My daughter loves going to nursery as she gets to be involved in a lot of fun activities and likes her teachers too.
She started attending Little Raccoons when she was 2 years old, now she is 4 years old. I can see a vast amount of improvement in her learning and development and also her social skills.
I
can see she is very confident when talking to others and putting her points across.
Along with academics, she does extra curricular activities too such as playing football and even going to the library which is wonderful.
We are very happy and satisfied that she goes to this nursery as we know she is in good hands.

Around a year back when we were about to shift to Watford, I was going through the website to know more about this nursery and guess what, it is more than what you can expect from a nursery/daycare for your child!
Although not luxuriously spacious but we found this setting beautifully set up with a
special focus on hygiene and age-specific educational toys/resources in a dedicated space. The lovely and professional staff are very supportive and try to create an environment where your child can thrive to grow in a best possible way. My daughter loves to go to the nursery everyday and enjoys her time here to the fullest. It has also helped in her overall development.
I am giving 4 stars just considering if only there could be flexibility in charging per hour rather than half day/full day as I used to have in previous setting in other areas. Highly recommended to anyone who can afford to pay a private setting and is looking for a nice environment for their child to grow.

Little Raccoons Day Nursery Watford has been an amazing place for my child's development. Since my son joined, I've seen incredible growth in his confidence, social skills, and learning abilities. The staff create a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel safe and excited to explore.
The learning activities are well-structured, making education fun while fostering creativity and curiosity. My child comes home every day with new skills, stories, and a big smile. I truly appreciate the dedication of the team.

Both of our children have attended Little Raccoons Day Nursery. Our daughter is now in reception, and our son is currently enrolled. Our experience has been wonderful. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, always focusing on each child's individual needs. Both of our kids have flourished in
such a supportive and enriching environment.
The variety of activities and learning opportunities are both creative and engaging. I love how they blend fun and educational elements that truly support my children's growth and development. The nursery itself is always clean, safe, and welcoming.
As parents, we feel so reassured knowing that our children are in such capable, compassionate hands. We also value the regular updates we receive. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our little ones to grow, learn, and thrive.

We are incredibly pleased with Little Racoons Day Nursery. The small size of the nursery creates a warm and family-like environment, and our son's key worker is exceptionally kind, nurturing, and caring. Our son started nursery at 10 months with a food allergy. All staff are clearly well-trained on
dealing with allergies and care plans are strictly adhered to and reviewed frequently. Kids are given an impressive range of activities each day, with plenty of messy play and crafts. The only area for improvement is the outdoor space which is in desperate need of investment. However, we have noticed new outdoor toys being added, and the children do get to play outside daily. We would not hesitate to recommend Little Raccoons to other parents.

My daughter attends this nursery. I am so pleased with my experience at Little Raccoons Day Nursery Watford. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Especially the deputy manager. She is amazing and
works incredibly hard. She really does make the children feel loved at all times and is really passionate about her job. My daughter is obsessed with her. My daughter has thrived in their environment, engaging in fun and educational activities.

My daughter has attended this nursery for nearly a year and is thriving. She loves going in and is always happy. The activities are extensive and I can see they are really helping her with her development and she is really enjoying her time. The staff are amazing, friendly and you get lots of feedback.

We've had 2 children here (one graduated in Aug 2024, 1 current) so had experience for over 4 years. To say we have been pleased is an understatement, we have had positive experiences overall and are extremely happy in our choice. We initially chose Little Raccoons for the small, friendly and cohesive
environment and that is exactly what we received, our children were able to see consistent friendly, and truly caring staff on a day-to-day basis, as well as being able to interact at times with children within the other age groups which definitely helped encourage and supported their development.
Our children have adored their key worker, as well as building strong bonds with the wider staffing team. They have worked with us to ensure our children's development was on track but also provided the individual care each child needed in specific areas that required it.
We really appreciate the environment, and culture they have provided our children to date.

We have had a great experience with Little Raccoons, both past and now present. It's an incredibly warm and nurturing environment, with wonderful staff who clearly love what they do.
They create fun and engaging activities for the kids and give so much support in the kids learning, especially in the

We visited a number of nurseries but Little Racoons was a clear stand out for us. It's a small nursery which was perfect for us as it means there's more to do for the kids than at child minders but it's also small enough for the kids to receive great personal care in an unintimidating environment.
The
manager is brilliant. She always goes above and beyond and has helped our son settle in really well and has been great at giving me and my wife comprehensive updates on how he's getting on.
She's always available should you need to speak to her. Her team are equally as good and show a real passion for their work. They have all built a great relationship with our son, it really does have a family feel which we didn't find at the other nurseries. Highly recommend Little Racoons!

Both of my sons have thrived at Little Raccoons in Watford. My eldest has just started in reception; I feel that the support he received at the nursery prepared him well for the transition to primary school in developing social skills along with a good foundation of literacy and numeracy. My youngest
still loves going to the nursery and always tells me about the fun activities that they do. The staff have always been fully supportive and very nurturing.

My son has been attending Little Raccoons Day Nursery Watford for almost a year, I was quite concerned when it was time for my son to start nursery but the staff has made me feel at ease since day 1. Both I and my son settled into this new experience quickly thanks to the staff who I feel is very caring
and engaged with the children.
It is a small nursery where I feel that the staff has time to focus on each individual child and give them attention and support to ensure that they are always progressing and learning.
My son loves his days at the nursery and I have 100% confidence that he is well taken care of during his time there.
The communication between staff and parents is great as well, I'm always updated on his development and I feel that I'm always welcomed to speak to them if I have any questions or concerns.
It is overall a great nursery that I would definitely recommend to other parents

We've been absolutely delighted with Little Raccoons from day one. It's a small nursery, which is great in our opinion. All of the staff know all of the kids and kids of different ages get to interact - we think this has helped our son develop confidence and 'moving up' to the next group isn't such
a big deal. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and caring and our son is very happy. There's a great range of fun activities for the kids to take part in, but the staff always ensure the kids are learning too. Our little one also loves the food - a really healthy and varied menu. It's also been really helpful having staff be so supportive with potty training. I'd strongly recommend Little Raccoons to parents in Watford.

My little son has been attending the Little Racoons Nursery since March 2017 on daily bases spending long hours at the nursery. He has settled in nicely and quickly after our big move. That is all due to the excellent approach of the profesional, yet friendly, staff who always welcome him with a big
smile and lots of enthusiasm to start a new day.


I love the idea of the big room with sections for different ages, where children from each section are allowed and encouraged to follow freely and socialize with their friends from all ages, it's just like a big family! The nursery is always kept clean. There is always a big variety of toys and activities keeping the kids busy and happy.


You can easily notice the staff's efforts with the kids which reflects on the kids' manners and their speech and skills progress. I am very pleased with their support through the potty training process for my kid. I would strongly and easily recommend this nursery to any parent in the vicinity.

A fantastic nursery with warm, kind staff, lovely facilities and an extensive range of toys and activities.
