Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for your kind words regarding the 0-2 room. I am however disappointed with your comments regarding the 2+ room. During your time at Best Childcare, we never received any communications from yourselves regarding any of these issues, so these come at a shock to us. Your child hasn’t been with us at our setting for over 5 months so we find it strange that you would contact us via this platform with issues that have never been raised with ourselves. Your child was also in the 2+ for nearly a year and your other child was also signed up to start with, but yet we had no concerns raised by yourself. Due to COVID-19, your child did not attend nursery and you left the nursery as didn't want to pay the 25% retainer fee. I would like to wish you well for the future and we will treasure the wonderful memories we had with your child.

Within my role as contingency manager, I support the day-to-day running of the nursery and oversee our play curriculum to ensure that the standard of provision being offered at all times is of an ‘outstanding’ level.
I have worked within the Early Years sector for 4 years now in a variety of different roles in a few settings within the city including Early Years practitioner, room leader, junior assistant manager and now my current role of contingency manager at Best. Before this, I trained to be a Primary School Teacher and received my BA in Primary Education from the University of Hull in 2019. I am a TEFL-qualified teacher and have spent time in Southeast Asia teaching in a school out there.
I believe highly in the importance of children’s mental health and have completed numerous qualifications in this field to build and develop my knowledge. I am a strong advocate of outdoor play and am immersed in the benefits of this aspect of Early Childhood Development. I enjoy providing children with a safe and nurturing environment where they are free to flourish, and I firmly believe that the outdoor classroom provides the best opportunities for this.
