Langar Nursery is dedicated to a fun and stimulating approach to early years development and education.

In a safe, friendly and fun environment, with both indoor and outdoor play areas, children are supported by qualified staff in developing a wide range of skills and interests.

The nursery is managed by the Early Years' Alliance, whose contribution to the sector is highly-regarded throughout England.

All activities are planned in accordance with the early years' foundation stage and there is a strong focus on healthy eating. Professionals understand the benefits that free flow play can have on a young mind.

There are up to 30 hours funded childcare available for qualifying 2, 3 and 4-year-olds.

My boy loves his school life very much, it brings him love, care and fun. The varieties of activities are wide, and the rattle and roll section is amazing. Staff are professional and show their care and patience.

Langar is a fantastic nursery, and the ladies who work there are equally as brilliant! They care a great deal about each individual child and do such an amazing job! It has made leaving my little girl at such a young age so much easier knowing she is with wonderful caring professionals.

We, as a family, honestly couldn’t be happier with the care our 2-year-old has received since starting at Langar last year. The ladies are all brilliant with him, and he is very happy and settled in the setting. We really are grateful to the whole team.

My two year old daughter started the nursery in January 2022. Since she’s started she has become so clever, so chatty, always asks for her friends at nursery. The staff are so kind and helpful and have done wonders with my little girl! Can’t thank them all enough for everything they do and have already
done! Can’t recommend this nursery enough!

My child is so happy at Langar. She started in September 2020 and settled in very quickly. She has made a lovely bond with the ladies who look after her and has lots of little friends. The staff communicate everything that I need to know about her day. At the moment she’s struggling with a set back
in her potty training and the ladies are being very supportive and helping me to try and get her back on track. The setting is small and homely, full of lots of toys to play with and there is a very safe outdoor space. The ladies are always putting on fun activities to fit in with various events throughout the year.

Wow! What a fantastic nursery. I feel extremely lucky to have such a wonderful facility on my doorstep.
My son joined in January 2021 at the age of 1 and like many new parents, I was worried about how he’d settle in. I needn’t have worried as he’s settled in perfectly, all thanks to the amazing staff.
The setting is homely, well equipped and engaging for all ages. I love that all the children are in the same room and can socialise with each other, as opposed to being separated.
They also use an app to keep you updated on your little one throughout the day. Regularly updating it with pictures and developmental milestones, meaning you don’t mind a thing.
However, the main reason this nursery is fantastic is because of the caring, passionate and dedicated individuals that work there.
If you’re looking for a nursery in the area, I can’t recommend Langar Nursery enough.

My son started nursery this summer, he is 2.5 and hadn’t ever been before. The staff were so lovely, which made the transition so easy for us. They were warm and patient with him and were so flexible as we got used to the routine. He is so happy that we’ve upped his days.
I’m sure there are nurseries
with better facilities and menus etc, but we stuck with this one because our son felt so at home here.

My 4-year-old has been attending the setting since September 2018 and is very happy and settled. The setting has a lovely 'home from home' atmosphere, and the children form close bonds with the staff. There are plenty of activities to keep them entertained, and it is great to have a nursery on school
premises as the children get used to the learning environment that most of them will eventually graduate to. Thank you for looking after us so well, and you will be missed when he goes to school!

An excellent nursery. Brilliant, caring staff. Our daughter goes in each day and she has learnt so much from everyone. I can't speak highly enough of the staff. The only area for improvement is the food but this is a larger primary school issue.

The nursery staff go above and beyond to help create a safe learning environment for little ones. They embrace the characteristics of individual children and help them to grow and develop at a pace suitable for each child. For a special treat, they allowed me to throw a children's art class party for
my little girls birthday. I got to see first hand the excellent delivery of care that they deliver, the way they helped the children thrive in each activity was beautiful, it really is a special place to send your children. They have great communication, a fantastic range of activities and themes, and a good understanding of food allergies.

My son attends this setting for two days a week and has been going since he was two years old. He settled in really well and enjoys his time there. They offer a variety of learning opportunities. They communicate well and update us on his progress via an online system, which is great for working parents.

My children love Langar. We moved to the area three months ago when my son was ten months and my daughter three years old. She’d been at another nursery since she was very small, and my son had never been away from me, so I was concerned about her making friends and him settling. It quickly became clear
there was no need to worry - the staff handled the move brilliantly, with warmth, expertise and flexibility. They are so friendly and fun, and the setting is welcoming and homely. Now my daughter regularly asks if it’s a ‘school day’ and my son reaches out for his carer in the morning and naps like a champ. The whole experience has been like a giant comfy bear hug. Lovely!

We have been using Langar Childcare for six years now and my third child is currently in the baby area, about to move to the bigger area. We are so pleased with the service we get at Langar and the caring nature of all the staff there. My son settled in quickly, loves going there and is now settling
into the bigger area. My two older children transitioned so well into school and it was thanks to the staff at Langar Childcare. Thanks.

My son began childcare in the baby room and was gently introduced to the bigger room over a period of weeks as he was quite shy. Since moving up, his confidence has soared, vocabulary is now coming on in leaps and bounds too! Being a fussy eater we have stuck with packed lunches but the staff were happy
for him to try warm dinners and kept me updated on how he got on. This nursery has a lovely family-friendly atmosphere and the staff are amazing! They are more than happy to listen to parents' requests and do their utmost to accommodate you. As a small village nursery, I can’t recommend it enough!

My children love coming to nursery and the carers. They always say they have had a lovely day and have formed new friendships with the children and people who look after them. Great quality and affectionate care. Our children see it as a great, fun place to be.

We have been using Langar Childcare for over four years now, with our eldest daughter and now our youngest daughter having attended. Our son is still with the setting in the baby room.


We have nothing bad to say! All of our children have been taken care of with such kindness and love, we really

I can’t recommend Langar Childcare enough. The staff are so attentive and this was the area I struggled to be satisfied with when trying to find a nursery, leaving your child with new people is something you must be comfortable with. It really is a home away from home. My children have been so happy
here, starting in the baby room and moving up to the full nursery. They cannot wait to come and spend time here and continually talk about the staff. The activities are creative and engaging and most importantly the love flows fully. Thank you ladies for making nursery fun and bearable for me to leave my babies with you!
