Bright Horizons Wokingham Day Nursery and Preschool (formerly known as kidsunlimited) is located on Molly Millars Lane, close to the M4 with Wokingham train station, just two minutes away.

The nursery offers an excellent location for parents working in the area or commuting to Reading or London. It provides five child home bases each designed specifically for babies, toddlers and preschool-age children, as well as an activity room for all ages.

The nursery has three outdoor spaces. They provide space for the children to become growing scientists, active athletes, green gardeners and so much more. The growing room ensures children gain skills and knowledge to ensure readiness for school.

Meals and snacks are carefully planned in consultation with professional nutritionists and freshly prepared by the onsite chef in a 5-star environmental health rated kitchen.

Fees include all meals and snacks, plus branded nappies, wipes, cream, sun cream and formula baby milk as appropriate to ensure that there is smooth transitions between nursery and home.

My daughter has been at Bright Horizons Wokingham Day Nursery and Preschool for just over one year now and I can't fault them at all. They made starting nursery and the settling-in process as easy as they could for me being an anxious parent, no question was too sully or too much for them. All the staff
are lovely, nurturing and supportive towards the children and supportive to me, as the parent. They have great communication with me and I'm kept up to date with how my daughter does each day. Every day there are new activities planned and she seems to be really thriving from the variety. Her development is coming on leaps and bounds and she always likes to tell me about her day and what fun things she's been doing and her friends' and carers' names. My catch-ups with her key worker are informative and reassuring and I would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a nursery.

The staff have been great with our child, making us feel comfortable and relaxed from the very beginning. Our son is and always has been, very happy at the nursery and that is testament to the approach the staff take in making it a home-from-home for him. Staff are always happy to talk through his day

Very happy with our experience of the nursery. Our little girl has settled really well and has a great relationship with her key person. Knowing she is happy when we drop her off is very reassuring. The communication via the app is very handy and is great to see photos of her enjoying her day.

My little girl is attending the nursery since she was 8 months old and she has learned so many new things, she has bonded very well with the staff and the kids. Her speech is improving considerably and her confidence is way up.

Our son has been here since he was 10 months old and we are very happy with the nursery. He is so excited to go to nursery each day and we can see how happy and comfortable he is with the staff. They do so many activities with the children that we would never think of doing, which encourages his creativity.

My daughter started going to Bright Horizons at the age of 1 year old and she absolutely loves it. Friendly staff, variety of activities on a daily basis and delicious meals. The mobile app tracker is also very useful because I can see how much my kid ate, nappy changes, pictures etc. As a first-time
parent, this means a lot to me. We have befriended numerous kids and parents and the staff feels like a family.

My son attends twice a week and thoroughly enjoys his days at preschool. I receive regular updates throughout the course of the day as to what he's eaten and any observations they've made. I absolutely love learning about what they've been up to. The staff are lovely and they do such a variety of things
- encouraging and supportive. He's well prepared for school, which was one of the main reasons I wanted him to attend preschool so I'm really happy he attends.

My name is Lauren and I have been working within the childcare and education sector for 15 years. I have spent time working in many establishments from schools, Private Day Cares, Forest school settings, settings for children with additional needs and nurseries.


I have a foundation degree in early-year childcare and Leadership in practice. I started as a Nursery Nurse and have worked my way up to the Manager position, I am in now. Jodie, the Deputy Manager at Wokingham, began her career with Bright Horizons in 2012 at the Godalming Nursery as a Nursery Assistant. She studied for her qualification and steadily worked her way up to room leader, then third in charge, and eventually to her current role as Deputy Manager.
