Blue Butterfly Montessori is located in the heart of Pinner Village, a suburb of north west London within five minutes walking distance from the Metropolitan line, straight into Central London. They provide outstanding high-quality care and education for babies aged three months through to children aged five years.

The dedicated and highly experienced staff deliver a fantastic and challenging approach of teaching to children, implementing the methods of Dr. Maria Montessori, working alongside the Early Years Foundation stage. Montessori teachers and Nursery Practitioners offer a wide range of curriculum aimed to develop the whole child to provide lasting functional skills.

Blue Butterfly Montessori is a child centred nursery, which offers natural light in all four of its spacious rooms, two of which offer direct access into the nurseries own private garden.

My son started Blue Butterfly Montessori in November 2019 and at the start was a little unsettled on drop-offs, but the staff were very caring and loving and made sure to make him feel safe and comforted. I can definitely see a positive difference in his learning since he joined the nursery where he
has now started to learn to build sentences and his social interaction skills have also developed. The staff always give a detailed feedback on how my son's day has been and I feel assured he is having a good day as this can be seen on drop-off and pick-ups, as he is happy and smiling. Thank you so much to everyone at Blue Butterfly for looking after my son and teaching him so many new things in life

Lovely and warm nursery with amazing well-trained teachers. My little one started nursery in November and at the beginning, she was a little unsettled but with the teachers support my baby now is really happy. The teachers were really helpful with getting my baby to go to sleep without any milk and
all by herself too. I’m really pleased. Well done to everyone and keep doing your good work.

A wonderful place for our children to start their journey in education. The classroom and management staff have put great effort into ensuring they settle, are accommodated, learn and are cared for. Not one day has gone past where I have wondered if my children are OK or happy. Blue Butterfly became
their favourite place to learn, play, grow and have fun. The staff show wonderful care and consideration whilst managing discipline appropriately and fairly. A huge focus is placed on how well my children develop, without putting pressure on me as a parent, or placing judgement on myself or my children. I felt so supported and reassured by having my children under the care of Blue Butterfly, and I feel any child who gets to spend time there is incredibly lucky.

My daughter has been attending Blue Butterfly Montessori for almost two years and she absolutely loves it! The staff and management have been great and always show great enthusiasm and support. We have rarely had to flag any issues and when we have, they have been dealt with in a professional and efficient
way. We have seen our daughter develop in so many ways and we cannot thank Blue Butterfly enough for all that they have taught and encouraged her to do.


I can not recommend Blue Butterfly enough.

My son has been attending Blue Butterfly for around seven months and I'm extremely happy with the nursery. The staff are caring and very informative with updates, suggestions and feedback. The nursery grounds are always clean and tidy. The facilities are second to none. Mealtimes are comprehensive and
diverse. Blue Butterfly has had a huge impact in shaping my child's future. I look forward to watching my son grow and develop as he moves through the rooms and experiences all that Blue Butterfly has to offer.

I saw a lot of nurseries prior to enrolling my little boy, and Blue Butterfly gave off a vibe that no other nursery did. Bright, friendly and clean! My little one took a while to settle in when he joined the baby room but the staff were so patient with him and updated me every day how he was getting
on and what I could do to help the process. The staff that work there, from the manager to all the girls in each room - always have a smile on their face and are so good with all the children! They’ve really helped and encouraged my little one to grow and find his feet, become independent and vocal - the setting gives children an opportunity to grow and learn through different methods of learning. More importantly the staff - are always willing and ready to listen, be it good or bad feedback and will act upon and change/modify anything they may need to.
Overall - an excellent nursery - but it can only be so because of everyone that works there.

This nursery is amazing! My little one has been going there since 16months and is very happy there. The staff are really pleasant and warm and really listen. The fact that this nursery is vegetarian is perfect for us as we are vegetarian at home as well. We visited many nurseries before choosing this
one and found that unlike other nurseries the kids look so happy here. The nursery is well located for us and there is always parking. The management is very approachable and really take feedback on board. Overall an amazing place and if I had any more kids I would definitely send them here again! Well done, team Blue Butterfly!

This is a brilliant nursery. Friendly and approachable staff and managers who are caring, attentive and gentle with the children. My little one loves the nursery and settled very quickly. They do a home visit first which helps with settling. I travel 30 minutes for this nursery as I believe it's very
important to have the best nursery for your little one. It's clean, the room staff and managers appear happy and there is a good atmosphere which obviously has a positive effect on the children.
Good communication with the parents: - The parent portal app and book are brilliant and I love seeing the daily updates and photos.
There are parent/nursery meetings so there is constant dialogue between parents and management and the parent's evenings. The menu is healthy and my little one eats very well here. They have good weekly activities for the kids and specific festival events for the families, it felt like a community rather than a business! I recommend this nursery to everyone! I wish I knew about it for my older child.

Lovely caring and nurturing nursery where they really care for your children. My daughter has been going there for a year and she loves the activities and the friends she has made and also the key workers who really do a fantastic job.

My children have thrived during their time at Blue Butterfly. The staff were amazing at making them feel settled which was difficult for my son who needed that extra 1 -2 - 1 care and attention which his key worker helped provide.


The staff helped him grow confidence with his speech and regularly

encouraged him to do show and tell which he loved. They've even managed to get him to try new dishes despite him being a fussy eater.


My daughter has also excelled in maths and loves writing and story time since her time at the nursery.


Both my children have been vocal in saying how much they miss the nursery since leaving this summer.


I would highly recommend the nursery to friends and family. They have done a great job in preparing my twins for their next journey into Reception.

Both our kids have attended Blue Butterfly. Our son has been there since he was 18 months and he's 4 now and just leaving to go to reception. Our daughter started at 11 months and is still there at 17 months. We love the staff there, who are very attentive yet professional. They have a great relationship
with our kids and make them feel comfortable. The atmosphere is lovely, with great space available for the kids. We love the garden space. Ultimately very happy with the nursery and everything they offer.

Nice and easy going staff. Kids are taken very good care of. Vegetarian and nut free, so peace of mind. As a Montessori, they groom the kids ready to go to school. Not too expensive.

Excellent nursery. Staff are very caring and always smiling. They have made my son's nursery experience very positive. He was very shy when he first came, they have helped build his confidence immensely and encouraged independence. The facilities they provide are also lovely, very clean and spacious.

My daughter has been attending the baby room at Blue Butterfly now for 3 months. I was very anxious to be parted from her at such a young age, but the staff team made me feel completely at ease, giving regular and detailed feedback and reassuring me of her confidence and happiness within the room. My
daughter is very happy to attend nursery, smiling when she sees the staff team that work closely with her and often reaching for them before mummy is ready to say goodbye! She loves the extra curricular activities such as Tiny Mites and enjoys having free reign of the spacious room, laid out perfectly for curious little explorers! Since joining the baby room she has learnt to crawl and walk with a walker and we are sure this is due to the nursery space, facilities and encouragement from the staff. They are a caring, friendly team who show my daughter a lot of affection and love which as a parent of a young baby is one of the most important features.

My eldest son has been there since September 2013 when he was 10 months old. He is now in the "Pre School Room" where he has been for 2 months. I have been very happy with the education, learning and care that has been provided at nursery and I have been impressed with his progress and development during
his time at Blue Butterfly. Within 2 weeks of starting in the "Pre School Room" I could already notice new vocabulary and language that he was now using at home. He is very happy and settled at nursery and loves all his friends and the staff. Each room he has been to was very good and we were always sad when he had to leave the room to move on. I am really impressed with the Daisy Club, they do really fun activities. It is often difficult to get my son to leave!
My youngest son started Blue Butterfly 2 months ago in the Baby Room. I was initially worried as there had been staff changes and all the staff who had looked after my eldest son had left. My youngest son has reflux and allergies. However, I have been really happy with how well he has settled and overwhelmed with the care and love he has been shown. I have been impressed with the new members of the Baby Room. We talk each time he goes into nursery, they work closely with me to ensure that they are looking after him as well as they can. They have tried very hard to make sure he is settled and comfortable and talk to me about new things they would like to try. I could not have asked for more!
Blue Butterfly have worked very hard to overcome the OFSTED rating. In my opinion it was unfair as I believe they go beyond what is expected of a nursery and really care about the children that attend there. They now have a Parent Nursery Association which was set up in October 2015 which allows us to feedback any comments we have as parents. The staff and key workers are amazing and do a brilliant job in making sure that nursery is a fun, loving and caring environment where my children are learning and feel safe.
