Acorn Grove Nursery is a Early Years Alliance childcare service.

The Alliance is a registered educational charity which provides flexible, affordable and quality childcare across England. This nursery is located in Cheetham Hill, Manchester. They offer 65 Ofsted-registered places.

The nursery boasts a committed, friendly and well-qualified nursery team that provides high-quality care and learning opportunities for children aged between two- and five-years-old. They also offer some availability for older children up to eight-years-old in the school holidays.

The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a strong focus on learning through play. Every child has a key person who best understands how to meet each child's individual needs and interests and parents are actively encouraged to become involved in the life of the nursery.

The team establishes a culture of 'in the moment' planning which is a modern approach to planning children's development. This helps to ensure that every child feels involved, stimulated and happy whilst at the nursery.

The nursery is currently open from 9.00 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday, 38 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays and three staff training days, usually one per term.

The nursery offers funded 15 hours childcare for qualifying two-year-old and all three- and four-year-old children. They also offer 30 hours funded childcare for three-year-old children with working parents who meet the criteria.

The nursery offers both indoor and outdoor play and gives children experiences of learning through play

Really good nursery, staff are professional and know what they are doing. Would really recommend it to family and friends. Really lucky to have such a nursery in our local area. Staff are friendly and really good with my kids.

Staff are really nice and welcoming.
My child is happy to come to nursery, she says ' I like nursery'.
My child's development assessment was emailed by key worker, was happy with her progress.

I am very satisfied with this nursery. Staff are very good and look after the kids very well. I will definitely recommend to my friends. My child really enjoys her nursery and is always happy to go and learn so many new things.

I am very happy with this nursery for my little boy, he really does get a lot out of it and enjoys his day. The nursery teachers are all fantastic and do an excellent job. I would highly recommend this nursery to my friends and family.

Absolutely great nursery. My daughter first started and settled in straight away with staff. I know my son attends and at the beginning, he was very hard to settle but literally within one week he was amazing and loves every minute of being in school and always talks about his teachers and the activities
he does. Staff are great.

I’m really happy with Acorn Grove Nursery for my two year old. The staff members and nursery managers and key workers are excellent, very helpful, gentle and polite. My son took a while to settle in the beginning and I was quite worried that he wouldn’t stay without me but all the staff made so much
effort with him. They made sure every day there were activities that he enjoyed to divert his attention and keep him happy and busy. They also provided help to toilet train him. My son managed to settle in and was so happy to be in nursery and play.
They updated the app regularly with progress reports of my son informing of his development with his age. If I left him upset they would message shortly advising how long he took to settle and whether he’s alright. At home time they always told me how his day was what he’d eaten and what activities he did and enjoyed.
It’s a great nursery, I highly recommend it. I’m so pleased with the staff and service provided. Overall I wouldn’t change this nursery.

My son visits this nursery with pleasure, arriving every morning with a smile and a hug with his host. The staff are all kind and caring with the kids, my kid has been very advanced since going here. I recommend to every parent to bring their child here if they want to be in the right hands.

This is our 3rd child that has attended Acorn Grove. We are happy with our child's progress and learning compared to other nurseries they spend time with our child and log all his developments. Thumbs up.
