
I would like to say a massive "THANK YOU" to everyone at Twizzle Tops Nursery Lakeside once again! You are well appreciated!

My son has been at this nursery since he was one and felt really at home straight away. He always has a great time and looks forward to going. The nursery always has a very wide range of activities they do with the children and they all have fun learning through play. He loves to tell me about the things
he has done. The staff have all helped with making my son enjoy his time there.

My daughter loves the nursery. In there she feels like home and this is because of its staff and of course, her key person. The teaching nurse is supporting my daughter to reach her full potential. To give you some examples:
* my daughter is bilingual and the teacher wanted to learn her second language
in order to help her with her everyday requests;
* she was there to help my daughter with transitioning from nappy to potty train;
* she was even staying over finishing time when my daughter was feeling poorly just to make sure she is ok.
And these are just a few examples of an ordinary day in the nursery. I am very happy with all its staff as after all, it's all about the people!!

Can't thank Twizzle Tops enough for everything they have done for my daughter. She has come so far in just a few months and is totally ready for school in September. She can now write her name, numbers and identify shapes. Every day she comes home an shows me something else she has learnt. The staff
go over and beyond for each child. It is truly going to be upsetting the day my daughter leaves for big school. My daughter's keyworker is so good with her and has become a friend, rather than a teacher. It is lovely to see. Thank you all!

Twizzle Tops staff are always so happy, friendly and approachable. My son adores them all and always has so much fun. Everyday is full of learning and brilliant fun activities. They do a fantastic job and we couldn't recommend them enough.

My son feels very happy and safe when he goes to Twizzle Tops and loves the teachers. The teachers at Twizzle Tops are doing a great job with updates regarding my child's day at his nursery and also they keep me updated with any activity that happens within the nursery.

My daughter started when she was 8 months back in April 2018 and not once has she cried during the settling process or her time to date. She extremely likes her key teacher and as a result, since day one she gets extremely happy as soon as she recognises the entrance of Nursery. Before my daughter turned
1, with the support of her key teacher and other team members she started eating on her own she started walking with the encouragement of the team. Not once has she suffered from nappy rash caused by the nursery, her key teacher has always followed my instructions on my daughter’s key points and she has recognised new skills and encouraged her to progress. Her daily reports are very good and useful as it indicates what my daughter has done on the day, nap & nappy changing time and the type of foods she had eaten. I will recommend the nursery to anyone that is looking for a mind resting nursery. They are very friendly & helpful. I can see that all members work as a family which impact our kids.

Very welcoming nursery..staff are great with children my two sons came to twizzletops first son is now 8 and my other son 2.
My 8 years old still asks if he could go and says its better then big school.
I cant thank the girls enough for all hard work they give they go out there way to give support
and advise when my son started potty training.
I also love the fact i can see what my child is doing while at work with great picture posted on twizzle tops parents page on facebook.
I would highly recommend twizzletops to all parents.

A really welcoming and lovely team at the nursery. Very informed on how my child is developing and supportive of my child's needs. Would highly recommend to others. Made me and my partner very welcome and they have thoroughly prepared our child for the transition to school. Our child is totally ready

My eldest daughter first started nursery here in 2013. As a first time mother, I was anxious to leave her but was soon assured she was absolutely fine. I got daily updates on her progress, eating habits, daily activities etc. She blossomed so much from a shy 5-month-old to a very confident, smart and
kind young girl. Upon leaving she was so sad as she had formed such great bonds with both her peers and the staff. My now 2-year-old is attending this nursery and I couldn't be happier! Knowing how much she has come on in such a short period of time I know how special this nursery is. Not only do they encourage the children to learn but they also give the children their own choices and confidence to make them too. The food choices are a wide variation to promote a balanced diet. Allergies are taken very seriously here too. I cannot fault this nursery at all and would not consider any other nursery for my children to attend.

I choose Twizzle Tops Lakeside as it’s a fantastic nursery with easy access when working in the shopping centre. Their care is from 7-7 which is flexible around work patterns. The girls who work in there in my eyes are outstanding! Their care towards my child is as if it was their own! My child goes
to nursery and looks forward to it every day! My child has learnt and grown in the time they have been there and is now 100% school ready! The new revamp to the nursery has made it fresh and eye appealing and I love it! I would highly recommend this nursery to all. Thank you for your care, education and overall memories you have made for me and my child.

My little girl started going to Lakeside Nursery when she was one. Now she is 2 years and 7 months and she has learnt so much in this nursery. She started walking, eating and talking with the help of everyone in Lakeside. I feel confident that my child is well taken care of when I go to work and also
I receive a daily feedback of what she did during the day. The nursery has a garden and large play centre which benefit in many ways for children's development. I love the staff as they are friendly and responding towards any queries I may have. If any concerns arise I can always discuss it with the key worker who will help me to work towards the benefit of my child. My child is observed closely and is always encouraged to develop their own personality. I also love that they promote healthy eating. I am very happy with this nursery and I also love seeing my child becoming more confident and happier each day through the love, care and support she receives at Twizzle Tops.
