Denbigh Under Fives Group is dedicated to childcare that is quality and affordable, welcoming children from two to five years of age as a parent-run charity.

Diversity through language and culture and parent involvement. Teachers (and children) come from different cultures and speak several languages. This diversity is shared with the children through songs, rhymes and Spanish lessons.

Hygiene, nutrition and safety are important at Denbigh, which also has access to a fully enclosed secure garden giving ample time for outdoor play and learning.

What a brilliant nursery.


The staff are amazing and have always done a brilliant job at ensuring that our daughter experiences lots of activities and enjoys a variety of outdoor games and learning opportunities. There is a great family atmosphere which is very welcoming and always delightful to

all who visit. I would recommend Denbigh and I feel proud to be a part of the nursery.

We are so grateful to Denbigh and all the teachers, they taught, cared for and loved my two boys as if they were family. This level of attention and care is so rare. This small nursery and all the staff are exceptional and we are so lucky to have found them. I will always have great love and respect
and highly recommend to all. You could not find a better place or people to entrust your children to for their early year's education. We love Denbigh and we are sure you will as well.

Leaving Denbigh was an extremely difficult thing to do because it was like a home from home for my daughter and myself and her father. It is a warm, cosy place that has a family feel. The children are taught key values, good manners and feel safe. Everything you could want for your child is here and
we will always miss the staff and the nursery.

Denbigh couldn't have been a better start for my son. I was anxious about leaving him on the 1st day, fearing tears but the only tears he shed were when I picked him up to take him home! The manageress who runs the nursery has a special gift for looking after children - the love she feels for them
is clear to see on her face, and she is infinitely kind and calm. My son adored his time there and even now, years later still remembers it vividly. I was impressed with the learning that my young son received as well, which stood him in good stead when he started Primary school - he was able to write his name and some numbers and had learnt some Spanish from songs they sang. The report I was handed when he left was extremely comprehensive and far more than I expected. Couldn't praise it more highly.

We found Denbigh through a recommendation from friends and sent our daughter there. She loved everyone and we still pop in for a cup of tea and a hug. My son who was older when we moved here loves the manageress and has adopted Denbigh into his heart. The staff are welcoming, loving, funny, kind and
so caring. At a time when we were having various problems, Denbigh became a second home for both the children.
My daughter still sings the songs she learnt in many languages, and three years later is still best friends with her classmate.
Denbigh is a safe haven for children of all backgrounds, full of love and joy.
They taught my daughter to write her letters beautifully, have impeccable table manners, share her toys, always to put stuff away and take off shoes and coats, and installed in her a passion for trying new foods from around the world. She still talks about the noodles.
